BARACUDA'S PLACE 1996 BARACUDA'S PLACE 1996 The day before the Hardcore Meeting ________________________________________ (Another story about the "new" dirmaster) ________________________________________ Nebula in Cologne 1996 It was the time when Art Design planed so many Tools. We did Toolcollections like Fun Collection, Art Collection or Music Collections like the Hitmix series or Art Rip series and more...
But one of our final fantasy was to im- prove the dirmaster. We were very sick about using 3-4 diffe- rent programs to work with the disks like we need... So Firefox and me had the idea first to take the Dirmaster & mix'em up with the Dir-Master published on the Magic Disk 3/89. But how to do? As Milan was our coder in Art Design he should be able to do that, so we thought
but then he needed help and Milan asked Seesaw Widow for the help... It bugged like hell because he includes only ripped code from the tools I send him to rip the routines from and he found... Seesaw Widow released then the Dir-Edi- tor Shadow (1/95) which wasn't perfect. As the dirmaster was in another Beta stadium Nebula visited me in cologne. He was a fresh Hardcore member and to- morrow would be his Hardcore Meeting.
He asked Shocker if it was allowed for me to be his guest and there was no pro- blem. We had a lot to do these days as there was a silent coop between Art Design and Shadow. I helped Wolfgang to do the FSC Noter which included some of my ideas... (packer, memory length for the music, more...) So shortly after he arrived at my place the work began... At first we had to copy the newest stuff to each other, than we checked the FSC
noter for bugs and thought about impro- vings together... The reason while there were later more versions around. Then we had to merge some routines to work together in the dirmaster 6. You know there were a version with monitor and one without. The Mon was ripped from another tool, like the routines were from the dirmaster/the dreamteam, dir- creator, and so on... All ripped together from Nebula in the past times.
The unfinished work in 1995 by Milan be- gan now really to became a face... If you would see the routines I've here as he began you would really laugh... It was later my swapmate Antifan who did the rest of the work and did the best version... It has still some hidden bugs but was the best. About our personal meeting... After talking about the newest things
happened to our groups and copying, cod- ing, packing the day was over... The next day we travelled both to the trainstation and yep there he was "our friend Shocker". :) To be continued... Meeting: 8th march 1996 in Germany Organizer: Baracuda Attendants: (2) Baracuda, Nebula _
