            "THE TIME AFTER"

                 PART 2

       written by PENTHAGON/ENIGMA

----------------------------------------
after publishing the first article about
'the time after' by CALT/GRAFFITY this
  article arrived in my mailbox...
it was written by PENTHAGON of ENIGMA.
  okay,let's go...

hey...scene lovers....

when i was reading issue #8 chapter
"the time after" i got shocked...
is the scene really going down that
  fast?!?
allright,i know there are too less
"full price" games and 1000 times more
  lame warez...
but the scene will survive this
  disaster...
if every lamer quits or has been
beaten up thru the elite, which guys
  should follow us?
yourself? i'd like the offer from the
  dominators...
but they just do it for themselves, and
since they don't have that much
releases lately,i don't get the point
  why they started this...
     back to "the time after"...
maybe after some time everyone will be
on amiga or pc.... but you don't find
the old times on these computers,so
all of you will get their beloved c64,
  and start programming again...
when ya finished something,ya send it
to your old pals, and when they're
still crying for help, they see the new
productions on the c64,so they will
also start on the 40 years old cbm 64,
and make some games (more than they do
nowadays!) which have the quality of
  amiga games (it's possible!!)...
the old software houses will buy the
  games and publish them...
system-3 will release "last ninja 13"
and psychnosis will release "shadow of
  the beast 6"...
     i don't see a stop on the 64...
  with less games,that's true,but utils
and demos will be made by hundreds of
people... the demos will get better...
  like demos from crest,blackmail,light,
                  house designs (ed.???)
  everyone had a dream:plasma,raytracer,
                       filled vectors,
                       zoomers...
  and these dreams came true!
  well,these were just some examples...
  which ones will appear soon:
  "dycp zoomer,600 sprites multiplexer,
   globe swing with plasma,hamm pictures
   with smooth dypp..."
well, only the future can bring us
  these things...
my reaction,if the scene dies,is that
i will never sell my beloved c64...
i will stay friends with alot of guys
and start trading on other machines...
maybe i'm 30 or what,i will look of
there can be held a party for all who
like to groove and tell the latest
rumours again... maybe it has started
  allready... the bonzai party was
goddamned cool,i heared... i hope to
meet such a party like this next year.
1250 people were there on that party.
cool! it's beginning of a revolution..
  yep...remember the old c64 till ya'll
be dead and burried... i'm getting
  depressed now...

a hard working 4 to keep the scene alive

----------------------------------------
really good article was that...
i think we can call us lucky, there is
  a machine like the amiga...
lots of new routines, like the vertical
rasters in the camelot demo, were first
  made on the amiga...
and i also think it's possible to make
  games with AMIGA quality...
okay, read more about the amiga in a
  chapter written by SLASH/BRUTAL...
