hello! bumboo is here with a new chapter
for jamaica called COVER REVIEWS.
i hope that you think it's interesting
to read my reviews of covers eventhough
they are a little old.
i hope that you, readers, will support
me with fresh covers so this chapter can
be cooler than other mags demo reviews
that contains demos that are so old that
everyone allready have it since weeks or
sometimes even months!
addy comes after the reviews.. i just
want to give some handshakes to:

scapegoat/topas, happymaker/reflex
code 18/trance, stormlord/wow/antic  and
slide/trinomic...

...for sending me the reviewed covers.

ok, the first reviewed cover EVER in
jamaica comming now:


cover by:  MR.FRIESE
cover for: HAPPYMAKER/INDIGENTS

on the frontside there is a happymaker-
logo which is not very advanced but it's
the best part on the whole cover!
you can also see a little indigents-logo
a disc and some more things on this side

on the backside there is a indigents-
logo, happymaker's addy, a piece-sign
and more..

overall i don't like this cover...
i'm sure that it's fun for happymaker to
use this cover when he spread his wares
but the cover is no beaty!

cover for: WOW

on the frontside you can see a logo
saying warriors of the wasteland.
this logo is ok!

but the backside is a big disapointment!
it shows some black and white area and
on the white area there is a text saying
beware for the arise of the hordes!
there's also some lines here which i
guess is for the addy!

overall the cover have to little action
and is not hard to draw.

cover for: INDIGENTS

the frontside shows a nice styled ind-
logo and a kind a strange man(alien?) in
a jungle. it's look really cool..

the backside look even coooooler!!
with a naked woman who is trapped in
plants. (it's also in the jungle, of
course!) you see the woman from the
backside and she looks realy realistic!
she have nice proportions, not those
gigantic tits dave used to draw...
behind the girl it's a little indigents-
logo drawn with small dots. also cool!

this cover is drawn like jean giraud
according to dave himself. according to
me this is one of the BEST covers EVER!!
i LOVE this cover! dave realy impressed
on me lately. one more cool thing with
this cover is that the flaps is drawn
with dots who fades away in an unregular
way, hard to describe but it looks cool
and fits perfect to this cover. so now
listen to my words and GET this cover if
you don't allready have it!


cover by:  SLIDE/TRINOMIC
cover for: TRINOMIC

this cover is made not only for trinomic
but also for their soon comming demo
called beer-factory according to slide,
but there is nothing on the cover that
make you think that.

ok. the frontside contains a trinomic-
logo, a small boozeline-logo and a weird
man. not very hard to draw but it's
quite much action so it's good anyway.

on the backside there is a tnc-logo that
i think is abit inspirated by sdi's
section 8-cover. (it's look like it
anyway...) you can see some alien-stuff
here too.

overall this cover is no beaty but as
slide have allmost no empty area the
cover have much action and i like that!


cover by:  DEATH/TOPAZ
cover for: TOPAZ

this cover is made for topaz' demo
called graveyard blues 3 and the front-
side shows a logo of the demo-name too.
upon this logo there is a topaz-logo in
typical death-style.

the backside is realy cool! showing a
girl washing(?) her hair in a waterfall.
this is, no doubt, the best side of this
cover. it's very particular designed.

overall this cover is nice drawn and is
good designed, but to be a piece of
master-art(like dave's cover) i think
death should have designed the frontside
better..


ok! that was the last reviewed cover but
before i give you my rankings of them i
would like to remind you that this is MY
taste and MY opinion of how a cover
should look.
