Ich konnte es kaum abwarten, den<br /> C64 nach Berlin mitzunehmen.<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> Ungl&amp;uuml;cklicherweise gab es zu dieser Zeit<br /> einen Anruf meiner Klassenlehrerin bei<br /> meiner Mutter, dass das Bestehen des<br /> Probehalbjahres am Gymnasium gef&amp;auml;hrdet<br /> sei.<br /> <br /> So wurde angeordnet, dass der C64 noch<br /> ein Jahr in Hannover zu bleiben habe und<br /> die Priorit&amp;auml;t bei diversen Nachhilfekur-<br /> sen zu liegen habe.<br /> <br /> In dieser Zeit verschlang ich jede Aus-<br /> gabe der Zeitschriften &quot;64'er&quot; und &quot;Hap-<br /> py Computer&quot;. An den Wochenenden in Han-<br /> nover konnte ich den C64 aber nach wie<br /> vor nutzen. Ich programmierte ein klei-<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> nes Spiel in BASIC und machte ein paar<br /> Gehversuche in Assembler.<br /> <br /> Nachdem das Probehalbjahr bestanden war<br /> und sich die Noten im gew&amp;uuml;nschten Rahmen<br /> befanden, konnte der C64 endlich nach<br /> Berlin. Hier nutzte ich ihn mit GEOS<br /> auch zum Schreiben von Referaten und<br /> erfreute mich an zahlreichen Automaten-<br /> umsetzungen wie z.B. Thunder Blade, Out-<br /> run und Afterburner.<br /> <br /> Als der Informatikunterricht bevorstand,<br /> wich der C64 einem 286'er AT mit Turbo<br /> Pascal 5.0. Durch die Wende hatte er im-<br /> mer noch einen guten Wert und konnte mir<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> so einen letzten Dienst zur Mitfinanzie-<br /> rung des teuren Personal Computers er-<br /> weisen.<br /> <br /> Sp&amp;auml;ter baute ich zahlreiche PCs f&amp;uuml;r<br /> Freunde und Bekannte zusammen. Hierbei<br /> nahm ich noch den einen oder anderen C64<br /> und C128 in Zahlung. So hatte ich auch<br /> sp&amp;auml;ter immer noch Einblick in die 64er<br /> Szene. Es war &amp;uuml;berraschend, was sp&amp;auml;ter<br /> alles noch f&amp;uuml;r Entwicklungen auf dem nun<br /> 10 Jahre alten 8 Bitter erschienen.<br /> <br /> W&amp;auml;hrend ein PC f&amp;uuml;r mich immer ein Ge-<br /> brauchsgegenstand war, war der &quot;Immer<br /> Ready-C64&quot; fast schon ein guter Freund.<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;<br /> &lt;pre&gt;<br /> Mittlerweile habe ich eine Sammlung von<br /> zehn C64 in den verschiedensten Ausf&amp;uuml;h-<br /> rungen. Durchst&amp;ouml;bert man heute die alten<br /> 64'er Zeitschriften verwundert es schon,<br /> dass man informationstechnisch damals<br /> eigentlich schon alles mit diesen 64 Ki-<br /> lobyte, 1 MHz System machen konnte und<br /> wozu man eigentlich f&amp;uuml;r das bi&amp;szlig;chen mehr<br /> an Funktionalit&amp;auml;t heutiger Systeme un-<br /> z&amp;auml;hlige Gigahertz, Gigabyte und vor al-<br /> lem kWh mehr braucht.<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> WINTERMUTE _<br /> &lt;/pre&gt;</div>
