as i got several WRITTEN REACTIONS about
BRUTAL RECALL,i just write the most
critical down here.
i will also give comments on them!

BRUTAL RECALL is now surely the best mag
in the c64 scene as SEX'N'CRIME and
CORRUPTION seem to be dead and MAMBA's
not that userfriendly as yours.and all
the other mags like MEGA MADNESS or
PUKE-BOX are simple silly.
but please exchange the SPRITES in the
main-menue and make the SCROLLING in
the CHAPTER-MENUE a bit SLOWER !!
but the most important thing you could
improve is the fact that when you LOAD
a CHAPTER and then you PRESS FIRE on
the same chapter to SCROLL the text up
the same text will be LOADED AGAIN !!
please try to remove this SMALL ERROR!
of course you also could put in some
MORE TUNES to choose between as i
always get bored of the music during i
read all the chapters.
these things aren't ment bad, they are
just some hints how you can IMPROVE
your cool mag. all the OTHER THINGS
like GRAFIX or TEXTS or DESIGN are
REALY COOL !!
just go on making this COOL MAG !!!

well JACK,thanx for the COMPLIMENT!
you probably don't like the SPRITES
which are in the BORDER,but i won't
change them. don't worry,because i'll
do a NEW and BETTER MAINMENUE in the
FUTURE! i agree that the CHAPTERSCROLL
was much TOO FAST so i changed it!
i hope it's better this way!
now about your most important thing to
change.the fact about LOADING the TEXT
AGAIN when you START to READ! i also
got the same PROBLEM,but HOW should i
FIX IT? you have to PRESS FIRE to LOAD
the CHAPTER,but also to READ the TEXT!
i really thought about it how to FIX
that!
then i came up with these IDEAS...
--------------------------------------
1.you have to MOVE your ARROW to the
CHAPTER you want to READ,and then
you have to PRESS SPACE TO LOAD it.

2.you MOVE your ARROW to the CHAPTER
you want to READ,then PRESS FIRE and
AFTER LOADING your ARROW will be
PLACED BESIDES the CHAPTER you have
CHOOSEN,so you can PRESS FIRE to
SCROLL the text WITHOUT RELOADING!

when i use NR.1 the USERFRIENDLYNESS
will go DOWN,as it isn't ONLY JOYSTICK
CONTROLLED anymore!
so i came to the conclusion that NR.2
was the BEST thing to do!
i hope you agree!
now about more TUNES...
you now can press "1" or "2" to hear
TWO DIFFERENT TUNES!
in the NEW OUTFIT this will also BE IN
THE MENUE,so you can also CONTROL this
with your JOYSTICK!
well,as that was all,i wanna THANK you
for ATTENDING me on these things and
that i could IMPROVE/FIX them!

i think da CODE of da MAINMENU is really
COOL,also da TEXT is NICE.
only 2 NEGATIVE THINGS:

2.if you're LOADING a CHAPTER,it's
still POSSIBLE to SCROLL the TEXT of
LAST CHAPTER.

one LAST WORD about da RELEASE DATE:
COOL! finally a mag which won't be

thanx ROEL,for giving some COMPLIMENTS!
the FIRST NEGATIVE thing was ALLREADY
DISCUSSED in the OTHER reaction,but
the SECOND THING wasn't!
it's TRUE that you still can SCROLL
the TEXT while it's LOADING! if you do
this and STOP the SCROLL on the RIGHT
TIME,the SCREEN will START to SHAKE!
SLASH/BRUTAL found this BUG just after
i PACKED the whole PROGRAM! and as i
allready copied it 40 times i didn't
WANT to FIX it,PACK it again and then
COPY all those 40 DISKS AGAIN! (i hope
you UNDERSTAND!) so i DIDN'T and HOPED
that NOBODY would FIND OUT!
UNFORTINATELY some FOUND OUT and TOLD
me! but as you can see,it's FIXED!

WHOW! what a mag!!! i really know MANY
MANY DISCMAGS but such a PERFECT
OUTFIT i've never seen before. it's
really cool. i'd like to get all the
other issues of your mag and i wish
you the VERY VERY BEST for the FUTURE!
