D
Dear readers,

Summer this year has been pretty much
of a disappointment. Being spoiled
with previous summers and heatwaves,
this summer came out fairly dull.

However, scenewise, I have never found
myself in a happier phase. Spring was
tough on us, with a very close friend
departing from our world, always being
remembered. For the first time since
then, I feel we are back on the same
track we were before the tragical
accident.

Summers are always good scenewise. Even
though many people slow down activities
and spend some time off, there is always
a great deal of intensity in the air.

We saw the return of my dear collegue
DUKE and his magazine THE PULSE, some-
thing that people have yearned for since
the decline a bit less than a year back.
Though it appears the comeback has been

somewhat on the trembling side, I am
positive that the magazine will be back
in full effect, as in the glory days,
after a few issues. DUKE is probably
the most openminded and fluent editor
there is today on the field, and I do
indeed look forward reading every issue
with joy in the future.

ESCOM took their chance to provide us
with a happy mood announcing a relaunch
of the 64 in various countries, some-
thing that has come as a shock for many
of us. Question now is, will it benefit
us sceners? To cover this, many chapters
in this issue looks into the future,
and what we may very well have.

Also DOMINATION and VANDALISM have
shown great progress in what magazines

should be like today, and therefore
triggers as a boost for many of us.

Not all is golden, however. My dear
assistant and co-editor DEFF was unable
to finish the releaselist due to a
current vacation in Spain, but to cover
the wounds we've provided you with
something special. From issue #19,
DEFF will always be covering two entire
chapters in the magazine, covering the
releases on a very profesional basis,
unlike any magazine today.

PROPAGANDA popularity has grown immens-
ly over the year. We have always had a
focus on the boardscene, and it is
understandable that many find it hard
to enjoy. The mailscene has always been
bigger. But still, I am happy that many

realize that we function as the source
of information concerning the utter top,
and will continue doing so. As late as
today, I received the last pre-orders
for the magazine, meaning we have a
wide figure of subscripers who get the
magazine with cover and stickers as of
every release. The fine support from
F4CG and AVANTGARDE trigger the distr-
ibution further, and with that in mind,
I couldn't be happier. Or as my fellow
co-editor and dear friend DEFF said to
me on the phone before taking off for
Spain;
+------------------------------------+
"Propaganda is the only magazine to
read. I do not even read the other
ones I contribute my work for."
+------------------------------------+

So sitting here, in my new apartment
downtown Gothenburg, I couldn't be
happier that we have continued the
success of the magazine. Though I
carry it close to my heart, this mag-
azine is for you, and not for me. So
take it to your hearts, for what it
is, and what it gives. Everything.

                     Yours Sincerly,
