dear people,
it has been a goddamn job, but it's with
pride we can officially invite you to
TRIBUTE 1994! you are on the guestlist
with over 3500 other people who have
meant something through the years on the
commodore 64. TRIBUTE comes to remind
you of your past. it comes to show how
good it all really is, and was. gone are
the days when you could enter a party
and find it flooded with 64's. gone are
the days of many old legends. we will
remind you. remind you of your addiction
we think we have a succes at our hands.
we realized long ago a 64-only party was
in great demand, and as TRIBUTE 1994 was
announced some 2 months ago we intended
to make it different. this was not just
to be another event in 8-bitstory, this
was to be THE event. and in a way, it
really is.
i'm glad things are working right now.
the interest is at an incredibly intense
level. people from all generations are
signing up. do what you can do, and pro-
mote TRIBUTE as well. to friends, old
friends, hell, even to your enemies.
bring along your commodore, your collec-
tions and get back to the roots with
everybody else. TRIBUTE 1994 happens
once in a lifetime, and never again, so
why waste a perfectly wonderfull chance?

C O M P E T I T I O N S
with all talents coming from all over
the globe, it rounds up to become one of
the most promising competitions ever in
8-bit-story.each one of the competitions
will be presented below. you see, there
are some rules, but still only a few.
1. DEMO COMPETITION (standard 64)
da official contributions will be judged
in 3 categories : top-3 overall demos,
best designed demo and most technically
advanced demo
2. GRAPHICS COMPETITION
all formats allowed. art must be handed
in as an executable file.
3. MUSIC COMPETITION
all formats allowed. all music must be
handed in as executable files.
4. REU DEMO COMPETITION
a demo that can take advantage of either
256 or 512 kram. of course, this is a
seperate competition.
the official demo-competition will be
judged by a jury,consisting of 10 coders
successful ones, who have been or still
are involved in the commodore 64-scene,
however with successful achievements
from their past.the judging will be done
in public to make it as exciting as
possible.
graphics and musics will be judged by
the public, in other words by YOU.
E V E N T S
NOSTALGIABONANZA is an honest orgy in
demos that have meant something to the
market itself.we start of with 1001 crew
and continue in alphabetical order. this
event is one of its kind and adds up to
almost 15 hours of pure demobonanza. in
case we'd be dumb enough to miss a clas-
sic one, be sure to bring YOUR favourite
to include it in the show as well.
DEMO OF THE DECADE AWARDS is the next
step from the nostalgiabonanza. the bo-
nanza will end in a massive voting hys-
tery, where YOU can affect the results
in this highly credited title. the re-
sults will be presented with a classy
touch.
LIVE TV. the tw-crew will broadcast at
the place. interviews, results, competi-
tions and all our events will be broad-
casted. we will also show YOUR homemade
scene-releated videos on request. an
official party studio will be set up. if
you want to book time, please do. have
your own talkshow! you can do whatever
you want.
SCENE-JEOPARDY on stage. take part in
the worlds most popular quiz show. the
topics are only related to the scene. of
course it takes place on the big stage.
hosted by big profiles. amount of contes
tants is limited so it is advisable to
sign up as soon as possible!
NIGHTCLUB. well, there should be enough
party at the party, but to make sure
everything is as fabulous as possible,
we've booked the popular WALK-OVER,where
we all can get together and chat along
happily. jucke/genesis*project will be
the dj and will give you a simply asto-
nishing performance.
SNACKBARS, CAFETERIAS and KIOSKS will be
available around the clock at the party.
a pizza delivery is also available on
request. shops are located nearby, in
fact everything you may need is located
nearby.
SLEEPING AND WASHING facilities are good
however, if you are snobbish enough, we
will help you arrange something else.

SPECIAL! if you're lucky enough, you
might see solar/f4cg, deff & hok/avt and
newscopy/g*p singing their notorious
hits 'oh debbie' & 'i used to love her'
on stage! :)

BUSES TO AND FROM TRIBUTE
swedes and finns can smile happily,becoz
we're arranging busrides to and from the
partyplace, departing from stockholm at
thursday the 17th of november. the buses
leave at midnight from klarabergs-
viadukten, stockholm central station.
the busride itself costs sek 240, or if
you prefer to go for the packagedeal,
where you pay both the busride and the
party for sek 420. this is all available
thanks to splendid cooperation with
people we know. make sure to pay at post

you by any chance still have questions,

for further assistance. when having paid
you'll recieve all information needed
about the buses and their departures.
HOW TO GET TO TRIBUTE
we're setting up escorts from all pos-
sible destinations.
- when arriving by train, you arrive at
the centralstation. people with TRIBUTE
signs will be by the informationdesk to
take care of you, whenever you arrive.
- when arriving by plane, you arrive at
landvetter airport. people with TRIBUTE
signs will take care of you, whenever
you arrive in the hall of arrivals.
- when arriving by organized busses or
by car, we urge you to come to the big
busparking-area outside ullevi (scandi-
navia's biggest arena), at the corner of
ullevigatan and skanegatan. where the
TRIBUTE crew will meet up with you.
- when arriving by ferry, people with
TRIBUTE signs will be in the hall of
arrivals.
PAYING THE EASY WAY
payin in advance is a service we're of-
fering you. paying in advance allows you
to book room and space for your group
and gives you massive extra-service at
the party itself. it is our sincere ad-
vice to you that you do as the rest and
pay in advance. the facilities offered
are worth it. all pre-payers, you will
be charged for the small amount of :
