hi and welcome to the sixth issue of the
oxyron magazine - S K Y H I G H -
this time with a totally newcoded outfit
last time i was unfortunately forced to
use the same outfit as in all the pre-
vious issues!!
in issue 4 (the one released in sweden)
i promised that from issue 5 there would
be a new outfit coded by axis/oxyron
but something happend and he handed it
over to graham/oxyron.. buuuuut
graham was a bit lazy and besides he was
working on other products!
i had an oxyron meeting at my place (in
denmark) -here i wanted to release issue
5 with a new outfit by graham - but he
hadn't even started coding it yet!!
i hadn't released skyhigh for a long tim
and i didn't want to wait another month
so i was forced to use the old outfit
once more...
then i asked tts and axis if the could
work something out for me...but - but
something came up and the had no time.
well i had to get a new outfit.so what
could i do?
i was talking alot with raz of camelot
at the time. so i thought 'what the fuck
i'm gonna ask him if he was interested
and had the time' - and he had!!!
so after several phonecalls, sketches,
coca colas, coffe and latenights it was
finished..
and here it is!!!
i think i better fill in some background
on the coder...
RAZ of camelot !!!!
well who the fuck is raz??? you ask!!
raz is the programmer of the c-64 game :
'hagar the horrible'
yeah give him a thought all of you who
cracked his game!!! (hehe)
he joined camelot at the aars-party 1992
and he has recently released the cml-mag
'revealed' (which he also coded!!!)
and soon a coop-demo between him and
glasnost is out! 'a RAZNOST demo?? hehe)
next time i'll bring a crazy interview
with this cool guy!!! - so better watch
out fellows!!!
one thing is for sure another dude is
soon known to the scene!!!
and to you razze... a million thanx for
taking the time to code this for me!!

for all you who has complained on the
old and lame outfit - check this!!!
- you said the grafix was boring - i say
yes i have to admit that - but now its
changed!!
- the loader was way to slow - ok then i
give you a fastloader!
- the chapters took to much disk-space!!
ok i give you packed chapters!
- you told me that the old outfit was
boring or even lame.. ok i bring a new
and cool outfit.
- you wanted more music - ok i give you
3 tunes to choose!
- lot of you like the text so i'll ofcoz
continue that!!
satisfied??
i hope so coz i myself think that this
mag is pretty good now!!
-but ofcoz someone do not share my point
of view! - but thats natural!!
but i would like you to write a reaction
for next issue..
please tell me what you think. and tell
it honestly.. i do not get offended if
you write a 'bad' reaction. coz that's
your opinion. i respect people who say
what the mean instead of licking asses!!
(i say what i mean and i expect you to
do the same!!!)
but i would appriciate if you would drop
me a few lines telling what you think.

ok i guess it's time to to give you some
information on the mag!!!
the menu is fully icon-operated..this is
very easy to use for the reader..
just use joystick in port 2. - move the
pointer (the arrow) over the chaptericon
and press fire !!
the chapter will then be loaded. it use
a fastloader!!and combined with packed
text the loading time is very short!!!
when loaded and decrunched the text will
be showed in the upscroller!
i guess everybody know how to control an
upscroller.so i will not explain that,
but only say that 'fire' will return to
the menu!
on the menu is three frames!

the 1st is the chapters!!
the 2nd is for turning the music and the
flashing on/off
the 3rd is for different tunes.they are
all in the memory and will not be loaded
this mean no loadertime - cool eh!!
but how do you return to the upscroller?
oh thats very easy!!
take a look in the upper left corner.
see the star : * just press fire on the
joystick and you are in the readerpart!!
i do belive everybody is able to use
this magazine with no problem at all!!
if not, then let me know, and we'll work
it out!!!

i can only say as jvd/focus this is a
good way to get known coz your tune is
well-spreaded!!!
ok what more to say!
yep this one.. as you might know then
the famous aars-party (the danish x-mas
pardey) will not take place this year.
BUT
don't panic!!
coz what i mean is that it will not take
place in aars !! - but this year it will
be held in 'herning' in denmark.
herning is a town south of aars!!
the reason is that the locations was
getting to small!!
the c64 organizers will once more be
camelot... congratulations guyz!!!
(hope the waiting lines will be shorter
and we don't have to wait for ages again
i hope i am able to bring the invitation
in the next issue of skyhigh!!
so better catch it!!!
all i can say is that the pardey will
take place december 27th - 29th...
i hope we'll meet there.. (and we (oxy)
will bring home another 1st prize hehe)
so remember to make a cross on the dates
at the calendar!!!
