Interview II

This time around we have brought to your attention a nice little number with the king of C*Base modifications, we present: Cyborg, sysop of Dream Park.

D=Domination
C=Cyborg

D)
Welcome Shawn and thanks for getting up to do this interview!! Firstly give us a brief description on what you look like.

C)
Well I am around 6 feet and 0 inches, dunno what the hell is it in centimeters for the lamers who don't know what a foot is.. I have light brown hair, brown eyes, and will be 19 by the time this is out.

D)
It would be great if you learn centimetres Shawn! But anyway please give us a run down on some of the things in your scene life (C64).

C)
My C64 scene life history basically consists of me running a board. I have runned it for Eclipse, Genesis*Project and Dominators at different times. My only real accomplishment is Dream Park.

D)
Yeah and I hope to see it back online soon! Tell me when it finally does go back online, what's some of the stuff we can expect, how are you going to sh0ck us this time?

C)
If I tell you what I have planned in my next versions it will ruin the fun. I will say that the modem crap up to 57.6k is already in place. But as for real mods, you will have to wait and see...

D)
Running a board must require a xxx amount of equipment, what do you own?

C)
When this comes out I will have two 1084 monitors, two C128's, three 1571's, two 1581's, CMD-220MB hard drive, 14.4k suprafax modem, 4.09 MHz turbomaster and other junk laying around.

D)
It feels weird asking this next question but here goes, what out of all the boards in the USA would be your favourite (C64).

C)
I liked 'Fiberoptik Hell' when it was around, but now, any BBS running on my mods. (ED. hehe)

D)
Well your mods are cool, but I find most boards in the US, turning towards UCBBS nowadays, perhaps because the version you put out was a joke and has a deliberate bug in it? hmm anyways out of all computer formats what is the one that drives you wildest.

C)
I'm sure I will hear a lot of shit for this one, but the C64 is my 2nd favourite machine. Next to Power Macintosh, running a 160 MHz power PC chipset.

D)
Lame!! lame!! Hehe, as you would have expect eh Shawn? If you were to start a group on this machine, who would you have in it?

C)
If I started a group I would like to be in it, all the old guys from Dominators and then I would bring back Zorlac and Stingray.

D)
Hmm, suppose you would have to be in that group to do custom C*Base modifications or??:) Anyway have some consideration into the following favourites..

1. Favourite game = Mortal Kombat (arcade)
2. Utility = Filemaker Pro (mac)
3. Cracker = Saltines (heh)
4. Group = Banton (heh)
5. BBS = mine of course! (ED. hmrf!)

D)
I myself having great interest in the H/P scene and the board scene related both directly and indirectly to the hack/phreak side, does this other scene interest you at all? Do you practice its black arts?

C)
No, except when I need a code..

D)
Well you should have just asked, here you go: 1-800/XXX-XXXX+XXXXX+acn...and continuing! Because of certain evidence and things in your modifications of BBS programs I must ask you, do you take drugs or excessive amounts of alcohol?

C)
Drugs - no, alcohol - yes.. just a casual drink now and then.

D)
Before we leave our readers in darkness would you like to say some hellos to any of your fellow sceners or fans out there?

C)
I suppose I could say hi to a few people (dunno how many will read this though) hellos to: Jack Daniels/AVT, Chameleon, Zorlac, KT and the rest..

D)
Ok thanks for time Shawn and get me a damn account set-up Dream Park when its back online!!

Well he has just left the building and is driving back by limo to his home of madness, I myself am very eager to get on Dream Park when it's back online, be sure you all get an account there!!
