    starring dustin hoffman, this is a
story of a 'bum' who has broken up with
his wife.

    one night while driving his beat up
datsun 120y in the rain, a large
airliner crashes 50 metres from him.

    with great difficulty, a young boy
who's father was still in the plane,
persuades the bum to save his dad, but
on his way, he saves many other people.
in the confusion, no-one actually sees
his face.

    he leaves the scene quietly and
resumes normal life until he heres that
a one million dollar reward will be
given to the person who saved the
people's lives.

    another person wrongfully claims the
credit for the event and the rest of the
movie portrays way in which justice
prevails.

    not a bad movie, but not as good as
the high-budget releases from hollywood.
