+ THE PULSE MAGAZINE - THE JULY EDITION +

Welcome Dear readers to the 16th edition of the internationally

world of action within the Cracking, Demo and Modem-scene.

the C64, be sure to get hold of the latest editions of
THE PULSE MAGAZINE - released every month.

Comments from the Editor, 1st. July 1995
---------------------------------------------
Welcome to another edition of THE PULSE MAGAZINE, this one
the second release since our comeback. This edition should
therefore be taken as clear evidence, that we are back as
a steady released magazine fighting in the name of the C64.

Ah, the summer is finally here. Best of it sofar, was a 3 day
grill-party, and from then on its been rain and heavy wind all
mixed together to spell - C64 time. As most of you probably
would ask, howcome THE PULSE release in July - they never
used to do that? That's true, but we decided to continue with
our work, as we all know returning to the business can be a
rough trade. We are getting the hang of it though :)
Though thrilled about holding another copy of THE PULSE in
your starved hands, we cannot serve you properly this month.
Being summer and all, some of the staff have taken the right
(which is understandable) for a break, most of us have been
through some pretty demanding exams you know (inc. myself).
Due to that, we have had to cancel 4 of our most respected
chapters: WORLD OF DEMOS, PROFILE, MONTHLY RELEASES
and TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE.

There are different reasons for every cancellation. WORLD
OF DEMOS was destroyed by the Internet, PROFILE was cut
due to time problems, MONTHLY RELEASES still has no host
and TDJ cancelled TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE due to great
shortage of rest caused by stress from the exams.
I hope that our otherwise always patient and loyal readers will
continue to have faith in THE PULSE, a trust that we will
reward with a continued flow of the best of entertainment and
news the market has to offer.

THE PULSE are searching for a group to call home. I feel that
a magazine with the character and potential such as this one,
deserves to be released under the colours of a C64 group.
Please contact with your offers, I will announce my final
decision, if any, by the 1st of September. In closing, thanks
to readers and competitors for the flattering welcome back!

Signed,
General Editor, DUKE.

insight about all the corners of the scene - in short, we cover
the world, because the C64's business is our business.

of all editors in the staff of THE PULSE MAGAZINE. Each
editor is of their own seperate opinion, but are free to
express that opinion without having to respect the overall

News journal

     + T H E N E W S J O U R N A L +
   ---------------------------------------
Welcome to another edition of NEWS JOURNAL. We bring you
an update of the current scene situation, as it looks in the
eyes of the News Journal reporters. Join us every month,
for an inside look at the news with competent views.

In order for us to have the most complete news report, we
need the help of our readers, to send us news and reports.
If you are situated where the action happens, you could join
us as a European Correspondent. We can be contacted using
any of the addresses or numbers printed in PREFACE. NEWS
JOURNAL is as always anchored by DUKE, assisted in the
news gathering and reporting by CROSSFIRE. Welcome!
* The Danish lead cracking-group, MOTIV 8, has had a quiet
month of few events. The German GREENFROG/ex.TALENT
joined MOTIV 8 as a coder. He is to do parts of an upcoming
co-op demo between PADUA and MOTIV 8. STONE and ANO
discussed joining the demo project, while other contributions
might be done by EDDIE and ICEBALL. Rumours are being
spread within the ranks of MOTIV 8, that the Norwegian
trader, TG-ACME, has left the scene. It is yet to be confirmed
though, but according to MOTIV 8 boss CROSSFIRE, he has
vanished completely. Speculations are that he has left the
scene in silence, not having been heard of for a total of 6
months now. Meanwhile ICEBALL announced he will be joining
the information highway, the internet, as soon as the summer
vacation is over.
* ALPHA FLIGHT announced the full return of MURPHY, who is
back after trying out a career as a DJ. Meanwhile ALPHA
FLIGHT was caught in another scandal. NEWS JOURNAL's
CROSSFIRE reports on the latest scandal, to have hit the
scene by surprise.

Yet another stone in the on-going AFL-scandals at the
moment has seen the light of day. English group MAYHEM now
accuses REAM/AFL for ripping a picture drawn by MET of
MAYHEM for a selfcoded game released under the AFL-label
named "BAD BALLS" about 8 weeks ago. MAYHEM brought
evidence to the scene, and there can be no doubt. Investi-
gation has shown, that REAM is responsible for all the fuzz
about ALPHA FLIGHT at the moment. The re-crack of "NUTS",
and now this. REAM released a note explaining the facts about
NUTS, but neglected, or failed, to answer to the accusations
around the "MISFORTUNE PREVIEW" re-crack. Furthermore,
as this goes into print, ALPHA FLIGHT still has not replied
to MAYHEM, atleast no reaction which has been received by
any of the members of staff. CROSSFIRE, for NEWS JOURNAL.

