Regarding the actual years the flight
has put into the computerindustry, it
is fascinating it is still a label to
count on. Not that the original members
are actually taking part, but fact is
a lot of the people still have been
around for ages. ALPHA FLIGHT has kept
a rather anonymous profile recently,
even though maintaining a good pace on
the releasinglevel, letting the games
speak for themselves. With both their
boards back online, it seems ALPHA
FLIGHT have stated to continue further.

ALPHA FLIGHT MARCHES IN THE ARMY
________________________________
IGNORANCE and MARC were told to be head-
ing for the army, something that upset
a wide section of people. However, it
was SKINHEAD, recently involved in
terrible quarrels with CHOITARE, also
in the same group, who vanished over
a period of time, serving time as a
German soldier. Not long ago, it was
however announced, that SKINHEAD had
found a way out of the military system,
and would be continuing his efforts do-
ing civil service. With that in mind,
he will still be able to keep track of
the flight and his activities thereby.
Both IGNORANCE and MARC have continued
their efforts on the scene, in the case

of IGNORANCE being some of the most
impressive we have seen this year.

DISCUSSING THE LEADERSHIP
_________________________
The fact that plenty of the people from
ALPHA FLIGHT seem to have been, or are
right now heading for the army, has left
room for discussion concerning the
leadership. Public people have pointed
out STYX as an appropriate assistant
on the case, and the Dutch swapper is
actually taking care of a great deal
in the group as it is. Whether this is
just temporary or just for the time
being, time will tell. ALPHA FLIGHT
have a lot of obvious names that come
in handy in terms of organizing, and it
seems improbable that MARC, MAX and

SKINHEAD will remain on a leanback
focus.

OLD SYSTEMS REOPENED
____________________
ALPHA FLIGHT still show great interest
in the American boards, not really hav-
ing adapted to the Internet like so many
others. POLPOT, proud sysop of HOLIDAY
INN CAMBODIA announced a reopening, a
fact that was warmly welcomed by people
who have longed for the board since its
decline. THE EVIL ISLAND, that was
brought up in the same area as long gone
FORPLAY, was also a pleasant return.
It may also trigger a boost for the
group with THE ANCIENT MARINER being
a friendly and appreciated sysop.
Good boards, and especially ones with a

past haven't been the most urgent issue
during 1995, and with the old systems
back online, it may seem both ALPHA
FLIGHT as well as other callers are
looking at a slowly recovering market.

ANOTHER YANK JOINS THE FLIGHT
_____________________________
ALPHA FLIGHT also took the chance to
reinforce an American profile, from a
group with an impressive past. THE
MERCENARY from EMPIRE, has not made
himself a name for fixing, but for
being a regular caller, and brother
of BOOZE/EMPIRE. We gather THE MERC-
ENARY will not be fixing for the flight,
but functioning as public relation-
profile - at least so far.

RELEASES, RERELEASES AND FUZZES
_______________________________
Over a period of time, the flight has
been involved in some minor fuzzes ab-
out release. BATTLE OF THURN from CP
VERLAG was issue of a discussion, F4CG
putting out a properly translated ver-
sion, unlike their German based friends.
Also the preview of BALLZ, stated as a
fullprice game came into the spotlight.
F4CG uploaded their 5O%-version, while
ALPHA FLIGHT came out earlier with their
9O%-version. Also they released a 1OO%-
version of THE WORM(MAGNA MEDIA), even
though the accurate firstrelases all-
ready had been performed by F4CG+AVT.
Thus, the releasecharts will speak.

UNCLEAR ABOUT BLAZE
___________________
Swapping BLAZE has caused a slightly
mysterious angle to the happenings. It
was announced quite recently on the
boards that BLAZE would be entering
CHROMANCE, a group that has shown it-
self on the offensive side the past few
months. However, it appears to be a
rumour with little truth behind it.

Many feared that AVANTGARDE would find
itself on a decline with organzing DEFF
moving to Berlin for a very potential
job at BMG/ARIOLA. After some trembling
weeks, where AVANTGARDE chose to keep
a rather low profile, intensity was
back at the top, with the releases and
with DEFF back behind the steering wheel
again. After what appeared to be a very
successful meeting at JACK ALIEN'S place
it is also clear, that gangsters exp-
erienced quite a boost (despite the
hangovers, that might be!) in terms of
intensity.

