Mamba 25 ch08 Let's Party

  to cut a long story short, this
  issue of mamba< will be the last one!


  mamba is dead, let's party !!!












  enough! probably is the appropriate
  word to describe the actual situation
  or better, my actual mood.

  the point, when i didn't have enough
  time to produce this magazine was
  reached already several months ago,
  but the pleasure to see its release,
  to see it is well-liked was always
  dominating.







  it's much to complicated to explain
  in detail why the magazine won't
  be produced any longer.

  a few things came together though,
  like not having enough time due to
  my trainee, being left in the
  lurch by certain persons or simply
  being disappointed, too many things
  are not like they should be, or,
  like they have been...

  things changed, a lot of things, and
  i can't think of anything which
  changed to the better.


  now something interesting for you,
  here is a list of all the countries
  (we think) we ever got mail from :

  great britain, denmark, austria,
  spain, finland, norway, italy,
  ireland, france, holland, belgium,
  switzerland, hungary, luxembourg,
  australia, canada, usa, south africa,
  argentine, israel, new zealand,
  yoguslavia, turkey, czechoslovakia,
  lichtenstein, malaysia, poland,
  scotland and most of all from
  germany of course.   29 !



  at this occasion i should mention
  that the great response from the
  readers was the biggest support we
  got during those years.
  there were much much more than
  1000 letters, and each of them, if
  negative or positive, pushed us
  forward.

  getting all that mail, seeing so many
  people in all parts of the world
  caring for our work was the best
  part of making mamba.




  in the end even the mail vanished...

  in the end we saw more and more
  people complaining about mistakes,
  though knowing we still have a
  broad readership.











  i know, i am going to miss it.
  well, imagine you did something
  constantly for more than two years...

  it was always great fun, it even
  was great fun to do the slavery-work
  that was involved, like typing
  announces etc.

  i can't think of any moment when we
  didn't have great fun.

  when we were still together...




  now i should probably tell you that
  we even keep on counting all the
  games which will be released.
  we can't let it be.
  on the shaolin temple, (always the
  mamba hq) and on second to none, we
  will have a look, seeing who are the
  lame, and who are the fame...

  well the forum won't be taken into
  consideration for those decisions
  anymore, because it went 2400 baud.

  i just can't see the sense in
  having a board which is not busy,
  jason !!!               ---

  hmm i could think of a lot of
  persons who would deserve a slap
  into their faces right now..hehe

  but they will get enough slaps in
  their lives anwyay, and, being
  polite is 'in'.

  because i say so!

  what else could i mention ?

  is there anyone or anything still
  being worth mentioned ?

  my mother ! yeah, she put me into
  this world.
  sometimes i wish she hadn't though.

  does anyone think these my words are
  becoming ridiculous ?

  well, i always wanted to write
  something ridiculous, because in the
  last two years i was always biting
  my tongue, always to stay factual,
  maybe too factual.
