this month i will show you how to
install a reset switch for your computer

installation is very simple:

YOU NEED: a soldering iron
          a normally open push button
           from any electronic store
          half metre of wire (insulated)

STEP-BY-STEP INFO.

1. open your computer
2. look at the joy port
   (back, farleft next to the cassette
    port).
3. the user port's 'pins' are numbered
   on the top are no. 1-12
   find pin 1 and 3.
4. cut 1/2 metre length of wire in
   two.
5. solder one piece of wire onto pin 1
   (usually there is a hole anyway)
6. solder the other piece of wire to pin
   three.
7. on the unsoldered ends of the wire,
   solder to the push button. (there
   should be two legs).
8. drill a hole in the case of the
   computer and mount the push button
   in it.

now, everytime you press the button
PIN 1 AND 3 will be momemtarily
connected. therefore reseting the
computer!!!
