VERY IMPORTANT!!!

yo, it's GIORGIO ARMANI on the keyz.
welcome welcome welcome.... to this
another month of chaos. i hope we have
finally settled our differences with
certain members of the scene but that
chaos was only part of it.

the international DIAL-OUT is officially
closed by the federal police on tuesday
27/4. i hope they ain't busting anyone.
rumour has it that the bill ran up to
$4 million by irresponsible users! now
telecom wouldn't be stupid enough not
to investigate, so keep your heads
down guys in the oz scene, because your
phone may be tapped and you may self-
incriminate yourself and even the scene
if you are not careful what you are
saying. who knows who's listening on
the other end?

just a few reasons why i think
investigations may be underway...

all calls are registered. but the
dial-out is registered as sort of a free
call. so at the end of the month, those
call are disregarded in your bill. sure
it's ok to call a free call but when
telecom see that you rang a free call
service for 2 hours, things get a bit
suspicious, don't you think?

even though the number is american so
the yanks got to cope the bill. but
using the 0014 800, telecom charges usa
$6 for the initial connection and a
per minute charge thereafter. so, even
though the u.s. won't pay the bill,
telecom will try to recover their money
by ways of investigation. anyone stupid
enough to talk for more than an hour on
the line may find themselves as the
scapegoat!!!

so hang in there guys. cut unnecessary
calls if you will.

just the day before the shutdown, i
called the MELTDOWN BBS run by INCUBUS.
the system is a amiga with 160 megs of
warez. it has 7megs of ram with
accelerator built in. the bbs runs at
9600 baud with 2 lines. so that's
pretty huge. but i was more amazed on
the amount of new games on the bbs. some
are only 3 hours old stuff!!!!!!!

anyway, thanks to INCUBUS, we got our
little tour with 5 megs available for
download and 200 minutes time. running
a 14400 baud modem (LOGIC/TSR'S NEW TOY)
we grab a lot of the stuff and it was
tops. so i like to thank INCUBUS for
all the fun we've had.

by the way, LOGIC/TSR is now our modem
trader and importer with his $700
14400 baud state of the art modem. we
even chat with jerry/triad's bbs.

issue of link 11.
