Ein gro&amp;szlig;es Spruchband mit der Auf-<br /> schrift &quot;Classic Computing 2009&quot; wird<br /> vorbereitet und drau&amp;szlig;en aufgeh&amp;auml;ngt. Seit<br /> 10 Uhr ist f&amp;uuml;r Besucher ge&amp;ouml;ffnet. Da<br /> kein Eintritt erhoben wird und alle T&amp;uuml;-<br /> ren offenstehen, merkt das aber keiner.<br /> &amp;Uuml;berhaupt bleibt an diesem Samstag die<br /> Zahl der Besucher &amp;uuml;berschaubar. Nur sel-<br /> ten verlieren sich Nicht-Insider in die<br /> Ausstellungshalle.<br /> <br /> Wie immer bei solchen Veranstaltungen<br /> komme ich mal wieder zu nichts. Man muss<br /> sich ja erstmal orientieren, was die an-<br /> deren so treiben. Da nervt man dann den<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> einen mit Fragen oder wird vom anderen<br /> ungefragt zugetextet. Hinterher ist man<br /> schlauer - meistens.<br /> <br /> Interessante Ausstellungsst&amp;uuml;cke sind ei-<br /> ne Iris Indigo als Kaffeemaschine und<br /> ein total verbastelter CBM. Da ist ver-<br /> mutlich ein wahrer Meister der L&amp;ouml;tkunst<br /> am Werke gewesen. Ansonsten gibt es das<br /> &amp;uuml;bliche Programm von Atari, Commodore &amp;amp;<br /> Co.<br /> <br /> Dank aufmunternder Tips von Retro Donald<br /> wage ich es dann irgendwann doch, meine<br /> defekte RAMLink zu zerlegen. Eigentlich<br /> habe ich ja auf der CC einen Hardware-<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> experten suchen wollen, da ich mich an<br /> solchen Dingen nur ungern selber versu-<br /> che. Zu meiner &amp;Uuml;berraschung sind nur<br /> zwei RAM-Riegel zerschossen. Der Rest<br /> funktionierte noch einwandfrei. Allein<br /> daf&amp;uuml;r hat sich der Ausflug gelohnt.<br /> <br /> <br /> Zwei Programmpunkte am Samstag f&amp;uuml;hren<br /> mich in einen kleinen Nebenraum (eigent-<br /> lich die Eingangshalle):<br /> <br /> Erst gibt es von und mit Constantin Gil-<br /> lies eine Lesung aus seinem Buch &quot;Extra-<br /> leben&quot;. Und danach stellt Thiemo Eddiks<br /> sein Oldenburger Computer Museum vor.<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> Der Abend klingt dann mit der Jahres-<br /> hauptversammlung des Vereins zum Erhalt<br /> klassischer Computer e.V. aus.<br /> <br /> Die Versammlung dauert dann doch viel<br /> l&amp;auml;nger als erwartet, da ein (nahezu)<br /> komplett neuer Vorstand gew&amp;auml;hlt werden<br /> muss. Und besonders die Suche nach einem<br /> neuen ersten Vorsitzenden erweist sich<br /> dabei als nicht gerade einfach. Auf der<br /> Vereinshomepage kann jeder das Ergebnis<br /> der Wahlen nachlesen.<br /> <br /> Nach weiteren Diskussionen, Satzungs&amp;auml;n-<br /> derungen und was wei&amp;szlig; ich, kann ich end-<br /> lich nach Hause fahren. W&amp;auml;hrend ich also<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> durch den finsteren Westerwald gen Hei-<br /> mat brause - ich wei&amp;szlig; immer noch nicht,<br /> wie ich da wieder rausgekommen bin -<br /> zocken die anderen Teilnehmer, die vor<br /> Ort &amp;uuml;bernachten, munter weiter.<br /> <br /> Am n&amp;auml;chsten Morgen stehe ich wieder auf<br /> der Matte. Den zweiten Tag der CC will<br /> ich mir nicht entgehen lassen.<br /> <br /> In der Schule neben der Halle hat ein<br /> Wahlb&amp;uuml;ro zur Bundestagswahl aufgemacht.<br /> Ab und zu schauen ein paar W&amp;auml;hler her-<br /> ein, sind aber sichtlich irritiert von<br /> dieser seltsamen Ansammlung von Geeks<br /> und Nerds.<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> Ich komme mal wieder zu nichts. Auf der<br /> B&amp;uuml;hne wird an diesem Vormittag Compi-<br /> rudis Nachla&amp;szlig; f&amp;uuml;r einen guten Zweck ver-<br /> steigert. Dutzende CBM-Rechner, CBM-<br /> Floppies, viele C64, C128, 1581, 1551,<br /> Kisten mit Netzteilen, Joysticks, Zei-<br /> tungen sowie mehrere IBM PCs und vieles<br /> andere wechseln in wenigen Stunden ihren<br /> Besitzer. Ein Paradies f&amp;uuml;r Schn&amp;auml;ppchen-<br /> j&amp;auml;ger. Leider habe ich nur einen kleinen<br /> Keller...<br /> <br /> Irgendwann ist es pl&amp;ouml;tzlich nachmittags<br /> und das gro&amp;szlig;e Zusammenpacken beginnt.<br /> Ich schaffe es gerade so, meine alten<br /> und neuen Sch&amp;auml;tze in meinem Auto zu ver-<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> stauen. Wie gut, dass andere einen gro-<br /> &amp;szlig;en Wohnwagenanh&amp;auml;nger organisieren konn-<br /> ten.