FIXERS COMPUTER TRASHED
_______________________
The popular hotshot fixer of the year,
SUCICIDE has gone through a tragedy with
his American 64 failing to work. The
setback meant that JACK ALIEN, also fix-
ing for AVANTGARDE increased hit burden
and efforts. Up to now, the tragedy has
not been noticed, with JACK ALIEN work-
ing fulltime on titles and intros. A new
American computer has been ordered
through THE ULTIMATE HACKER leaving room
for SUICIDE to get back in full effect.

ASPECTS ON "THE COOPERATION"
____________________________
During autumn 1995, AVANTGARDE has been

seen ocasionally working with F4CG. It
was not long ago, the rumours circul-
ated widely on the scene, concering a
fulltime cooperation. That was however
never the issue according to DEFF,
NEWSCOPY and SOLAR. Today, a very clear
line of work has been confirmed, where
AVANTGARDE will be fixing some of the
bigger titles for F4CG. THE WORM,
VALDIGAR SWORD and just recently PINZ
are titles among others to appear from
the two sistergroups. Points are to be
shared in between, as guidelines were
set up for the brotherhood.

CRACKING FORCE AVANTGARDE IN A DEMO
___________________________________
The notorious AVANTGARDE meeting re-
sulted in a joyful demo, in fact the

first ever to appear from the team.
With a steady reinforcement of skill-
ful names like DRUID, also a member of
the popular AGONY. METAL from VIBRANTS
was one of the big surprises to be
announced on the productive side of
AVANTGARDE. METAL has been spotted
frequently on the IRC (INTERNET), and
unlike the public opinion, was not away
from the scene. The stomping march of
people entering AVANTGARDE, leaves room
for a speculation of a coming demo from
the group. Plenty of groups from the
crackingarea have picked up the trend
to work on a more creative level, and
it would be mysterious if not AVANTGARDE
chose to do the same. In the meantime,
we will simply have to smile, as their
intros get slimmer and sexier than ever.

DREAMPARK ON A NEW NUMBER
_________________________
DREAMPARK, currently the most popular
board in the world, was down shortly,
with sysop CYBORG moving houses. The
board, shared between AVANTGARDE and
F4CG has since the numberchange picked
up its previous popularity. DEFF, the
ideal support, spent hours uploading
the software being missed during the
few days the system was actually down.
AVANTGARDE still claims the throne as
the most successful crackinggroup in
the scene, still not having any activity
on the internet, remaining on the US
boards. Old habits die hard, someone
said, and AVANTGARDE might agree.

ADDICT BECOMES JOURNALIST
_________________________
Immensly active swapper INTRUDER has
increased his duties on the market.
Previously involved in distribution
for AVANTGARDE and PROPAGANDA, the
German addict will in the future also
work on a journalistic level. With
WALKER/F4CG heading for the army in
January 1996, INTRUDER will be taking
care of the mailcharts, votesheets and
likewise, keeping up a popular chapter
in this magazine. For the public, IN-
TRUDER is known for his admirable in-
terest in the 64 , and we are con-
fident the job will be professionally
done.

What appears to be the most anonymous
group in the world, is heading for one
of their strongest eras in existance,
and that in itself, is an astoningshly
admirable effort. No other group is so
difficult and challenging to cover,
where only the releases really speak
of the happenings in the group. It is
however clear that the Hungarian based
team has adapted slightly to the market
with an increased staff, suggesting
hitpotential for a long time to come.
Hungary has become a very evident market
where CHROMANCE stand on frontrow.

VETERAN ORGANIZER BOOSTS ENERGY
_______________________________
CHROMANCE have over the years suffered
from a common desease; members heading
for the army. With MR.WAX, head of CHRO-
MANCE gone, the group was at times left
ungarded. Today MR.WAX appears to be
rocking the boat in full effect, and
with that the releases round up for an
intense phase. Also a great deal of
people have signed up under the label,
taking of a heavy burden for the other
members.

POLAND'S UPPER CLASS
____________________
Much acclaimed cracker TECHNO from

Poland was a surprising reinforcment.
With a past in GENESIS*PROJECT and
TRC*SCS, it came much as a shock when
it was announced he had signed up for
CHROMANCE. The event will leave room
for some interesting Polish releases,
a very important market, but also with
TECHNO working for CYBERTECH LABS, a
productive gamelabel.

