                                    * Game scene *
---------------------------------------

Dear readers;
Presented to you here, is the latest news, information
and contact addresses of the legal game industry.
Information is gathered from legal publications,
such as Loadstar, Commodore World and Commodore
Zone.
One may see the money making endeavours of an old
scene to be somewhat of a narrow channel.
But the industry is still surviving in small groups,
magazines and companies devoted to still continue
producing entertainment software on the Commodore
64.
Thank you to Everlasting Style, Cherry Software,
Phuture and Threshold Productions for their support
to this chapter.
Please take careful observation of the following and
enjoy and support what the contents have to offer.
* Creative Micro Designs (CMD) will by now have
released two new acceleration cartridges for the C64.
Firstly the 10 mhz accelerator is available at $100 US.
The second being the 20 mhz accelerator, which is
available at $175 US.
With these accelerators released and the current
view of interested people, this could be very well the
inovative piece of hardware the scene currently
needs.

* Threshold Productions seems to be well on the
active side with a rumoured VGA Card which will allow
256 colors on C64.
What will be coming is Crimson Twilight - a 6 sided
role playing game similar to the classic Ultima and
Bard Tale's series.
The game might well contain 4 bit samples for speech
and contain some stunning graphic scenes and will
be released as a full price product.

Also shortly arriving is Lazer Duel 2 - a 1 sided
complete make over featuring the same styled game
play of Lazer Duel, but with an enhancement of
Modem Play and samples in the completed version.
Previews of both of these will be out soon.

Title: MAGIC FORMULA
by 'Electric Brains' and 'New Entry'

Taking job as the worm, it is your mission to rescue
Dawsy, the love of your life.
Now, you do have help on the way. Wizard Worm can
provide you with the potion, but you have to seek the
magical formula.
In 24 intense levels of platform bonanza, you battle
the most hilarious and colourful enemies you have
ever seen on the 64.
Graphics reach new limits on the 64, and the
soundtrack will keep you humming through the entire
game. This platform game is bound yo knock out all
other competitors there have ever been.

Title: Future World
by 'Nemesis Productions'

With the entire universe in your reach. It is your task
to make a fortune dealing goods and transporting
people.
Future World is one of the juiciest games of the 1990's
and it will keep you playing for weeks.
It was ages since somebody released a "longplay"
game.
With spices of Elite (C64), Millenium 2.2 (Amiga) and
Deuteros (Amiga) you cannot afford to miss this epic.
Sweden's absolute top-devlopers are responsible for
the massive orgy.

Title: Bouncy Balls
by 'R-code' and 'Art Game'

Bouncy balls is a new concept in computer games.
Press has described it as a mix between Pang and
Rodland.
We think it beats both by far. Sizzling gameplay,
outstanding graphics and sound you never thought
could be jammed into a 64.
A shot of energy is about to unleash powers off your
computer. Astonishing and dangerously addictive.
The game has been developed over a period of years
by what many believe to be one of the best demo
groups of all time - Censor Design.
Names that have been involved in the project are Bob,
Danko,Creeper and Swallow - names that have topped
the demo charts for ages!
Find out why the press marvelled about the arcade
game of the year.

* Now widely known is that German company Cp Verlag,
will no longer be buying c64 games, although they still
have quite a number of titles still to be published.
With this in mind, one would now center their attention
to some of the other lables in Germany such as Magic
Disk and Magna Media.
Still try contact Cp Verlag and give persuasive support
