_|Fixing cooperation|___________________
 +------------------+
With Australian fixer CEREBUS leaving
the scene, AVANTGARDE and F4CG enter an
agreement, where AVANTGARDE aim to fix
certain releases for their friends. The
decision start rumours about a coopera-
tion running fulltime, which is not the
case. Both groups have ambitions to con-
tinue their normal activities on the
all other levels.

_|FTPs in the spotlight.|_______________
 +----------------------+

The most popular FTP in the world, being
DIGITAL DUNGEON, was being criticized by
the responsible runner of the system.
TRS*SCS are thereby forced to open their
ftp, earlier shorltly called "PITEL",
to the new "UTOPIA". At the same time,
PLAYBOY from F4CG launches a public
message to people on the net, that
the F4CG-FTP, INTERPARK might be taken
down. INTERPARK, Italianbased ftp has
been up and running as a test during
the year, and according to the runners,
the testperiod is over. Flooded with
response from the public, INTERPARK
is saved by the users of the 64.

_|Leader of Red sector arrested|________
 +-----------------------------+

The former leader of the successful
RED SECTOR, also working for the list
of PROPAGANDA is again in the spotlight.
This time however, it is not for act-
ivities in the scene, but for being
arrested for selling drugs. The police
have reported finding 35 kilos of
cannabis in PSYCHOBILLY'S apartment,
while also SCAT, artist from RED SECTOR
was arrested a few days later. The
leader was sentenced to several years
in jail, along with other people in
the his web following.

 +-------------------+
COUNT ZERO, who was working with ONSL-
AUGHT earlier during the year was ann-
ounced to return to the 64, and did so
shortly in a Dutchbased label. Appearing
under TRC*SCS, the cooperation gained
another fixer and cracker matching the
already existing talents.

_|Sign of worries in Avantgarde|________
 +-----------------------------+

Organizer of AVANTGARDE, DEFF, moves to
Berlin to take up his new job. The topic
raises suspicion whether AVANTGARDE will
continue to be topping the charts, but
during the first weeks, the group proves
to be just as competitive as always.
Heading for the last few days of the
year, the group falls slightly in ac-
tivity, but AVANTGARDE claim it just
temporarly. JACK ALIEN still works at
his ordinary pace, as well as one of
the scene's favorite spreaders, IN-
TRUDER.

being the 2Oth issue. The magazine con-
tinues the debate with ONSLAUGHT, that

_|A tragedy to the software market|_____
 +--------------------------------+

CP VERLAG, perhaps the only German

softwarecompany worth to be lookin at
announce that they will not be publish-
ing any software for the 64 in the
future. The announcement comes as a
punch in the face for both crackers
and programmers who have seen it as a
reliable source the past few years.
Whether there will be a German company
to pick from where CP VERLAG left off,
is yet uncertain.
