       >ac/dc special<

hello rockers! the boss of accu-
racy is here again with a special
chapter for you! from now on,in
every issue of splash,i will try
to edit a report for one of the
blues-rock-heavy metal groups.the
next month this will be >metallica
so send everything you know about
the ruler in thrash! anyway, the fi
rst report is about ac/dc as they
are the best hard-rock group alive

 name:ac/dc
 birth date:1973<
 home land:australia
 first members:bon scott(vocals),
  angus young(lead guitar),malcolm
  young,cliff williams(bass),chris
  slade(drums)
 type:pure hard rock...
 some albumes:t.n.t.,high voltage
 dddd cheap,highway to hell,back
in black, for those about to rock,
if you want blood, flick of the
 switch,guns for hire,powerage,blo
w up your video, razor's edge etc

 okey,ac/dc was formed by five
young ozzies and made their first
albume in 1973 and got to known
 after high voltage(1974).actually
they were quite hard if compared
with led zeppelin and deep purple
which were active on the same ye-
 ars.actually the "fathers" of he-
avy metal and hard rock are also
accepted to be those 3 groups wit
 th jimi hendrix.during 1973& 1979
 their success wasn't steady.but
the quality of their music never
fell and when they released high-

way to hell they caused a sensa-
tion all over the world, and became
one of the legends of rock.this al
bume became a classic of rock just
like stairway to heaven/l.zeppelin
but just after,their vocalist died
in an accident.the group couldn't
decide to go on music or not until
brian johnsom,an unbelieveable vo-
ice joined them.so they released
"back in black"in 80 which broke
all time selling records&made ac/
dc number 1 of the rock world.they
were just like gnr is today but un

like gnr ac/dc never releasd shit
songs like breakdown,locomotive..
so after that time,no one discu-
ssed their career.until 1991,they
always released top albumes that
reached the first place at charts
but none's popularity was like hi
ghway to hell or back in black.
and later in the early 1991,they
produced they mega-cool albume
"the razor's edge" where ac/dc
made the music of these days and
proved that they are still the
number one in hard rock.if you

check, you'll see that ac/dc is the
only group that kept their success
for such a long time...
according to me,ac/dc has made 3
stages in their music:
1973-1979,1980-1990 and 1990+
in fact in all of their albumes
they played another style(and this
is one of the most important and
outstanding specialities of them)
but during those periods the styls
are more close to each other.and
the difference between highway to
hell&razor's edge is unbelieveable

in all other groups, the most acti
ve member on the stage is always
the vocalist.but,this is not the
same for ac/dc.the lead guitarist
angus young is probably the best
in the world as no other can move
so much and go for so crazy solos
at the same.when he's on the stage
he loses his mind,he goes crazy,he
crowls on the floor,jumps,runs,ju-
st as if his guitar is giving out
electric.he also has a special mo-
vement that he does all the time.
with his schoolsuit,tie,and guitar

he's the symbol of ac/dc.he even
has a became a legendary symbol
for rock.
 and about the vocalist...first of
all his voice cannot be defined by
words so just listen the razor's
edge where you can hear his best
vocals.his voice is incredible,un
matchable and unreachable.i think
the closest to his voice is da vo-
calist of aerosmith and axl rose.
but still not strong enough.i ha-
ve to say that,if evil has a voice
it must be like brian johnson's!

> dirty deeds done dirt cheap/1976
the b side isn't very good but on
a side there are great songs like
dddd cheap and rocker...
                         > %85
>highway to hell

fucking coool!has some of the best
ac/dc songs."touch too much"and hi
ghway to hell" have become classic
songs.the other cool ones are walk
over you,girls got rythm,beatin'
around the bush,if you want blood
shot down in flames... > %99

 > back in black /1980

 fucking coool.they made the first
change in their style with this.
 the best songs:back in black(grea
 aaaaat),rock'n roll ain't noise
pollution, let me put my love into
you babe, what do you do for money
 honey,hells bells... > %99

 > for those about to rock /1981
 their only average albume.but has
a cool song named for those about
 to rock(we salute you)

 > flick of the switch/???

again a very good albume.has sup-
er songs like guns for hire, deep
 in the hole,landslide,rising pow-
 er and f.o.t.switch... > %95

 > fly on the wall/1985(?)

this albume is much above the av-
erage but not good enough.but sti
ll has very good songs like:shake
 your foundations(cooool),fly on
 the wall,danger... > %89

 > blow up your video/1988(?)

 yeah,also a fucking cool albume
with a lot of cool pieces:that's
 the way i wanna rock'n roll,this
 means war,two's up,nick of time,
 kissin' dynamite,meanstreak,heat
 seeker... > %95

 > the razor's edge/1991
 shit,this one's also mega!!it's
 accepted as ac/dc's best albume
by many people.(if you think abo
 ut today's music,that's right)

also the young generation learned
about them with this.also they
made their second big change in
style.also angus young and brian
johnson do their best.just have a
look at the vocals in all songs,
and see that angus made an unbeat-
abel solo in"the razor's edge"
check the music!best songs are:
the razor's edge,fire your guns
thunderstruck,are you ready,money
talks,mistress for christmas,she
got you by the balls,goodbye&good
riddance 2 bad luck etc > %99

 yes,that's right.according to me
their best albumes are back in bla
ck,highway to hell and the razor's
edge.i can't separate them!sorry!
 well,firstly,you should never
forget that,at the years when ac/
dc went on world tours,slash,het-
field,mustaine and all others were
playing around with shorts...
you may not like their music, but
you have to be respectful to them,
just like aerosmith,led zeppelin,
deep purple or black sabbath.they
certainly deserve...

    that was all!!see you!
