The charts - part 2 Welcome to the second chapter of the charts, done by Shuze. Enjoy! CRACKING GROUP CRACKING GROUP Pos. Last Group Name Points --------------------------------------------- 1. (*) Citadel 3 (7) Dytec 3 (7) Faith 3 Well, obviously it is a one horse race, but the next 4 places are never the same! SCS+TRC have lost a lot of power in recent months, although they are still extremely active, but I think the voters noticed a slight change. Alphaflight are becoming more popular these days, and as for Chromance, I am truly aghast at their low score: the posse should be up there challenging Avantgarde, and not waiting to be caught by Onslaught! But now Mr Wax and Jazzy D are out of the army and very active, they should rise again. Onslaught should have many more points, and Motiv8 should not really be that high. Laxity will dive up the charts soon, due a massive amount of real quality work from Didi. Hitmen are nowhere to be seen which is, I believe, due to their lack of support in the mail scene. Genlog was removed for being dead, and Lepsi and Cascade were removed because they are 100% legal groups! Jeez.... It highlights the mentality of voters when a group like Lepsi which has been legal only for months and months would have had 13th place..... Just missing the chart were: Xenon - Hitmen - Charged - Triad - Amnesia- Paradox SINGLE CRACKERS SINGLE CRACKERS Pos. Last Cracker Name Points --------------------------------------------- 1. (12) Calypso/Alphaflight/Amnesia 9 (18) Count Zero/SCS+TRC 9 20. (*) Dodger/Hitmen 8 (*) Jaydee/Chromance 8 Well, I think you may know my feelings on this chart. Ignorance should be number one without a doubt, with Jack Alien on two. Ream should be in the top five, and deserves it due to many quality versions. Didi should also be higher, and why Jaydee is so low is beyond me. He does an amazing amount of real quality cracking. Techno was the biggest dropper, going from position 9 down to 41! Just missing the chart were: Bacillus - Mason - Skinhead - PWP - Red Rock - Shuze I didn't want to be in no stinkin' chart anyway...... :) SWAPPERS SWAPPERS Pos. (*) Bacillus/SCS+TRC 13 (*) Ice/Lepsi Developments 13 (*) Tiamat/Galicya 13 (*) Truss/Acrise+Excess 13 Its no great shock that Intruder regains his title, although with a lot of activity recently, I think Spermbird will probably get it back next month. I predict that soon Bizarre will challenge for the number one spot, which was his a few years back. Thanks for the high votes for me, but this is the last time that me of any of the other Skyhigh staff are included in the charts. It is beyond me why Sebaloz is so high, as he seems to put out more notes than anyone I have ever known, asking people to recontact him. Oh well, its always a weird chart, is this one.... If I had voted for this issue, then it would have all been a different story, but, alas, I didn't. I have listed the most important things that the various countries contribute to the scene, just for reference. If anyone takes any insult over not getting mentioned, tell me what I should list after them! Just a bit of fun in an ultimately boring chapter..... OK, we are done with the charts for this issue. The Slaving was done by Shuze, with thanks to Biz Kid for sending me most of the sheets, and to Nastiness Inc of Angry for telling me after I had finished the charts that he had a better sheet counter. Nice timing.... Shuze/Afl'70
