Jamaica 10 ch09 Reactions
From C64 Diskmag Wiki
reactions iopop ---------------------------------------- yup! last time we lost this chapter somewhere. it wasn't in the mag. i can't remember why but anyway this time it's here. among the usual shorties we got 2 bigger ones. one will have a own chapter and the other one will you find here. first the reaction by PAT/PARALYZE. it is about my question about the import- ance with memberstatuses that was in issue#8. -- -- -- just readin' #8, memberstatus-chapter. i've never really understood who is interseted in looking through their statuses. i only load these chapters in order to see whether our own status is in there or not. but normally - memberstatuses published in mags are always some weeks old, and of what use are they at all??? the only reason i can see why somebody would send you a PRO reaction for the member- statuses is that he wants to see his own group's status published - just as me. but apart from that, i wouldn't even put the statuses into the news-chapter but leave it away completely. surely: you'll have less blocks of text then... by the way, i also dont see the IMPORTANCE of news like this: "the rumours that XXX left YYY are wrong. XXX is STILL a member of ZZZ!!" WHO CARES? (except of xxx's contacts who know it anyway.) by the way, IOPOP, you've got humour!!! (but i don't pay a single sek for it, hehe(compliment!)) now lemme continue readin', don't waste my time! PAT/PARALYZE iopop: you are right, memberstatuses are just a way to waste away some blocks and make the mag bigger. i remember that a wise man in the scene once said to me that making a mag is not just filling up blocks of text. you are like me, you look through the memberstatuses just to see your own name and group! this time we don't have any memberstatuses. and that's because we don't have any free chapters for it and the other thing is that it's just a waste of blocks. well, now over to the usual shorties. - -- --- -- - oh, i just love this magazine! maybe it's becoz i'm a former jam member... i don't know... but issue#9 was really nice!i would like to see more "deep" articles by tchad, thank you! /TABASCO/FAIRLIGHT iopop: well, i don't know why you like jamaica that much(we are the best!) as i'm no doctor. but if you want you could try calling one and ask them. wonder what they would say?! anyway, if you are very lucky there might be a not so deep chapter about fractals written by TCHAD this time. sail ho iopop! great mag. i like it very much. of many mags around yours is one of my absolute favourites. issue nine was great. i liked the texts and especially the logo. one thing you could improve are the news. they are too old. anyway, jamaica is a cool mag, so keep on doing it. how do you like the amount of sheets i spread? hope you're lucky! ok pal, let me end this reaction, as no time! bye... yours, LEECH/COMIC PIRATES iopop: cool that you like our mag. well, yes the news are the major problem in this mag. always too old. i'm very pleased with the amount of sheets you spread. keep that up!! nice mag, maybe release it more often and keep it going! signed CELTIC/GENLOG iopop: well, if we tried to release it more often then i think the quality would decrease. and i like quality more then quantity! very nice mag, except the menu was a bit ugly i thought. lots of nice chapter though, and a good board chapter, too! how about having composer, coder & graphician charts? this mag definetly deserves to keep going. keep up the good effort guys! /DRE/BAD KARMA iopop: cool that you liked issue#7. i didn't! the best part of that issue was the board chapter. too bad TABASCO joined fairlight. as it was he who made that chapter. well, about the other charts, i believe that i have said this before but there won't be such charts in this mag. it's a very nice new votesheet you have got here! also the outfit is cool, and not to forget the text! keep up the good work. yours GIGABYTE/NO NAME iopop: couldn't you find out any other way to write this reaction? there was some space left on the backside. (he wrote it on the white parts of the logo) (hehe) cool you like our mag! in the news chapter you stated that i got kicked from slash... that's wrong! i left the suckers to join afl'70! if you remember who told you this lie then please inform me, thanx! /SPECTATOR/XENON/AFL'70 iopop: well, i don't remember who said that you were kicked. believe it was on one of the several votesheets lying around here in my room. but as you know i'm NO god! nice mag, also nice gfx. although i liked the logo you had in issue#7 more then the logo by frenchflair. but ofcoz that's a taste-matter. keep jamaica going, dudez. /SOUNX/CROSSLINE iopop: thanx! yes, the taste is indivi- dual. and that's good i think. jamaica is a cool little magazine! i like to read it but it could be quicker to be published. mega charts (for swappers especially.) are cool - do them! keep on doing jamaica. /GOP/SHAZAM iopop: nice reaction. well, i told about the speed thing some lines up. cool that you like your megacharts. yo jamaica staff! the new outfit of your mag is very nice. the text was also nice but it has abit short text. please write a bit more text and go on for much more issues! /THE ALIEN/BCD iopop: well, we try to do what we can and i believe we cannot make more. now a reaction about the country favies. please do NOT drop this cute chapter away to the graveyard! well, this is just my opinion, it's your mag and your choice to decide. /TOMMY BACKWOODS/PANIC iopop: well, it's up to the readers. if you want to have a country favies chart and if more people react and say that they like it then we might start with it again. this issue we got a the counrty favies from poland. -- -- -- now we close this chapter and open it up again when it's time to see what you like this issue. tell me what you like and what you don't like! it keeps me motivated. thanx for you attention!
