               "REACTIONS"

again a lot of reaction reached my mail-
  box this month,but i'm sorry that i
  didn't fix any of the things you were
  complaining about.

the reason why i didn't is very simple!

i'm allready working on a cool brandnew
  outfit!!
  i'm allmost finished with it and it
  will contain many more extras like:

               TEXT-HUNTER
                CHARFLASH
              AUTOSCROLLING

  and several other things...
  but ofcourse i will take all your
  reactions into account to make the
  other outfit as cool as possible!
  (not too cool ofcourse,because then
   there's nothing to react on!)

but lets start the reactions now...

nice mag,cool intro and funky main menu!
  but the loading time is LONG and it
  fills 2 sides!
  try to get it on 1 side!
  maybe PACKING the chapters would help?
  it is possible,look at CORRUPTION!

  you are not the only one that thinks
  it fills TOO MUCH space on the disk!!
  first i thought it wouldn't be a too
  big problem that it LOADS so SLOW,but
  you are right! it takes fucking much
  time to load!!!
  but as you can see there's in INTERUPT
  (IRQ)-LOADER in it so crunching is a
  bit harder than normally!!
  but i'll see what i can do and i think
  i can crunch the text in all the next
  issues!!

i think that your mag is one of the
  coolest mags i've ever seen. i think
  it'll get the best.
  my last issue didn't work properly:
  when i was reading the contact-corner
  it suddenly stopped and the newscorner
  but i think you'll correct this in the
  next issue.
  keep on doing such a nice work and it
  will be the best!

i don't really get what you try to tell
  me,but i think you were reading the
  contact-corner and suddenly was readin
  the news.
  i think i made a little error in where
  to text had to stop,i'm sorry and i
  hope it won't happen again,but i was
  under great time-pressure when i was
  finishing that issue in venlo!!

i think (and not only i) that your mag
  gets better and better with every new
  issue and i must say that i like it
  very much.
  not every mag looks like BRUTAL RECALL
  and that's good.
  the way of choosing chapters is also
  very cool but i think there is one
  thing which needs improvement.
  'the TEXT-SCROLLING' coz it's not very
  userfriendly to press the firebutton
  all the time while reading!
  maybe ya can make a new ICON on which
  you must click to get in the TEXT-MODE
  and if you want to choose another
  chapter ya must click one more time!
  i don't know if you like my idea but i
  think it'll be a good solution.
  hope to get nr.4 as soon as possible!

#1:i like da chapters,but sum (tips...)
   are useless...

#2:why don't ya code a routine 2 show
   when you have to turn the disk?

#3:the scrolling is too slow and you can
   improve da controling with 2 arrows
   to move the text!

#4:some print-routines!

and...in da intro of ISSUE #3 i saw a
  sprite bouncing with da text "ISSUE"

#1:maybe you think that TIPS are useless
   but some guys even send them,so there
   are surtenly some people interested!

#2:last time i didn't had the time to
   put a "TURN DISK"-routine in,but now
   i won't because it's the last time
   i will use this outfit!

#3:which scrolling is too slow?
   and how can you ever control 2 ARROWS
   with 1 JOYSTICK??
   will this really improve anything?

#4:like i allready answered in issue 3,
   i can't put a print-routine in,becoz
   i don't have a printer,so it's not
   possible for me to test it!

yes,there was a sprite bouncing saying
  "ISSUE 2",but this was because i had
  to finish it in a hurry and i didn't
  had the INTRO-EDITOR  with me!!

here is once more VIPER/REBELS with a
  reaction to your mag. i'm really glad
  to see that you took my advices and
  removed the few 'ERRORS' !!
  but let's come to another problem that
  your mag has !! it is TOO LONG !! now
  i also got issue #3 and again you did
  not CRUNCH the MAIN-FILE!! at issue #2
  i thought that you had no time or you
  just forgot it. but now you didn't do
  it again! but that won't make me ANGRY
  if the mag would only take 1 DISKSIDE.
  but yours take ONE and a HALF. so your
  mag LOOSES the USER-FRIENDLIES when i
  always have to turn the disk over when
  i want to read another chapter !! yes,
  i could read CHAPTER AFTER CHAPTER so
  that i only have to turn the disk
  ONCE! but who does this ?? so i think
  you should only use ONE SIDE.
  i think that wouldn't be hard if you
  install a TEXT-PACKER into your mag
  like MAMBA or CORRUPTION!! some of the
  chapters need more than 70 or 80
  blocks on disk! so i ask you, "is this
  necessary ??". i think not !!
  so i hope that you will take again my
  ADVICE and install a TEXT-PACKER !!
  and again i wanna remember that this
  text isn't ment BAD,it's just a HELP
  for you how you could IMPROVE you mag!
  so hope to hear soon from you !!

some of you have complained about the
  GRAPHIX and MUSIC for those who don't
  like the graphix: "i hope you like the
   graphix in the next issue better!"
  for those who didn't like the music:
  "i hope these tunes are better!"
  but MUSIC and GRAPHIX is something
  that has to do with TASTE and you can
  never satisfy everybody!!!
