This report is written LIVE at the
party, while the AMIGA competition still
is going on. So, we will present you all
the results of the competition, and all
the stuff which is going on, and not to
mention, have happened. Go for it...!!!

The usual EASTER-party, held in Sweden
by Horizon was not going take place this
year. Instead, Light and Phenomena did
organize one. The party was supposed to
be held in a school in ALNINGSAS somehow
close to Gothenburg, in the southwest of
Sweden. Only a few days before the big
event of the spring should start, some
small problems occures. There had been
far too many contributes, so the first
partyplace would have been too small.
Now, the party were moved to a huge
ice-hall, only 500 metres away.

As we arrived at the party place, at
five o'clock on friday the 19th, there
were not so many guys there. This was
NOT the attitude later on. More than
800 came, to party and have a great time
together with computer friends.

At this party, we had all to gather in
one big hall, and not in small rooms, as
it usually have been. Some might find
this a pity, and some as I think it is
more "feeling" of this kind of a party!!

During the party, a lot of things went
by. On a big screen, the organizers
showed up a lot of demos, videos and
notes. One of the MAJOR ones, was the
"Global trash II" -by the Silents/Amiga.
Which was a demo, played in on video.
By doing that, you can use endless
sequences of pictures and animations.

One of the negative aspects with a
party of this size, is that there are so
many things to steal, like cartridges
and disks. We in Cross lost about 50
disks and two cartridges. On the other
hand, other guys had it worse. Some
drives and external memories disappeared
into a bus on the parking lot. As this
was discovered, the police were called,
and much of the stuff got back to the
right owners. It seems as the bus were
used as a base for the crimes.. Still
we heard that nobody stole anything, the
stuff was bought of some unknown others.
Mysterious..

 The democompetition were somehow a
disaster. The Light crew were going to
pick out the 10 best demos, and then let
the other demos stay unseen. This is not
a good way of doing it. The other coders
than the ones from the 10 "best" groups
have made much effort in doing them
aswell as the others...
Enough about that. Let us see which
groups made through to the competition:

TPF, Noice, Fairlight, Antic, Topaz
Beyond Force, Princes, Oxyron, Origo
and then Extend.

THE WINNERS OF THE DEMOCOMPETITION ARE :

             ORIGO / ELYSION
       eyond Force / Partytrap
             Antic / Lunacy 5
----------------------------------------
THE WINNERS OF THE GRAPHICSCOMPETITION :

               HTH / WRATH
           Creeper / Flash Inc.
              Atte / Extend
----------------------------------------

All in all, this was a great party, if
you look away from the dirty toilets,
amigas, noisy halls, dirty floors, bad
hamburgers and the lack of originals..

As usual the parties haven't got any
MODEM-lines...

I would like to thank Light for this
party, and I hope you guys don't mind
the small complains. This is things we
have to count on...

A lot of guys showed up at the party,
and I'll try to twist my tired my brain
and print the names of those groups I
can recall at this late night..
Let us begin with...US! CROSS was there!

I TANGO of CROSS would like to send a
few kick in the asses to ONE special guy
who was responsible for this report
being destroyed... I had written it all,
and were about to save it, when he
easily pulled out the power from my dear
computer.. About 30 blocks of text
vanishing into nothing! If he had been
standing on the other side of the table,
I could NOT have been responsible for
my actions.. Thanks, Deathangel/Triad!

Tango of CROSS is signing off!!!!
     TG-ACME and Dr.Coldcut of CROSS
       aswell as MOTLEY of VISION!
