i am here with my usual job and
i am proud to present you the
second interview of this issue.in-
fact this is a very long awaited
interview which was done with THE
TRENDY DEALER/ARM for the previous
issue but as i couldn't managed to
get it on time,i had no chance to
use it.so as you see,you have this
time the chance of reading it now
so what we are waiting for? more
crap talk? it's now a bit useless
i think,so let's start with it.he-
re it is.

   -:falcon +:the trendy dealer

  -:yo trendy dealer! welcome to
this interview.could you please
tell us about yourself?

  +:hi...i'm wondering how many
people will be interested to read
this interview.(-:i think lots of
guys as SPLASH readers are quite
interested in every chapter of
this magazine.am i too arrogant,
heh he?) maybe if i'm lucky,i will
find one or two persons interested
(-:sure that it will be lots more)
by the way,i'm eugenio,18 years
old,1.75 cm long with blond hair.i
live in florence, one of the most
famous city of all the world, i
think.

-:how is your normal life going
on? your family,schools,friends
etc?

  +:my life...wow,i can stay here
writing for hours about that, but i
will try to concentrate myself to
write only the most important ones
i'm living with my mother,father
and my hated cat.i stopped school
some time ago,and i'm not working
at all.i'm leaving my bed about
the 10/11 in the morning, and after
i spend my time with my friends or
my girl,or on my prefered hobby's:
computing or dancing in the most
trend disco's near my city.

-:when did you buy your computer
and could you please tell us about
your background in the scene up to
now?

  +:i remember i bought my 64 at
christmas 1987.i asked it to my
parents because most of my friends
had one.so,i had played games and
swapped them on my country with
normal people for about two years
and after i started to contact so-
me sceners, and to gain my first
contacts.i started as neno and ma-
ded RULER together with a friend.
after one and half year i joined
THE FORCE and left again after so-
me time for internal problems.so i
changed my handle into the trendy
dealer and joined ARM,the group i
am still in.

-:what can you say about the
difference in italian scene when
you started and now?

  +:to be honest,i didn't see much
difference from whem i started
till now.italy was and still is a
country where are really few sce-
ners.italy isn't much interested
in the 64 scene.

-:your group arm is a quality
cracking group which has the slo-
gan 'arm-where cracking is an art'
but as far as i know you don't in-
terested in 1st releases.what is
your comment?

  +:yeah,arm didn't release cracks
so much earlier (also because in
the group there is only one crac-
ker) but we try to make the best
version possible of a game.we did
not count the speed but the qua-
lity instead!this is the our rea-
son for our slogan and also the
reason for being not interested in
first releases.

-:there are not much groups left
in italy.tell us some words about
the relations between the remai-
ning groups in your country?

+:i just answered in part at the
fourth question but you should
know that i have not any other i-
talien contact.see,i tried long
time ago to contact a dude of an
italien crew.he answered me(by
phone) that he have not enough ti-
me to swap with me,too.maybe i ha-
ven't contacted all the few itali-
en sceners, but any of them answe-
red to my letters.maybe i can sur-
vive without their friendship but
we are few in the same country to
be a part of the scene,so why do
not be all a group of friends?bah,
they didn't really know what does
friendship mean,and take their
scene-life as a real job.not a so
good feeling,not!

-:although you have a modem you
are not interested in modem scene.
it is a bit hard sometimes to con-
nect illegal but isn't it enjoyab-
le according to you?

  +:yes,i have a modem but i did
not use it.at first i got it beca-
use i was thinking it was cool to
enter that other scene-world,to
call boards and left messages to
the people...without the slowing
of the post.but after i saw that
nobody wanted to help me by giving
cards or info about blue-boxing,
so it has really harder for me to
call out each time trying to cheat
the calls.so i prefered to abondo-
ne it.mailtrading gaved me many
satisfactions and is still giving
me that!

-:in your last sending i learned
that you bought an amiga 2000 and
started to swap on it.are you
slowly leaving the scene? by the
way can you tell us your future
plans?

+:i have got my amiga on the
passed christmas.i started swap-
ping on that machine and joined a
group too.i can only say that e-
verybody talking shit about the a-
miga,surely didn't know that mac-
hine because is absolutely fabolo-
us.by the way,entering the amiga
scene didn't mean that i wanna
left the 64 one.i'll stay on both
and be sure that i will follow the
64 till his end.

  -:you decreased your scene acti-
vities too much 2 or 3 times befo-
re because of boredom.but then you
came back and increased it again.
and this shows that you are a lo-
ver of this scene annd can't leave
it too easily! am i right?

  +:yeah,i decrease my speed after
i re-take it.so i decrease again.i
haven't a precise time for compu-
ting.i also have a real life to
live.i can stay one or two weeks
without my computer but after i'll
find even the time to dedicate to
my beloved scene-friends.yes,the
scene (mostly the friends i have
on the scene) is a part of my life
and i can't imagine myself without
writing letters,copying discs,ma-
king packages,faking the stamps...
it's a ritual i have to do someti-
me.you are right:i will never lea-
ve the scene too easily,i'm a sce-
ne-dependent.

-:what are your wishes for our
scene?

  +:just look at 1/2 years ago.i
wish the scene to come back to
that fucking cool moments.now for
the 64 scene is a negative period
because software house are slow-
ling lefting this machine and
people seem to be even less inte-
rested to compute on it,too.many
old big groups died!i hope all the
sceners will do their best to let
the scene stay alive and kicking.
just in memory of the old good ti-
mes.

  -:what's your opinion about our
magazine and this interview?

+:your magazine is a really en-
joyable one and i like it more on
his new style.about this intervi-
ew...wow,my face is becoming every
moment more red thinking that mil-
lions(??) of people will read the
crap i written.(-:heh he)by the
way compliments for the questions.

-:do you want to greet some
friends?

  +:impossible to make names.i
won't have a best friend.everyone
is a good friend or isn't a friend
of mine.so just a global salute to
all my contacts and also to every-
body who even heard about me(what
are you waiting for?contact me!)
a special greet to you that maked
me possible to talk about me at
every splash reader!

  -:last thing to say?

  +:yes...don't take the scene as
a job as some are doing.don't care
if someone send you stuff you al-
ready have (i'm talking for myself
he he) the important thing is
friendship,you can contact me in
each moment and be sure to get an
answer.

  -:thanks for the interview.

yes,we have come to the end of
the second interview of this issue
oh,are you still looking for more
interviews? another chapter is al-
so ready for you waiting to be se-
lected.no need to say what you ha-
ve to do so just see you there.
