Dear readers,

Let me take the first few minutes of
your delicate time to salute our dear
friend Mathias. Without him, things
haven't quite been the same. I for one,
found it hard to concentrate, and
avoided everything scenewise. Apart
from my close friends in staff and
group, nothing seemed right to do.



Today, looking back at the time that
has passed, I can look at it with a
healthier view. And I do believe he's
actually watching us from somewhere
where he can follow us along the narrow
path we walk. This issue belongs to
Mathias, and a chapter, OUR OWN WORDS,
is us speaking to him.

So you have a historic issue in front
of you. The launch of the pre-ordered
Propaganda became an immense success,
and with over 9O people writing us,
we have been flooded with letters.
The first 9O are being delivered, with
covers, stickers and more, to be follow-
ed by more orders, constantly coming in.

From this issue and onwards, 3 public
domain libraries will also stock the
Propaganda/Order Version to widen the
distributional possibilities, and it is
not long until we can officially put up
our WWW/Homepage on Internet. People
from Argentina, Brazil, Russia, Ice-
land and Egypt are sending us letters
and following our work, so we are in-
deed not along out here.


In other words; Propaganda has expand-
ed immensly. To the better. And still,
we do have more marketing plans, since
our goal is to provide you with the
best magazine there is on the scene.

But then again, Issue 17 triggers
another slightly interesting and his-
toric ocassion. With Issue 17, I,
NEWSCOPY, editor and publisher have
been held responsible for more issues
than the original creators of the
magazine; ANTICHRIST & SORCERESS.
Hopefully it has been for the better,
and I do trust myself enough saying that
so is my belief, though the start was
somewhat trembling. Today I found my-
self working with a staff I couldn't
do without, especially DEFF who is

doing a wonderful job putting the
pieces together.

I'd like to thank one of the few
decent competitors we have out there,
being VANDALISM for warm words about
PROPAGANDA. It is interesting, because
one rarely gets rightout appreciation
from the work done on the scene. There
is a tremendously rough surface to
everything, while credit is sparsley
delivered. Words about our work for
the magazine make us grow, thrive
and continue. And believe me when I
say, PROPAGANDA has many aces up the
sleve. And while thinking of them,
awaiting just another issue, I'll
deliver you just another teaser for
the record;



- What if I told you, there was going
  to be a second TRIBUTE?
