*Concerts
----------
Well, having parties on our ship is
very considerable, indeed! But from
time to time we leave the ship, in
order to party in a tavern.
Last month, we've anchored in two
harbours and ofcause we've visited the
local tavern there. Good rum and good
live-music there, so Sador and Flim
Flam remembered everything and are now
reporting about.....
*A Trash-Metal-Concert
-----------------------
Ahoi!!! This is Sador of Comic Pirates
with a little report about a concert
I've visited some days ago.
The concert took place in a disco in
Osnabruek and it was a Trash-Metal-
Concert. The groups were MEGALOMANIAX,
XENTRIX and last but not least TANKARD
Okay. At 19.30 o'clock a friend of
mine and I arrived at the concert-....
place.
The concert should begin at 20.00
o'clock. So we sat down and talked
about the scene and some other things
(my friend is in the Amiga-scene).
At 19.50 o'clock the disco opened the
gates. We and all the other heavy
freaks entered. At 20 o'clock the 1st
band entered the stage. It was
MEGALOMANIAX. This band was totally
unknown to me and my friend and so we
were waiting for the things to come.
They played for about 45 minutes. But
I don't like their music. There was
only one good song. The rest was to
'smooth' in my opinion.
After a little break of 15 minutes the
2nd group entered. It was XENTRIX, a
band from England. They also played
for about 45 minutes, but they were
much better than MEGA...
I like them. Their style was much more
'Trash-like'. They did a good job.
After another break of about 20-25
minutes the main-group of this evening
was up to begin.
TANKARD. They began with 'The morning
after'. Their gig took about 70 mins.
They played songs like 'Alcohol',
'Freibier', 'Shit-faced', 'Spacebeer',
'Maniac Forces', 'Chemical Invasion',
some songs of their new album and the
last song was 'Empty Tankard'. All in
all it was a quite good concert, with
around 800 visitors.
The whole concert ended at about
23.20 o'clock.
I hope this was not the last Tankard
concert in Osnabrueck. That's it!!!
If you want to get some Tankard tapes
contact me (look in addy-chapter).
So long, yours Sador of CP!
*Bad Religion Concert
----------------------
The Generator Tour'92...
Took place in..........PC 69/Bielefeld
On..........................8. June'92
Costs............................23 DM
Begin.......................21 o'clock
Organized by..........Sunrise Concerts
With a lot of motivation, I entered
the PC 69, to see the group, I've
heard weeks before in the radio.
Radio FFN played some live songs from
the New Noice Festival, and because I
have a lot of Bad Religion LP's, I
bought a ticket.
I noticed that it was not only my idea
to see BR live on stage, as I saw 600
other people waiting for the group to
come.
21 O'clock- The mess started. After
six songs of hard pogoin the good
middle-field, I left the battleground
to visit the toilett. As expected, it
was overcrowded, but as I've been
playing American-Football for a neat
time, it was no problem to reach one
of the hand-basins.
It was filled with blood and water, so
I used the other one..
With the rythm in my ears, I left the
piss-in and battled me through the
masses, back to the stage...
I was really surprised to see all the
people poging all the time, while I
sweat like a pig.
Some drops of water(?) droped from the
top of the building, but it was not
raining. Perhaps it was condensed
sweat from the other people.
The singer stopped and talked so often
that it's no wonder to let the concert
end at 11.15.
Anyway, when the singer was not
speaking, they played songs like...
-21 Century Boy. ----:
-Generator
-Operation Rescue
-Atomic Garden
-etc...
And with leaving the concert at 11.20
I saw PJD running outside and together
with him I spend the whole night..
Yours Flim Flam of Cp
Well, perhaps you have noticed that
this chapter was placed instead of the
interview. Ofcause we'll try to
entertain you with some more live-
interviews, but last month it was
impossible, because my machine sucked.
I have two paper-interviews on my
ground floor, but I'll only use them,
if it's not aviable to interview some-
one live. Anyway, I hope you liked the
concert reports and that's it...
