     |SCENE ILLUSTRATED - PART II|
     +---------------------------+

We continue DEBATE OF THE DAY..

Take a good look at what you can do for
the scene, and what you are actually
doing for the scene. Demos and games are
needed, and lots of them. Make drawing,
programming and composing a great
challenge once again. Challenge yourself
first and foremost, then take on
everyone else.

Take yourself to the limit. Award the
scene with moments, and you will be
richly awarded in return. Before you
know it, you will find yourself in a
different scene, that has risen to the

occasion of your efforts.

It is not the quantity of people in the
scene, it is the quality. There is
plenty of potential in the people the
scene has today. There are brilliant
crackers, fantastic programmers,
graphicians, musicians and good old
scene personalities. Swappers work like
bees to keep the scene moving, and they
need wares to continue.

Visit the C64 friendly parties held
around the world, instead of just
staying at home. There is nothing like
meeting the people behind the handles.
It is a great experience meeting those
you either know or have heard of, and
to find they are just really cool and
ordinary people - scene people.

Here it does not matter, whether you are
Danish, Swedish, French, Hungarian or
Dutch. The scene knows only one
nationality, and everyone speaks the
same language - on the same level.

If you think the scene is too slow for
your needs, do not whine about it, but
do something instead and get active.

Develope demos, crack games, paint
graphics, compose music, exchange wares
or write magazines. Do something, do it
with the C64 touch, and you will find,
the fun of the old scene is just around
the corner - waiting, waiting for you.

That is one sceners opinion anyway..
