Domination 07 The Charts
From C64 Diskmag Wiki
--------------------------------------- * The Mail Charts * --------------------------------------- Welcome to the mail charts where i have collected the votes that YOU have given and compiled them into some an official chart for your pleasure. Kind regards fly out to the spreaders of the Domination votesheets. Its weird how charts vary in different magazines, some people complain on positions, whilst others argue with why a particular group/scener/product is voted in the end it all boils down to one thing, people just have different opinions. In this issue these opinions, are added to hopefully compile a 'fair' chart in everyone's opinion. I have also added my own comments after each catergory, enjoy.. General Editor * Top Cracking Group: * --------------------------------------- Pos: Group: Points: Last issue: #1 SUCCESS * TRC 1639 (2) #2 AVANTGARDE 1390 (1) #3 F4CG 1115 (4) #4 Chromance 1009 (5) #5 Alphaflight 1003 (2) #6 Fairlight 810 (10) #7 Motiv8 730 (11) #8 Laxity 704 (9) #9 Hitmen 496 (12) #10 Triad 392 (14) #11 Acrise & Excess 388 (6) #12 Tristar & Red Sector Inc 294 (-) #13 Atlantis 180 (8) #14 Xenon 169 (13) #15 Active 144 (15) --------------------------------------- Comments ------- Scs*Trc takes back the throne from Avantgarde with both groups switching places. Out of the two i am glad the voters voted for activity. F4cg makes another rise in it's quest to be number one. But with both Chromance and F4cg moving up places this pushes down favourites being Alphaflight. Fairlight seem to be rejuvinating themselves and Motiv8 have been one of the most active cracking groups lately, the reward being a movement of four places. Hitmen seem to climb with Acrise & Excess slipping down from six to eleven. The reason maybe being because last issue points were combined on the fusion between both Acrise & Excess. * Top Single Cracker: * --------------------------------------- Pos: Handle/Group: Points: Last issue: #1 JACK ALIEN/AVT 1426 (1) #2 BURGLAR/SCS+TRC 1059 (2) #3 CBA/TRC*SCS 960 (6) #4 Hain/F4cg 823 (4) #5 Ignorance/Afl 692 (3) #6 Didi/Laxity 529 (13) #7 Moren/Scs*Trc 504 (-) #8 DerbyShire Ram/Avt 496 (9) #9 Bacchus/Fairlight 392 (8) #10 Moonchild/Fairlight 337 (-) #11 Ream/Afl 302 (7) #12 Dodger/Avt 238 (10) #13 Playboy/F4cg 220 (-) #14 Lord Crucifer/Scs+Trc 119 (-) #15 Crossfire/Motiv8 65 (-) --------------------------------------- Comments ------- Jack Alien remains at the helm of the cracking field with Burglar always close behind. Cba done a nice jump from position six to three, playing probably the most active role in the whole Trc line up. Hain doesn't belong in the charts at all due to his immense activity, Didi however has been doing some fine mail cracks lately and rises from the 13th position to Six. Next comes Moren who mysteriously appears from out of no where to be on number seven. Polish scener Moonchild makes a debut along with other active sceners PlayBoy and Motiv8 leader, Crossfire. Infact Crossfire will probably rise more in next issue after recent activities. * Top Demo group: * --------------------------------------- Pos: Group: Points: Last Prod: L/p: #1 OXYRON 1460 4 years (2) #2 BYTERAPERS 1311 Extremes (4) #3 REFLEX 1249 Centric (1) #4 Ag*ny 928 -- (5) #5 Smash Designs 785 #6 Camelot 670 T.Power100% (3) Fairlight 670 Skaaneland (11) #7 Crest 659 Krestology 90% (8) #8 Nipson 480 #9 Triad 388 No Control (-) #10 Antic 381 #11 Profik 234 Ellenanyag (-) #12 Padua 220 Torture VI (15) #13 Beyond Force 