<p></p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>&lt;pre&gt;<br /> editorial 2 bumboo<br /> ----------------------------------------<br /> welcome to another issue of jamaica and<br /> this is your host BUMBOO!!<br /> <br /> i don't want this editorial to be as all<br /> the others saying: we're proud of this<br /> mag and these are the chapters we got<br /> this time... i leave all that shit to<br /> iopop and write instead about one thing<br /> that came up to me one day...<br /> <br /> the scene is getting more UNFRIENDLY!!<br /> <br /> don't you think? there are more wars and<br /> fights between scene folx/groups now<br /> then let's say 1 year ago or something<br /> like that. the c64's demos are looking<br /> more and more like amiga demos and the<br /> scene getting more and more look a like<br /> the amiga-scene..<br /> that the demos does is good and bad..<br /> let me explain that later. but that the<br /> scene does is absolutely no good!!<br /> what the c64 have, or had, is a friendly<br /> scene with friendly guys where you and i<br /> elite and none-elite were having a great<br /> time together in a mix that i think is<br /> PERFECT!<br /> so, i really hope that the scene can<br /> still be the scene of ours, the scene we<br /> had, the scene we want..!!<br /> now back to that i wrote about that the<br /> demos on the c64 more and more look like<br /> the amiga's.. you can find it good as<br /> the quality on amiga is better and it's<br /> cool that also the old, gold improves...<br /> what's bad? i think the bad thing is<br /> that when the demos look like amiga-<br /> demos the c64 loose it's personality,<br /> the characteristic way of c64 demos.<br /> but that's something that haven't much<br /> to do with this subject so let's go back<br /> to where i started: with the wars and<br /> the growing hate to other scene-members.<br /> if we want our scene to be as friendly<br /> as before we just can't start up huge<br /> wars because someone do something you<br /> don't like or throw some shit on you..<br /> isn't it the easiest and the best way to<br /> just don't care, ignore them?<br /> sometimes you just can't be quiet as you<br /> think you are too unfairly treated but<br /> why don't then go the easy way and talk<br /> to the person/group that is that pain in<br /> the ass of yours and make it up just<br /> between you.<br /> <br /> i haven't maybe myself been the nicest<br /> guy every time but when i've done some-<br /> thing it have been, seen from my eyes,<br /> very necessary.<br /> i throw some shit on ED/WRATH in the<br /> readers page but that's mostly a joke<br /> and i hope you have enough iq to under-<br /> stand that!<br /> <br /> back to subject; one example of a thing<br /> that i think was totally unnecessary<br /> done is the thing you probably heard of:<br /> the fight between TWILIGHT and STATIC of<br /> gothic design. when everybody thought<br /> that the war was over twilight released<br /> a demo that they called &quot;the truth&quot; that<br /> should show the scene how lame static<br /> was. i don't take static's side, i only<br /> think that it was so FUCKING unnecessary<br /> done! static seemed to do nothing<br /> against twilight and then they release<br /> this demo which got static to QUIT!!<br /> i've talked to some ex-twilighter's<br /> of course no names as i want no wars,<br /> and they seemed to be very proud now<br /> when static quitted..<br /> <br /> well, i don't want to put down any more<br /> time on this chapter as no one ever read<br /> editorials anyway.<br /> <br /> if there, against all odds, is anyone<br /> reading this then please enjoy the other<br /> chapters of this mag!<br /> <br /> /BUMBOO<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;</div>
