SOME KEYS HAVE TROUBLE WORKING....

open up your case and remove key pad.
desolder the wires on the back of the
SHIFT LOCK key. unscrew the million
screws and remove circuit board.....
clean board with ALCOHOL or METHO.
clean key pads CAREFULLY with a dam
cloth. use a pencil rubber if abrasion
is required. RECLEAN with metho etc put
it all back together again.. repeat if
HOW DO I CLEAN DISK DRIVE HEADS?

if a cleaning disk fails. remove the
top cover of your drive. lift open heads
and examine surface. you should see a
CLEAN WHITE surface with a BLACK LINE
across it from left to right.
clean with a SOFT CLOTH using ALCOHOL or
METHO.
you may use toothpaste and a soft cloth
if abrasion is necessary. be sure to
clean off toothpaste with alcohol etc.

MY C64C has NO SOUND

 1. check the FUSE inside the keyboard.

 2. check POWER SUPPLY for 9 volt
    output.

 3. check MONITOR and CABLES.

 4. replace SID CHIP as this is the only
    chip that uses the 9 volt supply.

 how do i turn my MOUSE into a JOYSTICK?

 1. switch off computer.

 2. plug MOUSE into the JOYSTICK PORT.

 3. hold down SELECT BUTTON on mouse
    (not the fire button) and switch
    the computer on.

 1. purchase a momentry on push button
    switch.

 2. look into the back of the USER PORT.

 3. connect the wires to the top left
    pad and the third in from the top
    left. secure the switch and your
