here is 10 reasons why you should get
rid of your computer immediately!!!

what the hell! here we are,having a good
time - we thought!!!
as a lot of other people i have been
walking around for years believing that
the computer was an amazing tool for
both serious work and gameplaying..
well nothing could bemore wrong.. now i
know.. - man have i been naive!!! -

your computer is dangerous - fucking
dangerous!!. actually i think that the
computer is the most dangerous threat
confronting mankind nowadays.
-well i know.. coz i have been following
the public debate in the papers :

1. your health is cracking

they are comming from the screen. the
dangerous and invisible deathbeams which
gives you both cancer, red eyes and dry
skin.furthermore it damages your unborn
baby (if you are a lady ofcoz).anyway
you are getting pale, your are having
unclean skin and pimples..
but dont you now think you can save your
ass by turning off the monitor or cove-
ring it with a towel.. coz you have to
remember the keyboard - it is just as
dangerous.the wise men calls it - rsi -
'repetitive strain injury'.-this means
you looses the possibility to move your
wrist.your nails are breaking and your
neck gets stiff; your back hurts & gets
damaged,and you will walk like a cripple
for the rest of your life..
ofcoz you can sue commodore; but that
problably won't help shit.with a little
luck you can get disablement pension a
little earlier than normal..

2. you get epilepsy

when you use your computer & especially
by playing computergames your brain are
put out for a lot of strained visual
impressions.many moving characters and
flashing lights together with snap eye-
movements. all things that can cause
epilepsy.
lots of children in japan and england
has been attacked by epilepsy while play
ing games. the situation is alarming and
the authorities has demanded an investi-
gation.the doctors belive that specially
red flashing lights (explosions) can be
the reason.
the japanes child doctor yasufumi maeda
has investigated dozens of epileptic
children.he says to the american news-
agency ap : the best way to protect your
self from getting epilepsy is to stop
playing computergames.
in michigan,usa a 20 year old women has
sued nintendo for 2.6 million dollars
for an epileptic attack she got while
playing 'super mario bros'.
now nintendo and sega has started to put
small stickers on the games warning
against epilepsy..

3. you get aggresive

almost all computergames has following
gameplay : destroy - crush - kill!!!
whether you shoot down a spaceship,kick
down a kungfu ninjutsu ninja warrior or
or blow up a lemming the pixel-blood is
floating....
trough karategames the youth are getting
precise and exact information how to per
form the deadly kicks and punches.
the expanding (and tragic) situation on
violence and beat ups can without doubt
be connected to the increasing consump-
tion on computer-games.
the games directly encourage to war and
violence; and the people who plays these
games are getting raw and violent.
without a doubt...

4. you get schizophrenic

in lots of computer-games (and specially
the socalled role-games) the player
identify himself very strongly to the
character he is leading.
if no-one stops him or her and the play-
ing continues this identification will
get stronger and stronger.it gets so
strong that the player in the end will
develop a new personality..
the old story 'dr.jekyll & mr.hyde' once
more takes place.
the limits between fantasy and reality
will fade away; and the role character
will get 'as real as' the players perso-
nality..
-and even worse : this computergame cre-
ated schizophrenia can lead to tragic
episodes for others than the role-player
an example : if his role-character is a
barbaric axekiller it will not require
much fantasy (pardon the expression) to
figure out what could happend to his
innocent family,friends or pets..

5. you'll go to hell

the wise men do still not agree whether
your computer can be possessed by evil
powers or not.compared to the problems
with computervirus it might be possible
that demons can possess your computer -
and at last possess you.. - but as told
above : there is different opinions on
the subject.
on the other hand there is a reasonable
reason to take good care of the numerous
computergames with occult creatures.
witches, vampyres, demons ..... it is
dangerous even to think on such things.
important members of religious organiza-
tions have several times warned aginst
these blasphemous games -but little does
it help.
most players refuse to belive that a gam
like 'ultima' is the same as an invita-
tion to the dark powers.
-some times it helps to put a crucifix
around your neck and garlic on your moni
tor ..... but even then you can not be
absolutely sure.........

6. you get lonely

no other device has been the reason for
so many splitted families.
as soon as the computer get into the
house the alianation begins.the children
loose all interest in their friends and
turns to the computer.they forget all
about both family, school and friends.
instead of their earlier healty interest
like playing football (not computer but
real football !) delivering newspapers
and fishing,they now lock up in their
rooms with the computer..
families without children shouldn't feel
safe. typically it is the male who can't
recist it.he buys one and sit the entire
night working (or playing games) while
his wife is in bed;getting no sex.

behind every man (except computerowners)
there is a woman.

behind every divorce there is a computer

7. you will go bankrupt

as other catastrophees it starts in the
innocent.in the small. - a computer, a
monitor and myby a joystick.
but you are now caught,and slowly you
looses control.
you need more memory. a printer. disks.
a hard-disk. a sampler. more disks. a
new joystick. computermagazines. even
more disks......
the money
you are short of money and buy all the
equipment on hire-purchase system.
all your money goes to the computer and
to the local power station.
all other bills are thrown in the corner
the bailiff knocks on your door. your
phone is shut down. the bailiff knocks
again. first goes the car,then the house
but you can live with that..
you do first feel poor as they takes
away your computer..

8. you get criminal

as mentioned i 'chapter 7.' any computer
owner needs money. a lot of money, and
even more money. but that's not the only
reason why computer owners get dragged
into crime. the computerscene is full of
suspecious persons,and the purchase of a
computer is the direct way into crime.
i might start with a 'friend' offering
you a disk with cracked game. but it is
with piratcopies like it is with drugs :
say no the first time or you are trapped
-as soon as you have started to copy
cracked games you want more something
stronger.
you starts to sell cracked games. then
you hack your way into other computers
and start to 'steal' free phonecalls.

now it is only a matter of time before
you get caught by the police.

9. you get mental disturbed

programming.i begins with you trying to
learn the computers 'langue', but it end
with forgetting your own. you're getting
good at communicating with computers,but
forgets all about communicating with
living creatures.
the world outside dosen't mean anything
to you anymore. - you live in a world
where all communication is computercode,
a kind of 'cyberspace'. if your mother
ask you if you have brushed your teeth
(which you haven't..) you answer :

and if a cute girly invites you to the
cinema you try to impress her by saying:

yo,i code megademos with realtime calcu-
lated glenzvectorlandscapes in the side-
border with 324 colour interlaced fli-

10. you get a image-problem

of all the problems the computer causes
this might be the worst.
from the moment your surroundings dis-
cover you have a computer they'll label
you.
other people will now see you as a sick,
agressiv, schizophrenic, demonic, lonely
bankrupt criminal who's mental disturbed

so better get rid of your computer today
tomorrow it might be to late.....
