self! (age, country, personal facts,
sparetime, other interests and so on)

- hmm, my name is stefan berglind and
i am 17 years old, i will be 18 in
december. i live in a cold country
called sweden and i'm about 175 cm
tall. right now i'm going in my third
(and last) year at high-school on a
technical education, so the school
takes lots of time for me. when i'm
not in school i usually spend my time
infront of my c64, coding or making
music. i can't say i practise any
sport, because i'm too lazy for that..

+ how did it all start?

- well, i bought my first c64 in 1988
and started making small basic-
programs. (as most guys did, eh?)
in 1989 i bought a discdrive, and
started to code in assembler. then a
friend of mine also bought a 64 and
we formed a group called "cccp". we
did some simple demo-parts, and as the
time went by i found out that there
were a thing called "the scene".
i found a few addys in a swedish com-
puter-mag, and contacted some guys.
this was how it all started..

+ when did you enter the scene, and in
which groups have ya been ?

- i entered the "real" scene in 1991,
and some months later i joined the
group megaunit. i stayed there for
about 1.5 years and produced some
legendary tools... around christmas
1992/1993 i joined gothic design, and
in march/april i joined proxyon as a
second-group.

+ what is your memberstatus and job in
your current group ?

- well, i do lots of things in gothic/
proxyon.. i am mainly coder, but i've
also started to make musics. i have
at the moment 35 contacts, but i think
i'll increase that number. (contact me
if you want a nice swaptime! my addy
should be in addy-chapter.) when
static left the scene he turned over
the leadership to me, so now i'm also
the leader in gothic design..
oops! i mustn't forget to say that i
also am the new main-editor in our
mag: "moonlight"!

+ how did you get your handle ?
please tell us the story!

- the story doesn't make much sense,
but it goes like this:
first i called myself "zodah",but when
i did a 'turning' scroll i saw "doz"
which became my new handle for a while
later on i started spelling it with
a "x" instead, which later on became
"doxx"! amusing story, eh?

- well, i must mention cyke/megaunit,
arcon/triad, hype/liquid, starlight/
extacy, pete/acrise and orson/???

+ well that was the faves, and among 'em
was favourite friends.
what about dudes you hate/dislike in
the scene. ?
if you got some please tell us who -
and why you don't like them !

- noo, ofcourse there are some people
that are acting arrogant and so, but
i don't want to start any new quarrels
in this scene. everyone should try to
keep the friendship in the scene, so
it survives some years more!

+ what is your plans for the future ?
both in the scene and in private !

- well, in the scene i'll do some more
issues of moonlight, finish my second
music-collection and maybe code some
demo-parts..
in real life i'll try to live through
my last year in school, and them maybe
try to get in on an university.

+ when the c64 dies(hopefylly many years
from now !!!!) what will you do then ?
jump to the (l)amiga or pc. ?
or simply quit the whole compy-scene?

- i'd probably quit the whole computer-
scene, or go into the pc-scene.
i don't think the amiga will survive
another 4-5 years, but the pc is
spread and used all over the world.

+ please tell me what a lamer is in your
opinion ?

- well, i don't usually call people
lamers,but when someone do something
really stupid, like lying and talking
shit about other people, then i'd
consider him as a lamer.

+ about your contacts
-------------------

+ do ya have a lot of contacts ?
(how many - name a few.)

- i don't have that many contacts, only
30-35. a few i could mention are:
d'ram, bizarre, starlight, woise,
arcon, amarok, brix (what's up?) and
ofcourse my dear leader in proxyon:
gorefest.. those are the most famous
ones, i think.

+ do you prefer legal stuff or cracks
or mayby both from your contacts.

- i prefer legal for sure! i get kind
of depressed when i receive the same
budget-shit-games for the 10'th time!

+ do you use cheated stamps ?

- yep! my wallet is always empty, so i
have to..

+ about demos : do ya like 'em ?
is there to many or to few ?

- is there any person that dislike
demos? they are the most important
thing in this scene, i think.
ofcourse you get some real shit-demos
for time to time, but remember that
everyone has been a beginner!

+ and the same for mags ?

- well, in general i like everything
that keeps this scene alive, but there
are some mags that really doesn't make
anyone happy..

+ if you had the opportunity to build up
a new group - which persons would you
like to join ?

- as coders: bob,crossbow,zodiac,tts
walt,yup,d'arc!

as musicians: dos,cane,drax,xayne,
a-man,danko,bappalander!

as grafixers: electric,joe,creeper,
ogami,hein,gotcha!

this would be the ultimate demo-group,
in my oppinion..

- i just want to tell you guys out there
one thing: try to be as friendly as
possible to other sceners. this cult-
scene is based on friendship and
brotherhood, so don't destroy it!!
some time in the future will we all
look back on these days with smile on
our faces, remembering what a great
time we had while doing that little
routine/music/picture and sending all
those letter around the globe!
