The "8 bit Cosa Nostra" surprises the scene lately
with a monthly news-update being sent to the contax
of $ixx as sheets, a nice idea indeed, that should be
an example of how magazine-support could be...

The following pieces of news were taken out of
these sheets, however some abbreviation had to  take
place here and there, and actually it had to be
translated into common english (Cupid) :)

- The official F4CG FTP Interpark was endangered to
go down, as Playboy/f4CG's university didn't want
to support it anylonger, however, it now remains
without their knowledge...

- At the X'96 F4CG and SCS+TRC played a game of po-
ker betting with a fullprice firstrelease! Nightsha-
de's cards however were beaten by $ixx's pair of
nines. As BOB/Censor dealt the cards, there was
no cheat-mode added...

- After the F4CG moonshine (booze, that is) and the
lighters, spread at the party, they consider about
more merchandise to be spread soon...

- Scorpie, a veteran from the old F4CG times,   return-
ed and re-entered at the party. He will do some in-
tro Gfx...

- Censor Design will not do any demos on the C64
anymore, but will produce some intros for F4CG...

- The Tribute is yet in planning, the previously an-
nounced date being June is highly unlikely, so the
organizers  (Newscopy,Draz,Deff and Tranziie) see
August as the current goal...

- Propaganda Music will soon be finished, a SID-ori-
entated Propaganda. $ixx will be general editor.

- F4CG is currently working on a PeeCee CD with pho-
tos from the scene's past and present, the work is
hosted by Newscopy and Geggin/Censor. Tranziie is
currently scanning his own collections, so if you
have some photos or scanned GIF's then send them
to Newscopy. Up to 5000 photos could be conver-
ted, but 500 is more likely to be burned on the
CD...

- Zyron left Antic for F4CG.

- Dream Park is down :(

- Intruder will cease all his swapping activities until
September, due to school reasons, as he wants to
become master at chimney-sweeping...

- Cupid also won't send out until his collection "Ica-
rus" is finished. All the work has been done so far,
only Druid has to code the remaining bits.

- The next bigger legal product (apart from a not
yet confirmed small coop demo with F4CG) after
Icarus will be a coop-collection with Vibrants
featuring tunes from Metal.   Code will be   performed
by Dru!d and Cup!d will perform the arts and the
concept. Worktitle so far is "IONEE"...

- Cupid will soon move to another location, so be
prepared for a new addie, new phonenumber and so
on. Furthermore he is currently waiting for a  modem
to reach his place, so watch out boards, here he
comes... :)

This, the first part of the chapter, was written by
Cupid. Now I, Biz Kid, will take over and bring what I
have been informed about.

1st I've got a letter from PVCF revealing some facts
about the condition of :

As I read in our mag, Insider, that we where looking
for new coders and composers, it took me some time
to realize and to decide to leave the field. The rea-
son is that I don't want average and bad people, like
myself, to stand in the way for keeping the standard
which the main-editors of INSIDER has set.
So from the above mentioned date I am no longer a
member of REFLEX. This decision is not to be changed!

At the time I got this (-ed!) the situation was as fol-
lowing:

PVCF left Reflex on 28.04.96, and is now groupless on
the C64.

QUISS left Reflex on 01.05.96; he is groupless on the
C64.

PVT left Reflex on 03.05.96; he is groupless on the
C64.

And finally: GURU left Reflex on 09.05.96 he is (Sur-
prise!! - ed!!) groupless on the C64.

So as far as I can see, Reflex is facing some huge
problems at the moment. Let's wait and see what the
future will bring!



Another topic which has been on the lips on almost
every scener lately is: what the fuck is going on in:

CAMELOT
CAMELOT

Hmm a good question, but I will try to answer it any-
way..

- Biz Kid has started up a quite big project. He will do
the hard job trying to organize the Camelot posse.

- More members like Jeff, Metal, Rob, BK, Slammer &
more have been talking about a demo on the C64. So
better wait and see, maybe the Party 6 will bring you
something.

- Glasnost have some older parts laying around in his
disxboxes which he intend to release some time. (I've
seen them and I might say that they look quite nice!)

- Slammer has recently replaced his old motherboard
in his PC with a new pentium board. Unfortunately it
didn't turn out successfully. He managed to blow up
his gfx card...(And I really mean BLOW up..)

- Jeff is getting damned active on the old breadcase
again. Wait for his cool jungle tunes which will be out
some time..

- I, Biz Kid, will put Skyhigh on ice soon. Yep that is
true. I will not continue this magazine anymore. Read
Biz mix for further explanations!!
