MOTIV8 still cruise the Internet as the
most efficient public relations machine
there is. No other group is more effec-
tive in distribute news, happenings and
occurences within the group, be it of
interest for everybody or not. However,
releasewise, MOTIV8 is not the same
dangerous competitor, and with a weak
support on the American boards, they
still do not succeed completely in
marketing themselves at the firstre-
leasingtop.

A
ANOTHER "POLANDIZED" GROUP
__________________________
CROSSFIRE proudly announced the opening
towards the easterneuropean country in
MOTIV8. With a new Polish section up and
running, one could think MOTIV8 was in-
tending to take part of the competitive
crackingbusiness, but fact is the sect-
ion was set up on the productive level
with coders, musicians and artists. It
was a slightly surprising turn, with
most other groups heading the other
direction.

THE NET HAS TAKEN OVER

Boardwise, MOTIV8 still consult GREGO

and his IN LIVING COLOR, long gone fame
from the ILLUSION days. Sadly enough,
very few phonecalls to the system tend
to be from MOTIV8. Furthermore, they
announced taking back the Danish board
MOUNT OLYMPUS with pride and joy, but
the board has not made much noise since.
Instead, the amount of people in MOTIV8
connecting up to the Internet is im-
pressive. Immense activities in terms
of marketing, and also sharing the pop-
ular INTERPARK with F4CG. CROSSFIRE
was a point fearing he'd lose his access
to the Internet for various reasons, but
recently realized the account is still
up and running. GREENFROG, German member
has also set up a MOTIV8 homepage, with
lots of nittygritty-surprises jammed
into it.

RUMOURED COOPERATION
____________________
During 1996, MOTIV8 and PADUA are
hoasting the 64-organization of a party
taking place in Berlin, Germany. Acc-
ording to CROSSFIRE, the fact that the
two groups were involved in the organ-
ization led to rumours and speculations
on a possible coopearation. PADUA being
a demogroup, MOTIV8 a crackinggroup, it
is a very improbable happening, bene-
fiting no parts in general.
However, news about the party, that
seems quite interesting will be avail-
able soon the drives, the net and on
mail.

ONSLAUGHT have been doing well the past
few months. Not only releasewise, but
they have also stabilized a great deal
in terms of their members, who were in
the public spotlight just recently. Fur-
thermore, the group has gone nationwide
in a massive crunch against PROPAGANDA
and people thinking likewise. Titled as
a soapopera in PROPAGANDA 19, ONSLAUGHT
felt treated unfairly. We will leave it
to your wise decision whether it was
or not. Hazzles with members in public
are always soaps in our eyes.

CLEANING UP
___________
A wide section of people saw themselves
being dismissed from the ONSLAUGHTstaff.
THE MINISTRY were removed, as was JOY-
RIDE, sysop of the Swedish board HIGH-
WAY. JOYRIDE has shown a tremendously
weak interest in his board and the scene
for quite some time, which probalby tri-
ggered the dismissal. Also LA STYLE and
KBS were removed simultaneously for the
same reasons. According to VENGEANCE,
head of Australian based ONSLAUGHT,
the members involved in the dismissals
had been on a hitlist for quite some
time. THE MINISTRY were amused with the
sitation caused by PROPAGANDA and
ONSLAUGHT and titled the debate as

ONSOAP, thus not by PROPAGANDA. A lot
of the discussion has taken place on
WARE'S AQUARIUM, but has now faded away.

RECRUITING TALENTS
__________________
Stabilizing the situation in ONSLAUGHT
a few more names were added to the
staff. Turkish group ACCURANCY, who
have made some smaller visits in the
waresworld previously were added, with
with talents in cracking, swapping,
coding, painting and more. ACCURANCY is
also involved in the production of
certain software-titles. CODE18,
swapper and frequent visitor of the
Internet came on, and made his pre-
sense clear quite quickly.

SURPRISINGLY STRONG RELEASE
___________________________
What may appear as a surprise for many,
ONSLAUGHT actually firstreleased the
much hyped game FRED'S BACK 4 from
COSMOS DESIGNS. Being a German game
(CP VERLAG), where strong names like
AVANTGARDE and ALPHA FLIGHT, one would
think that was the definate bet, while
ONSLAUGHT proudly presented a 1OO%
working and fixed version in front of
everybody's surprised eyes.

VENGEANCE LEAVES MEGASTYLE
__________________________
With yet an increasing effort put into
ONSLAUGHT, VENGEANCE decided to leave

MEGASTYLE PRODUCTIONS and his duties
within the Norweigan group. ONSLAUGHT
is expanding immensly on all fronts,
also considering ONSLAUGHT DESIGNS and
their new, Australian based gamelabel.

PLEASING PACE OF MAGAZINES
__________________________
VANDALISM has been released at an im-
pressive pace. Gaining popularity
throughout the scene, we can be pos-
itive the magazine will continue in
the same manner. Also independant
magazine DOMINATION, edited by JAZZCAT
seems to be heading back on track with
an splendid edition out on the shelves.

So Summer is over, you could hear the
Dutch giggle. Even though their summer
was incredibly long, late October seemed
to set them back at a pace that kills
where releases, boards and the Internet
have been poured into i giant, well-
spiced pot of TRC*SCS-magic. Even though
miles from as legendary as the fine old
IKARI+TALENT or STRIKE FORCE+MOVERS
cooperations, the Dutch must be credited
for their long service together. Who
could have thought the two groups would
grow so fond of each other in the end?

COUNT ZERO RETURNS IN TRC*SCS!
______________________________
Returning to the scene and doing so
in the Dutchbased cooperation came as
a shock to many. His comeback effort,
being EROTICA from CYBERTECH LABS was
just a start (and featured a wonderful
intro by MR.SEX/[B], by the way!).
COUNT ZERO has since his return been
spotted frequently on the IRC(Internet)
and once even managed bringing along
his old friend BENSON/EX.RED SECTOR
to the channel. COUNT ZERO will be a
valuable addition considering his ab-
ilities to fix. This leaves TRC*SCS
at a very strong staff, with already
known names in cracking AND fixing.

DIGITAL DUNGEON ON A NEW ADDRESS
________________________________
The most popular 64-FTP, scenewise has
been going through some problems lately.
The netadministrator was apperently not
pleased having pirated sofware aboard,
which may appear stupid, considering
we are just talking about a poor old
8-bit-computer. However, TRC*SCS were
forced to decline and did so moving the
FTP to a new address. DIGITAL DUNGEON
is still maintained by BURGLAR and
CBA, with help from others.

THE DUNGEON FORMATTED AGAIN
___________________________
At some mysterious level, the Dutch

cooperation have gathered some very
childish enemies. Several times, their
headquarter THE DUNGEON has been for-
matted, and just recently with a
mindboggling message about "TRC*SCS
MESSING WITH THE WRONG PEOPLE". The
situation was tense for a while, but
THE ALCHEMIST was quick to reopen the
board. [FOOTNOTE]: THE DUNGEON IS
CURRENTLY DOWN FOR OTHER REASONS.