Unlike other magazine write, F4CG has
been on a very productive side. Overall
it appears the traditional autumnrush
entered the group, resulting with an
impressive amount of releases. With
headsupplying SOLAR, MAJA and NEWSCOPY
in an effective stunt of providing,
the situation seems very stabilized and
back on traditional grounds, unlike the
quite silent months around SCOPE'S
tragical departure. "I AM RELIEVED
THINGS ARE FINALLY GOING SO WELL",
sighs a pleased MAJA to PROPAGANDA.

INTERPARK IN DANGER!
____________________
Being the most biggest represented group
on the Internet, it came naturally for
F4CG to set up an FTP. INTERPARK, locat-
ed in Italy and maintained by PLAYBOY
has just recently been involved in some
very alarming signs to worry. The net-
administrator has directed a strong sk-
epsis towards the FTP, and is consider-
ing to close it down. Apart from DIGITAL
DUNGEON (TRC*SCS), INTERPARK is the
biggest FTP, and it would be a tragedy
for the netscene having to let it go.
PLAYBOY was quick to arrange a group-
mail advicing people to harrass the man-
ager with mail to change the decision.

WORKING WITH AVANTGARDE
_______________________
Even though not in cooperation, F4CG has
developed a relationship with AVANTGARDE
in terms of fixing. CEREBUS, the Aust-
ralian fixer who removed the "PAL-ONLY"-
stamp from F4CG unfortunately had to
continue with an increasing pile of
studies, and STABILIZER who proved very
promising at one point was removed due
to lacking reliablity as well as capa-
bility.

BACK ON TRACK

Support on DREAMPARK has been slightly
vague from the staff of F4CG over a
period of time. Following the trend,
the group has adapted quickly to the
new net-generation. Be it good or not.
However, it is still at the boards where
the very heart pumps, and where the
group will remain.

THE INEVITABLE ARMY
___________________
Swedish WALKER has since some months
back been organizing the distribution
in F4CG. Leaving for the army on January
16th, it was evident a hold had to be
filled. MAJA, Polish swapper and org-
anizer was quick to act, reinforcing a
reliable megaswapper named CHASH. The
new member will be involved in F4CG on
a trial basis only, to match the expect-
ations from a demanding staff. NEOTEC
and DRAZ will continue on the same level
as before. All contacts in official
trade with WALKER will be taken over
by SIXX/F4CG, previously known as GOT/
EX.GENESIS*PROJECT.

RELASING FUZZ WITH ALPHA FLIGHT
_______________________________
The widely discussed game BATTLE OF
THURN was brilliantly cracked and tran-
slated by talent SNEAPER. However, after
much hesitation, F4CG had to be set a-
side as it came clear ALPHA FLIGHT did
come up with the firstrelease earlier.
BATTLE OF THURN triggered more releases
to cause minor confusion, with CHROMANCE
releasing yet another preview of BOUNCY
BALLS, released by F4CG in Janurary'95.
Also THE WORM, from MAGNA MEDIA app-
eared in a second version from ALPHA
FLIGHT claiming to be the 1OO%-version.
That was however, never the issue.

ROTATION ON STAFF
_________________
PLAYBOY who has been a very active pro-
file in F4CG during 1995 is considering
moving to Romania during a 6-month per-
iod. With a potential DJ-career it comes
naturally for the Italian, though mem-
bers worry slightly about his future
in cracking as well as the popular
INTERPARK. BITMAN, also Italian, is how-
ever back since the hazzles with hacking
accounts on the Internet and may be the
appropriate coverage for a missing PLAY-
BOY. MOTLEY, Swedish hacker and cracker
also increased his activities, and will
be picking up cracking when needed.

SWEDES GATHERING UP?
____________________
Most of F4CG Swedish division is today
situated in Gothenburg. Only MOTLEY,
WALKER and DECODER are located in capi-
tal Stockholm. At current time MOTLEY
is sincerly considering moving, while
WALKER may be doing the same after serv-
ing his armyduties. Being in the same
group, but also due to other increasing
activities in sections, we may see the
entire F4CG SWEDEN-squad located at the
same spot in a time nearby.

HARDCORE came on as a promising force
and seems to have come out quite dam-
aged from the divorce with ONSLAUGHT.
It is very unfortunate, but it is obv-
sious that ONSLAUGHT was the energetic
factor of the two during the cooper-
ation. Even though some brave attempts
have been made, the group has failed
to deliver. I consider it tragically
sad, with so many interesting profiles
and members taking part of the HARDCORE
organization. With a new year just
around the corner, I hope there is still
room for intensity.

