And the years have passed ridiculously
fast. I hardly paid attention to the
days passing by, but one thing drew
my attention through out my era. The
changes.

We have had to adapt our unwritten laws
and rules for appreciation throughout
the field, we have had to adapt our-
selves to the new softwaremarkets, and
we've had to let new people in on the
ride of rides.

Perhaps you've been wondering why I only
cover so few groups in the PROPAGANDA

news. Some of you have declared finding
it offensive, focusing on an elite, on
the boards and on the firstreleasing
market. That is NOT quite the case. The
issue for me, is to cover the groups
that are regarded being on top, while
others simply have had to be set aside
until proven differently. Perhaps, I'm
just stubborn, perhaps I'm ignorant
but perhaps, yes perhaps I'm just a
little right.

It has always been the issue of the
scene, whether who's on top or not. It's
a fierce struggle, I tell you, and you'd
be lying if you told me anything else.
When getting there, you do so by hard
work, bu sweat, good connections and
an attitude that in fact does take some
time to develop. Most topgroups today

recruit younger talents. People they
believe have possibilities, and that
may one day take over from where the
older people leave. Look at it as an
educational era, look at is as main-
taining a trademark or simply do not.

Not all youngsters or newcomers are
recruited into the topgroups, however.
Most people, are brave enough to set
off on their own with new groups.

Time will deliver respect and attitude
towards these groups as well, but it is
a highly natural step before I start
focusing on groups like ATLANTIS,
EXCESS, JAM and DELTA as the utter top.
Nothing harsh to say, nothing offensive.
I simply have no clear opinion of what
these groups stand for, or what they

will stand for when they grow up. Today,
they're simply going through a digital
puberty, where acne is not the worst of
problems.

Perhaps some of us have been around for
too long. Many of the people who have
stood by the wayside of the 64 for a
long time, lose the spark and energy
to keep growing. I for one, am convinced
I have not stopped growing on the scene.

Propaganda is continiously bringing
along new views, angles and ideas for
me, and so is the group I take part of.
I do not know what makes it special,
but one major factor must be developing
many and good friends.

People who stick around, and do not

develop a friendship through the years,
grow fairly tired at a dull level, and
leave the scene without much hesitation.
For me, it would never be possible. I
would miss the atmosphere, I would miss
the people(some) and I'd most definately
miss the struggle it is all about. With-
out the friends, I'd probably have left
the building a long time ago. I've discu
ssed the issue with others, and we all
tend to come to the same conclusion.

However. With a new breed coming on, it
is time for us to make path. Though it
may not be in shape of help, but sooner
or later we have to accept the fact,
that there is a new generation, a gene-
ration whose spark is more intense than
ours, because they're new. They still
have the hunger to achieve something

they still have to fullfil, they have
the courage to take on the world, and
most definately will do so in quite some
time to come.

So until proven differently, the new
breed will have to work up a sweat.
One day, with us gone, the new gene-
ration will take over.
