------------------------------- well david,my handle is as everybody derbyshire ram,from the group illusion. what is your real name? ----------------------- barry joynes. what do you do in your group? ----------------------------- well in mainly do some cracking,also i do some mail trading,as well as suppling originals to our group. in what country do you live? ---------------------------- the only place to live in england. what is your height,weight,sex,d.o.b.? -------------------------------------- well good question david,height is about 5'-11" (179cm),weight well lets just say big,around 16 stone (122kg's),i think my sex is male and my date of birth is 3rd of january 1939. what is your occupation? ------------------------ well,i am retired and loving it! tell our readers about yourself? -------------------------------- o.k. i am married and i have 5 kids and we have 9 grand kids. my wife works at our local post office,and i like trains, (history of them etc) and photography. how long have you been on the scene? ------------------------------------ i have been on the scene,since late 1982 what groups have you been in? ----------------------------- started of in dominators,then went to a group called deadline,& now in illusion. what hardware do you have? -------------------------- 3 64's,3 1541 mark 2's,action replay 5.0 and 4.42,expert catridge mps 801 printer monitor. i use to use a data cassette until 1985,then i got my first drive. what do you think of the scene? ------------------------------- good question,david. i don't like it a lot at the moment,as they is quite a bit of aggression going on,because there is not a lot of software around,so a lot of groups are turning on each other. there is less wars today,then yesterday's. there are a couple of rogues on the 64 scene,but they will eventually move on. i would also like to see the scene get quicker. when you think of the scene,what do you think of first?------------------------ --------------- mainly i think of cracking and looking for new games. what makes you tick? -------------------- i suppose what makes me tick is the fact that if it hadn't been for my ill health i would not have got involved in the 64 scene to start with. also knowing what i can do on the computer helps. what makes you happy? --------------------- lots of things make me happy david,but i suppose,seeing lots of new wares makes me very happy. what makes you pissed off? -------------------------- immature people on the 64 scene really gets up my nose. also people who like to slag off at other people for no good reason at all. do you have a wife/girlfriend? ------------------------------ yes,my wife's name is ann and she is the same age as me,and really detests my 64 activities. what is your aim in life? ------------------------- to be happy,to maybe reach the 100 year mark and to stay on the scene for as long as i can. to see illusion weather the storm we are having. if you could change one thing in your life,what would it be?--------------- ---------------------- i would love to change my ill health,as it is a pain in the butt. if you change one thing on the scene, what would it be?-------------------- ----------------- i would insist the software houses would release more 64 wares. name 3 things you can't live without? ------------------------------------- definatley my beer,my family and my dog monty. he is a patterdale terrier,named after general montgomery. name three things you can live without? --------------------------------------- agro of any kind,if i had to i could live without my beer,and i can really live without lamers and the cold weather in good old england. if you were going to be executed,what would be your last wish?------------- ------------------------ my last wish would be to have my good health back,happiness to all my family & friends,and to put it bluntly,to kill the executioner first. how does money effect your life? -------------------------------- a hell of alot actually,i would say at least 99% of people would say that it was money that made a big difference in their lives and lifestyle. who is the most influential person in your life?--------------------------- ---------- without a doubt david,it would have to be sir winston churchill. the younger sceners might know who he was,maybe not. if you were on a island,what 3 things would you have,and why?-------------- ----------------------- my wife for obvious reasons,an endless supply of beer,and of course if i am going to do a good job on myself,an endless supply of smokes. what is your greatest fantasy? ------------------------------ something i have dreamt about all my life and i suppose everyone has this one at least once in their life,and that is to play football for my country and it would be great to score a couple of goals. it would also be great to play cricket against you aussies and score a double century. (dream on barry,ed) if you had a million dollars,what would you do with it?------------------------ --------------- if i had that much money,the first thing i would do,would be to make sure all my family had what they needed,and then i would invest the rest,and live the life of a retired king. before we finish,is there anything you want to say?-------------------------- ------------ yes,i would like to say hi to all my contacts and wish them many great times. what is your favourite? ----------------------- FOOD:lasagne this would have to be my favourite meal. DRINK:beer of course(theakstons old per) MUSIC:like 60-70 music as well as buddy holly and elton john. GAME:defender of the crown,is my all time favourite.