DISAPPOINTING FALL OF 1995
__________________________
Being fairly silent around HARDCORE
since the release of SILVAPOD, that was
fixed by AVANTGARDE, they did try to
re-establish themselves as a label to
count on previously. The critically
acclaimed game FRED'S BACK 4 (CP VERLAG)
was launched with much hype, while it
was surprisingly enough ONSLAUGHT who
had gotten their hands on the valuable
firstrelease at an earlier stage. With
a rerelease up and itching on the rep-
utation, HARDCORE has since rested in
a minor coma, perhaps recovering for
a better day. Be sure it will come.

UNCLEAR ABOUT LEADERSHIP IN HARDCORE
____________________________________
Head of staff, RAMIREZ, has been rum-
oured to leave the official spotlight,
and the scene behind him. If this is
the case, it might explain the silent
evolution in HARDCORE. It true, it also
speaks of a very uncertain future for
the group. COMMUNIST, one of the rowdy
names when speaking of the success with
RED SECTIOR some years back would seem
as an appropriate suggestion for a good
comeback, but with a demanding job as
in the police, it is highly improbable.
However, we'll leave room to await the
resonse from RAMIREZ, whether he will
depart or not.

GOLDEN MOMENT
_____________
Not all is dark however. With BLACK
GALAXY, HARDCORE have managed to sign up
a new board stateside. It has been very
rare with new boards recently, and we
cannot definately not consider ourselves
spoiled on the issue. With that in mind,
we can hope to see more of HARDCORE in
the states, another issue we have not
yet been spoiled with.

HITMEN were much appreciated with their
comeback not long ago on the Commodore-
market. With a rather pompous entrance,
that stunned the public, things slowed
down slightly releasewise. However, the
HITMEN label is very active in terms of
public relations. You will find the
group on virtually every board, and
on a quite regular level you will find
them fixing software for other groups,
most recently for TRC*SCS, who unlikely
decided not to fix the title on their
own. HITMEN is still a name to focus on,
with plenty to give.

BUILDING UP A SUCCESS
_____________________
When HITMEN was announced to return,
they did so with a surprisingly reduced
staff. It appeared as though HITMEN
planned to be boardgroup only, with
old, experienced people taking part.
The last few months have however been
hektic. Recruting swappers speak of a
will to be distributed to a wider public
and just recently CURLIN announced a
musician in the German area might become
a valuable asset to the group. The
latter information tells us, HITMEN
have decided not to remain on a small
scale, but instead taking part of the
other big organizations on the field.

THE POLISH BANDWAGON

Following the trend of the valuable
Polish market, HITMEN recruited MOBY,
a Polish supplier whose first deeds
already have been seen. With a Polish
coverage, HITMEN will be taking part
of the most important market today.
Whether this will leave room for an
expanding section is yet uncertain.

RUMOURS ABOUT THE MINISTRY
__________________________
THE MINISTRY very quick to enter the
HITMEN-squad. Being sacked from ON-
SLAUGHT, they quickly needed a new
a label to stand by. DODGER, also crack-

ing for HITMEN appeared fairly pleased
with the decision and commented it
ironically on WARE'S AQUARIUM. The
nastiest of tounges rumoured that the
cracking duo MINISTRY were only taken
in to please Swedish TRANZIIE, but
that is not true. THE MINISTRY will be
highly valuable, especially considering
that HITMEN have switched into topgear,
also concerning a boost on the mail-
market.

VALUABLE SYSTEMS SIGNED UP
__________________________
HITMEN decided not only to focus on
having one of the best boards in the
world. THE DUNGEON was simply not
enough! Signing up the Swedish WARE'S
AQUARIUM, shared with FAIRLIGHT and

PEACEMAKER reopening MYSTIC PARADISE,
HITMEN have some of the juiciest names
in the market. We can only congratulate
them on the issue and take of our hats.

THE ALCHEMIST DOESN'T PAY HIS BILLS?
____________________________________
Recently THE DUNGEON was taken off line,
due to some private occurences with
THE ALCHEMIST, sysop of the system.
It might be that phonebills have been
a bugger to pay at times, but the board
has during likewise happenings always
returned, which leaves little room for
worries. We just have lean back and
await the announcement as it returns.