195 A.O.S.3 (-) #14 Vermes 106 #15 Light 96 B.Comeback (-) --------------------------------------- Comments ------- Oxyron regain their top position taking it back from Reflex who have slipped back down to position three, Byterapers in the meantime move up from position four to two, still taking in rewards from their cool 'Extremes' Smash Designs debut at position five after a very consistant amount of releases, Crest also move up one more place and should make quite a leap after their new production 'Krestology'. Profik makes their first entry into Domination after two good demos. Camelot and Antic fall behind gradually due to inactivity. * Top Programmer: * --------------------------------------- Pos: Handle/Group: Points: Last issue: #1 QUISS/REFLEX 1116 (2) #2 MR.SEX/BYTERAPERS 864 (3) #3 AEG/SMASH DESIGNS 832 (4) #4 Fuben/Oxyron 774 (-) #5 Graham/Oxyron 740 (4) #6 Druid/Ag*ny 677 (6) #7 Slammer/Camelot 494 (1) #8 Raz/Camelot 396 (-) #9 Crossbow/Crest 374 (8) #10 Depeh/Antic 301 (14) #11 Kingfisher/Triad 284 (-) #12 Tron/Fairlight 273 (9) #13 Scroll/Megastyle 184 (-) #14 Guru/Reflex 105 (-) #15 Ed/Wrath Designs 98 (-) --------------------------------------- Comments ------- Quiss jumps from second to first, which was quite predictable after his 'Mathamatica' performance. Mr Sex also gains a position sitting behind him. The most impressive part of this chart is the debuts of Smash Design's coder Aeg and Oxyron's Fuben, who both have proved themselves in recent demos. Slammer takes a mighty tumble right from number one to number seven. But other Camelot talent, Raz debuts on position eight. Crossbow will likely rise after recent activities in Krestology and the soon coming 'Meet Crest' demo. Good to see another Reflex programmer make it to the charts, this time its Guru who squeezes in at number 15. * Top Graphicians: * --------------------------------------- Pos: Handle/Group: Points: Last issue: #1 CRUISE/TABOO 945 (1) #2 CREEPER/ANTIC 876 (2) #3 ASTAROTH/AG*NY/AVT 720 (7) #4 Rrr/Oxyron 714 (6) #5 Electric/Extend 592 (4) #6 Joe/Wrath Designs 563 (3) #7 Cupid/Avt 559 (8) #8 Dane/Triad 510 (14) #9 Biz Kid/Camelot 430 (-) #10 Pvt/Reflex 412 (-) #11 Compyx/Focus 320 (13) #12 Lord Red/Creators 180 (-) #13 Mirage/Focus 174 (-) #14 Hein Design/Focus 148 (10) #15 Deekay/Crest 112 (-) --------------------------------------- Comments ------- Cruise remains the best this edition and Creeper doesn't budge from his firm second position either. Astaroth performs a nice move from seven to three and this editions painter, RRR also leaps from six to four after recent issues of Relax and much Artwork in other productions such as Vandalism News and various intros. Dane, new member of Crest, seems to be doing well once again moving up six positions from the previous issue. Bizkid re-enters the chart after much work on his production, Skyhigh. Pvt/Reflex finally gets some recognition and debuts at position ten. Lastly Deekay makes an appearance and should rise due to recent quality art from him in the new Crest demo. * Top Musicians: * --------------------------------------- Pos: Name/Group: Points: Last Issue: #1 PVCF/REFLEX 1233 (3) #2 PRI/OXYRON/TIA 1090 (1) #3 SHOGOON/TABOO 841 (11) #4 Compod/Ag*ny 796 (7) #5 Fanta/Oxyron/Bass 750 (5) #6 Drax/Vibrants 744 (9) #7 Syndrom/Crest/Tia 645 (2) #8 Metal/Cml/Vibrants/Avt 494 (12) #9 Mitch/Crest 392 (-) #10 Zyron/Swemix/F4cg 374 (6) #11 Red Devil/Fairlight 310 (8) #12 Moog/Ag*ny 304 (10) #13 Mhd/Motiv8/Feniks 265 (-) #14 Laxity/Vibrants 109 (-) #15 Danko/Censor 59 (-) --------------------------------------- Comments: ------- German musician and main composer of Reflex, Pvcf leaps from three to one pushing normal favourite, Pri back to position two. Shogoon moves from a low eleven to number three and other Polsih composer Compod moves from seven to four. Drax is climbing once again, especially after recent music collections. Syndrom however falls from two to seven, but should climb once again soon. Mitch makes his debut on number nine after winning music entries at several parties, i imagine he will continue to climb also. Mhd debuts on position 13, which maybe unlucky but i think his quality will get him away from this number as time proceeds. * Top Mail Traders: * --------------------------------------- Pos: Name/Group: Points: Last issue: #1 SPERMBIRD/C/A + E 966 (2) #2 SPLATTERHEAD/SCS+TRC 894 (4) #3 INTRUDER/AVT 885 (1) #4 Dr Kaos/Reflex 740 (-) #5 DerbyShire Ram/Avt 537 (5) #6 Walker/F4cg 515 (8) #7 Calypso/Afl/Amnesia 469 (3) #8 Styx/Afl 455 (-) #9 Sebaloz/Lepsi/KeenAcid 410 (15) #10 Clive/Motiv8 268 (-) #11 Shuze/Afl 194 (9) #12 Starlight/Therapy 166 (11) #13 Violator/Afl/Replay 113 (-) #14 H-Bloxx/Scs+Trc/A + E 77 (13) #15 Scroll/Megastyle 65 (14) --------------------------------------- Comments ------- Swapping has slowed down quite a bit with several megaswappers halting their activities. Firstly Spermbird finally makes it to the number one after being on number two for two editions. Splatterhead also makes progress with retired trader Intruder slipping from one to three. Dr Kaos makes a huge debut on number four, and no wonder also as he'd have some nice demos to officially spread from his group Reflex. Styx from the Alphaflight posse also debuts at position eight with Sebaloz close behind him moving up from number 15. Violator also makes his debut in Domination at position 13 and should rise with a lot of inactive swappers gradually making their way out of the chart. * Top Disk Magazine: * --------------------------------------- Pos: Name/Group: Points: Last issue: #1 VANDALISM NEWS/[OD] 1237 (2) #2 RELAX/PHUTURE 1190 (5) #3 SKYHIGH/CAMELOT 1103 (1) #4 Propaganda 934 (4) #5 The Pulse/Shape 789 (6) #6 Nitro/Excess & Acrise 713 (3) #7 Mendip/Arcoss 506 (7) #8 Insider/Reflex 432 (13) #9 Driven/Style 301 (12) #10 Tribune/Angry 217 (10) #11 Rock 'n' role/Role 106 (-) #12 Grapevine/Tdr 86 (14) #13 Shout/Equinoxe 80 (8) #14 The Best 62 (-) #15 Revealed 55 (9) --------------------------------------- Comments ------- Well after a couple of editions of climbing Vandalism eventually makes it to number one and looks firm there also with their new issue out. Relax by Phuture makes yet another climb, this time from five to two. Skyhigh from Bizkid falls from its number one and Propaganda remains steady on number four. The Pulse as expected, continues it's crusade by moving up another place. Inactive Shout should not even recieve votes, but on the other hand Driven makes further progress leaping from position 12 to 10, i just hope the european c64 community gets to see this great mag as much as the Americans do. The Best debuts at number 14 and may climb depending on activity. Because Domination is a independant magazine, this allows any group, magazine or production to be included in the charts, with the exception of myself my own magazine and my group members and group. Feel free to place votes to your local Domination dealer or in email to me or one of the staff on any c64 bbs. Kind Regards; Jazzcat/ONSLAUGHT
