THE BRUTAL PARTY + SCENE REPORTS

 +------------------------------------+

as you all might know, brutal had a
copy-party in denmark from the 26th to
the 29th of june. good or not, here
we present the most in-depth look on
what happened at the party and the
 things around it. enjoy, friends.

 +------------------------------------+

 first a little party report...

 well, goblin/light was supposed to
take over our job as the organizer of
a bus to the party. he couldn't. there
wasn't enough guys on the bus at
first, and it was very unsure if the
bus would leave. he raised the cost
from 500 skr to 650 skr. guess if
those who went by that bus was pissed.
so therefore me(morpheus) and the spy
decided to take the car instead. we
wanted to have jordan of antic and
creeper with us, but they had already
paid goblin and when they asked for
their money back, goblin said "forget
it!". i mean what the hell! he didn't
wanna give back their money. how lame!

but anyway, we took off at my place
and we drove almost all the way from
stockholm to gothenburg. just a few
stops. we really had fun, and i think
it was worth taking the car and pay
some extra money instead of taking the
 bus.

we took the ferry from gothenburg at
03.30 am and for us it took some extra
minutes of the ferry because we drank
like hell so we had to follow the
guards to a special place where they
keep drunken people. we had to stay
there until we were sober again. but
when we were on the way to hov, the
spy felt bad after all the drinking,
so i had to drive the car! shit man, i
don't even have a driving license. but
 everything went well.

we took the ferry from hov to sams0
and were off for the party. we arrived
around 15.00 hours, and our company
that went by the bus was already loc-
ated at the party. we unpacked our
bags and looked around the partyplace.
we met some old friends, took a beer,
looked at oldies, took another beer
and so on. there wasn't that much c64
guys when we arrived, but we sure
hoped that there would come more, and
it did so but that wasn't enough. all
in all there was too few c64 guys and
too many amiga guys... as always...

this was supposed to be the party of
the year, but i won't bet my money on
that. too many things was promised but
never realized. let's take the "big"
 screen for instance. the organizers
said the screen was 4x5 meters and yes
they didn't lie about that. but the
whole screen wasn't used! too fucking
sad. the area that was used, wasn't
bigger than a 20 inch tv.

well anyway, on the 28th we went out
to party at the local "disco". also
that was a disaster. but on the way we
met a girl which was very horny on
creeper, but he didn't care. me and
depeh walked up to the girl and asked
her if she wanted creeper, but she
just smiled so we took for granted
that she wanted him. depeh and i lead
creeper to the girl and left'em alone.
haha, creeper found out that the girl
 was only 12, t w e l v e years old!!
he just gave an old rose to her and
said "have a nice life", and since
then he's blaming us for all this. but
we laughed like hell, depeh and me!

anyway, we took a taxi to a bigger
place in ballen. more action, more
girls and more fun ! we met alot of
guys there, lotsa cool(!) amiga guys
and some local ones too. after a few
beers, i thought my eyes was totally
out of order when i saw two lesbians
 kissing eachother. nothing me against,
but they were around 16 years old!!!
but why not start when you are young??
hehehe! creeper was the no. 1 puke
master, jordan the no. 1 flummer, akay
the no. 1 give-away-cigarettes and me
and depeh were the no. 1 heart-break-
hotel. (fuck those bitches!) and the
spy was still at the party but he
 puked too.

we arrived at the party around 05.00
am after a little walk in tranebjerg.
we had lost exalt on the pub, and
later he told us that he slept on the
beach and when he woke up, everyone
was gone, so he walked to the party
(ca six kilometers) all by himself.
 t h a t was funny too.

well, now you might think i wrote too
much about the pub thing, but to be
honest with you, it was the highlight
of the trip to denmark! no will for a
boring copy-party when you can drink
 beer and have fun, right?

the really crewl thing this party had
was the game competition. it was a
game by camelot, where you wanked your
joystick left/right as fast as you
could. i finished at second place. i
was beaten by a guy in x-f by 00.53
seconds. man, that was hard. but i
got the best time though (02.04 min).

and at last, the thing everyone had
been waiting for, the competition !
 everyone was excited, because some
really nice demos would be released.
but as i said, the screen wasn't
bigger than a 20 inch tv. that was
the first shitty thing. when showing
 the compos, the organizers really
screwed things up. i really can't
tell you in detail, but the whole
compo was a disaster! no one left the
place happy, that's for sure! lamer
was a very used word under the compo.

but ok, after the compo everyone was
told that the prizes would n o t be
handed out to the winners. shit man!
that was really lame, but the reason
was that the organizers had made a
budget for 2.700 people to come, but
to be serious, will there come that
much people to a party on an island?
the answer is ofcourse no. so if they
would have given out money, they
would have gone minus. the only ones
that got their prizes was me (250 dkr)
 and censor (4.000 dkr).

you who thought you missed something,
think twice. i just hope there will
be a better christmas party. a little
bird whispered that x-factor will be
the c64 organizers, and i think they
 will do a great job!!

 that's it! read on!

 positive things :

 showers, there were actually no
 big problems with electricity and
things like that, the toilets, many
 cool guys.

 negative things :

 those moskitos really disturbed me,
too less people, the party did not
keep up to the promises written in
 the invitation, the competitions, no
prizes, too much amiga (as usual),
the "big" screen sucked badly and the
 organization in overall was bad.

