well hi there! once again here is THE
ROGUE of tsr writing the text for the
new zealand section of THE LINK ...
i must say that right now i have no
idea of what to write, but i'm sure i
will be able to come up with something
to tantalize your intellect, or at least
bore you to sleep... well i know that
there is already a review scetion, but
i think i will review one of the first
nz products for a while...


   - MUSO'S DREAM! / LITHIUM (NZ) -

well to start this review, i think that
this pack was made in a hurry, although
i can't be sure... anyway, that doesn't
affect the review so here we go... all
code was by HURRICANE/LTM, and i think
he did a good job with this one, besides
a few small flaws, which perhaps can't
be helped...



...when you load the file you are first
shown a page with small instructions +
a few greets, blue background, no music,
once you press space you are at the
main part of the file... there is a
LITHIUM logo at the bottom of the
screen (by me) and above there is the
list of progs available with an arrow
on either side, they serve as the cursor
i'm no musician, but there seems a
wide selection of progs, such as...


voicetracker v4.0
parsec v5.1
advanced music programmer
split relocator 1.1
deluxe music player v1.0
digi organizer v1.0
and many more to choose from... between
the logo and options is a small message
which i think would have look better as
a scroll, but all the text is flashing,s
on the whole screen looks quite good...


     ... well that's basically the whole
file in a nutshell, the music is quit
cool and it enhances the whole thing
just that much more... all in all i only
found 2 real flaws... first, the text
looked a bit rushed, and i feel that
HURRICANE could have put the text space
to better use, and secondly, he did'nt
credit anyone, except of course himself
for code, (i.e. music, logo, chars etc),
but i guess that isn't essential...


over all this is a good piece of work,
nothing spectacular, but it does what
it's supposed to... so, i give it:

                 CODE: 6.5 / 10
           USEFULNESS: 8.0 / 10
      OVERALL CONTENT: 7.5 / 10

... well that's it for this time, i hope
you semi-enjoy and i know you'll enjoy
the rest of the mag...

SYSTEM kicked out KANOK cause he has
been in the group for 6 months and
hasn't done anything. not even a noter.
he also expects expects the group to pay
for all his cf's they had borrowed from
him. he said we returned them too late.
but the mags were 4 months old when we
got them from him.
