hey yo, be welcome to the latest version
of 'ADDY-BOOK'. i think this new design
is a very big improvement.

anyway, let me tell you something about
this chapter MR.MOUSE and i(MR.AMMO)

play in a band or know some good bands
and want their demo-tapes to be

- concert dates. (we try to cover whole
  europe)

let's start with gossip and news...

- DAVID BOWIE may resume his solo career
by recording "a few tracks" with
  producer NILE RODGERS but denies

  his much-criticised band TIN MACHINE.

- new age rappers PM DAWN were pushed
off stage by fellow-rap act KRS-1 and
a gang of his friends during filming
of a promo at new york's sound factory

  KRS-1 was apparently angered by
remarks made by PM DAWN's PRINCE BE on
  the subject of raising black
consciousness. PRINCE BE has issued a
  statement denouncing KRS-1's
"unprovoked attack". but " we bear no
  will" he added.

- THE ROLLING STONES' new concert film
at the max, featuring footage from
five shows on the bands STEEL WHEEL/
URBAN JUNGLE TOUR has been shot on the
  world's largest film format, requiring
  a special screen for viewing.

- rising indie band HOLE have parted
company from their bassist JILL 'cause
  of "RELIGIOUS DIFFERENCES!" the group
  are refusing any further coment.

fourth single, 'moira jani's cafe', to
try and follow up last year's hit
  'WEAR YOUR LOVE LIKE HEAVEN'.

called 'welcome to the cheap seats' on
  polygram on february 16.

by BOB GELDOF, has been wound up,
after having raised 110 million pounds
  for famine relief.

- LISA STANSFIELD has postponed her
  forthcoming EUROPEAN TOUR after a
  number of problems. however,new dates,
for which the original tickets will be
valid, are being scheduled for the
  summer.

- NKOTB are being sued for 14 million
dollars (or is it 40 million, i'm not
shure) by a producer who allegas they

- indie darling MY BLOODY VALENTINE have
been dropped by CREATION RECORDS after

at #6 in america. the song has already
done better than debut singles by the
  ROLLING STONES AND THE BEATLES.

concert dates...
----------------

ok, ok, don't yell at me. the reason
that you don't see any dates over here
is that i simply didn't have the time to
search for it. today it's sunday and i
might have some dates for PRINCE's
oncoming EUROPEAN TOUR tomorrow, and
perhaps some other artists. (so don't be
angry if there aren't any below this
text).

----------------------------------------
            SORRY NO DATES!
----------------------------------------

ok, i'll leave the keys for MR.MOUSE.

MR.AMMO says goodbye and see you next

i invented it!) and FESTIVAL-DATES.
and if we've got time to spare we try to
review the latest musics on the C64!
(send them in too!)

the address to send your stuff:
    -------------------------------

             MR.MOUSE/BLAZE
             XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

             XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

             XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

             XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

(WE TRY TO RETURN ALL TAPES!)

on to the reviewsector:
-----------------------

- group     :METALLICA
- title     :METALLICA
- released  :quite a while ago
             but their latest
- label     :VERTIGO

for those of you that have never heard
of this band, they used to restrict
themselves to high quality rock which
varried from very hard to ultra-hard.
(trash metal, speed metal)
the style might not please everybody,
but it is certainly technically out-
standing.
it seems to me that they've completely
changed style. their latest album is,
shall we say, ranging from SOFT TO
MEDIUM ROCK. it contains some quite
interesting ballads, with some nice
solo-play by lead guitarist KIRK HAMMET.
on the whole, you won't find one bad
song, though i'm not so keen on SAD BUT
TRUE, but hey, that's personal!
the thing is, their former bassplayer,
CLIFF BURTON, got killed in accident on
september 27, 1986, when their tour bus
went into a ditch. it took a brief while
before they replaced cliff for JASON
NEWSTED. jason obviously has got some
own ideas about playing bass and this
has of course influenced the music.
for instance: the ballads THE UNFORGIVEN
and NOTHING ELSE MATTERS are really
different from any previous METALLICA
songs. they come to show that these
people really know what they're doing.
now something about the pieces of song-
text. they can be described as realistic
lines, which critisise our society now
and then. they're most certainly not
crap or bullshit lines. you could say
they sometimes go beyond thoughts and
show the world in it's realism.
for people who are not fond of this type
of music, the album is well worth a try.
for the fans this is a must.

right musicfans, this is it for this
month; remember to send your tapes etc.!
as i play the drums in a band named
LIVING AFTER, i always welcome other
bands to show me their pieces, to hear
what they can do or sometimes learn from
them.
do not forget to send in them c64-pieces
as well! contact me!!

MR.MOUSE signing off!