 +------------------------------------+

we asked some guys present at the
party what they thought of it, and
 this is what they said:

 baze / illusion
 ---------------
"too many amiga guys & too few 64
 guys! good organization. entrance too
 expansive. no x-rated movies."

 anonym / padua
 --------------
"too few people, but lots of cool
 demos."

 ans / spirit
 ------------
"the lamest party ever. fuck picture
 screen!! bad organization."

 ego / oxyron
 ------------
 "slotmachines are missing. videoscreen
is not bigger than my tv. too few
people on 64. too few to booze. bad
sleeping facilities. food is too ex-
pensive up here. smokes are too ex-
 pensive."

 r.c.s. / legend
 ---------------
"yepp, too few 64. this party is for
sure no hit nor a failure, just a
normal party, with cool demo compe-
 titions."

 the elegance / enigma
 ---------------------
"the party is very bad organised. a
cleaning service is missing, food is
just too expensive. the 'big' screen
for the competitions semms to be a
pocket tv. anyway, who really cares?"

 dragon / censor
 ---------------
"kriss kross gonna make you jump!"

 bob/ censor
 -----------
"fly's, fuck, what a action. you got
 everything, action, live sex. anyway,
don't remember so much but it is
helluwa fun. psycho's show #1, criss
 cross jump and the retardets."

 drax / vibrants
 ---------------
"the party is good except for all the
 drunken swedes."

 olav m0rkrid and bj0rn r0st0en / pd
 -----------------------------------
"this party is the same as all the
others. too few friendly people (some
 nice guys, though!). hard competition
 in the democompo."

 pal / offence
 -------------
"farmland sux! there is quite a few
cool people here, to meet old friends,
have a nice chat and exchange ideas
and experiences is what a party is all
about - so cool as other parties."

 waco / light
 ------------
"mera sylt." (ed. - more jam)

 akay / sunrise
 --------------
"cheap beer, an ok pub, expensive
 cigarettes and a boring computer
 party."

 dep / stunt
 -----------
"bad arrangement (such as the tv etc).
 lame foodsales (no pizza!)."

 boogaloo / horizon
 ------------------
 "nice."

 incubus / antic
 ---------------
"it's quite cool apart from those
billions of flies disurbing the cool-
ness around. and i expected some more
 people to show up also."

 dense / hysteric
 ----------------
"well, what's nerving are those fuckin
flies. what's cool, what's hot: hot
wheels, no the party is okay, also the
 boozing and puking (psycho), smoking
is okay. the party is okay. get the
 fuck out (no x-rated movies)..."

 remember that these reactions about
the party was written before the big
 disaster, the demo compo!

       COMPUTER SCENE IN PAKISTAN
       COMPUTER SCENE IN PAKISTAN

 - darkwind / accuracy gives it to ya -

first of all, there are no groups in
pakistan. i don't know why but every-
one is too lazy to organize one. the
following computers sell the most in
 pakistan and are listed below:

 1) c64
 2) ibm
 3) amiga

c64 is the bestseller. there is no
copyright law in pakistan so shops
sell software openly which they im-
port, or they buy it from importers.

ofcourse there is no shortage of cod-
ers, graphixers etc but most of'em
work for computer shops or they have
no interest joining a group or they
 have no time.

very few demos are released here in
pakistan and i don't get my hands on
them. there is however a group in
sargodna where group members have a
joint bbs and they have modems and
many are members of compunet etc. i
lost their addy. cracking groups were
in pakistan a couple of years back but
all of them died as many guys left the
computer for studies etc. they didn't
release crax on the scene but they
just cracked and sold to get money to
 buy originals although they were
planning to do so before they died.

the best demo i've seen was a fuck
demo and it basically included many
scenes and was cool. i don't know who
 released it.

well, that's the scene in general.

         THE POLISH C64-SCENE
         THE POLISH C64-SCENE

     - rekin of asphyxia reports -

the first polish group was "quartet".
main coder in this group was polonus.
after some time he joined science 451
and then padua. quartet died in
 the late 1989.

at that time poland got a new group
called slaves of keyboard. it was a
typical cracker group, but they relea-
sed a megademo and one coop demo with
flash inc. after one year of existance
 this group also died.

in 1991 was the most important year in
the history of the polish c64-scene.
the best groups like parados, axel,
 asphyxia, skylight, level soldiers,
 deuter and axis was born.

now the polish scene is growing up
every day. in poland we have three
mags which is: highlife, penolama and
axel news. i think the scene in poland
will be bigger and the polish freaks
 will enter the charts soon.

the best coders in poland are :
 tq isl/parados, brush/elysium,
 polonus/padua, v-puke/asphyxia, rekin/
 asphyxia and gandalf/skylight.

 the best graphixers :
