hello guys!first of all i want
to start this chapter with a litt-
le question to you.please let me
ask something to you.do you remem-
ber the article which was written
by HIBISCH/EX-REBELS telling us a-
bout his problems with JERRY/TRIAD
i'm sure that you can easily re-
member it.there,as i have told you
before,i wanted to start a discus-
sion of this problem which is now
going on for a long time,so i as-
ked for two of them to write what
had happened for publishing.first
i got the hibisch's article so we
published it first also jerry did
not send me anything at that time
saying he also didn't know what's
the problem.but in this issue here
i'm so pleased that here's another
point of view from the other side.
i'm glad that i could able to make
you to hear this problem from the
both sides and prepare the atmos-
phere for you to judge with your
mind.well,i think after writing
jerry's article my job with this
problem will be over as you will
decide with it.ok,i think it's e-
nough now so just don't miss more
time on this crap talk and just
start with jerry's article.

      JERRY/TRIAD ON HIBISCH

FALCON asked me to write about
my problems with hibisch, but i did
not know i had any such problems
so i had nothing to write i told
this to FALCON.

i still think that the one ha-
ving problems is hibisch,but the
others i TRIAD asked me to react
on the article in splash 15.

   fact,i have NEVER accused hi-
bisch for ripping.

   since that infamous REBEL intro
had no credits given,at first i
thought it was done by hibisch, but
the only guy i said this to was
NEOTEC.he told me that antiplex
had coded it and that was it.

my letter for NEOTEC was priva-
te and on paper.it was certainly
not ment to be spread so i have
not accused HIBISCH for ripping.

   i know who made RIPPERS-UNITED
but there is no reason for me to
tell the world who that was.

i think it was right to point a
finger t that intro so i helped to
spread RIPPERS UNITED.

   fact,not only does hibisch not
like english as he said himself he
doesn't even understand it all the
way.

i wrote HIM a letter and i did
it to let him know for sure that i
didn't accuse him for ripping.the
letter obviously made him more
angry for some reason i just can't
understand.

and if he wasn't sure about
what i actually meant,why didn't
he write back to ask me ?

   after my letter to HIBISCH,ins-
tead he wrote a note about me ac-
cuse him for ripping.

   i wrote a public note where i
told the world that i didn't accu-
se him for ripping.

now comes this article in the
splash where he once again comp-
lains about me.

what can i say? HIBISCH must be
missing some parts of his brain.i
keep telling him that i don't ac-
cuse him of ripping and he just
goes on complaining.

so what is behind this ripping
business?

   E3/EX-REBELS just recently told
me that we are all thieves and pi-
rates stealing from the companies
selling games,so what is the big
deal if we steal from another
cracker or coder?

this is the content of what he
said even if not his exact words.

   ok,in a way i understand him,
but i can't agree with his attitu-
de.NO WAY as far as i am concerned
there are some unwritten laws that
most of us follow.

many of us often have reason to
use something that someone else
has created.this may be music,a
charset or even a picture.

   when we borrow something like
that we have an obligation to give
full credit to the guy who created
the thing from the beginning.

THIS IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT!

   when ANTIPLEX used the blue
fantasy landscape from the old AC-
TIVISION demo,he fucking should
have said so.

   so,the landscape scrolls in the
other direction? BIG DEAL.

so,he wrote his own code for
the scrolling? BIG DEAL.

there is still this blue fan-
tacy landscape scrolling with a
logo over it.REBELS or ACTIVISION
logo over it,what is the differen-
ce? not much really.

anyone who doesn't see that AN-
TIPLEX liked that old ACTIVISION
demo so much that he wanted it in
a REBELS intro is blind.why else
didn't he draw a new landscape
when he made new code and a new
direction of scrolling?

   i think that it's ok,but a bit
on the lame side to borrow like
that but if he doesn't tell that
it comes from this old ACTIVISION
demo then i call it ripping or
stealing even if the code is new
or the scrolling is in the opposi-
te direction.

NO OFFICER!THIS CAR IS NOT STO-
LEN!THERE IS A NEW MOTOR IN IT AND
I'M DRIVING IN THE OPPOSITE DIREC-
TION!

   what the 64-scene desperately
needs is creativity and not for us
to borrow old stuff to use again.
wel,not too much anyway.

but if we like some old thing
so much, then we fucking should gi-
ve proper credit to those guys in
the past who created things that
made the scene that we like so
much.i think we owe them a bit of
respect.

but back to the subject of HI-
BISCH.he whines ad snivles and say
he can't stay on the scene because
of me.

   because i actually never accu-
sed him of ripping?

because i wrote him a letter he
could not understand?

because he is brain damaged and
can not understand when i keep
saying that i don't call him a
ripper?

no wonder they got tired of him
in REBELS.geez...life's hard,isn't
it?especially if you use your bra-
in for banging it into a wall over
and over again.

and may all pro-nazis be sent
to the sun on a one way ticket.

                    JERRY/TRIAD

   yes,that was the answer article
from jerry.now,the next step's be-
longing to you as you will decide
who is right in this matter.i'm
glad that i could able to bring
you the problem from both sides so
i hope my duty is over now.i also
hope that this problem also never
occurs again in the future and our
scene will always be very closed
at perfection.let's end the words
by saying that let's meet at the
new discussions in the new topics
in the future.that's all about it
for now.