* The FANTASTIC FOUR CRACKING GROUP appears to be
going through what could be described as a somewhat slow
period. HAIN and MAJA even had trouble explaining the actual
meaning of F4CG (attempts were: FANTASTIC FOUR CODING
GROUP, FANTASTIC FOUR CUTE GAYS) - all ment in good fun
and laughter ofcourse, but still slightly ironic and hard-
hitting about the period they are having. Also ANTITRACK is
having quite some trouble on the internet at the moment. He
had a lot of different account, but they are all being closed
one by one, and with the busting of his groupmate BITMAN a
couple of months ago, he might be facing a grim future when
it comes to showing up at the IRC. Let us hope nothing will
happen. Meanwhile, the Italian trader, KING, was spotted
calling the boards once again, proclaiming an active return
to the scene. The American CYBORG ended a lot of problems
and discussions by joining both F4CG and AVANTGARDE. This
means DREAMPARK will be shared between the two groups.
F4CG and MOTIV 8 now has a co-op FTP-site in Italy. It is
maintained by PLAYBOY/F4CG and co-maintained by
CROSSFIRE/MOTIV 8. Address is called "BBS.CC.UNIUD.IT"
and in the library "/PUB/C64" all the latest stuff can be
found (incl. all fresh editions of THE PULSE MAGAZINE!). The
site was, to begin with, only an F4CG-site, but they decided
to share it with MOTIV 8 after a while.

* The biggest co-operation of 1995, ONSLAUGHT+HARDCORE,
announced they wanted to decrease the huge amount of
members in the future. This means a lot of its current
members are working hard not to be subject of becoming the
next to get the boot. The first ones to get kicked this
summer, were the Danish graphician team, SMD. Furthermore
RAGE was kicked out of HARDCORE due to internal problems.
The third member to get kicked, was to be the most
contriversial event in the co-operation this summer. Here is
NEWS JOURNAL's CROSSFIRE reporting.
CHOTAIRE left/got kicked from ONSLAUGHT+HARDCORE, and
took his board "PIRATE ISLAND" with him. This due to
arguments with HOMEBOY, who allegedly stole a file with card-
info from a private partition on TPI without getting
CHOTAIRE's permission. TPI ran as HQ for PHREEDOM, an
American h/p-group, but CHOTAIRE joined ALPHA FLIGHT
and now, with the re-building of PANDORA, his board runs as
EHQ for AFL and PANDORA. ESCAPADE is also still AFL EHQ,
though DOWN BY LAW is now finally 100% online (meaning -
no more crashes!) and is, besides being O+H HQ, now also WHQ
for DOMINATION. CROSSFIRE, for NEWS JOURNAL.

Due to the goodbye from CHOTAIRE, the Danish board
WEST POINT is announced as the new EHQ for [O+H].
With the decrease of 3 members in the co-operation, they
started their wild goose chase for new additions. Beginning
with the Germans HARD SEQUENCE and DODGER/ex.DYTEC
who joined ONSLAUGHT. Also CARLOS/APS joined as a coder.
APS stands for ART PROJECT STUDIOS, so it doesn't need
many guesses to figure out who will be first-releasing their
games from now on. A talented Polist coder, THE LAST
HACKER, joined up with ONSLAUGHT DESIGN. Meanwhile, THE
HUMAN renamed into TICKET. In closing, JAZZCAT spread
the rumour, that LEEWAY/AFL had joined ONSLAUGHT, but
denied it only the next day - apparently he had gotten a
little "confused".

* The recently deceased PANDORA has returned from the
grave, re-formed again by most of its former members. Members
sofar (according to CHOTAIRE/AFL) should be: SKY, DOMINO,
ATTRACTION, AMPUTATOR, PETE, THAGE and MEPHISTO.
Ofcourse this means the death of newcomer group NEMESIS,
revealed last month. CHOTAIRE's board PIRATE ISLAND runs
as the temporary EHQ of PANDORA, together with ALPHA
FLIGHT.

* The notorious cracking-group LASER, with its roots into
the beginning of the 80's is announced dead. The strongest
member and leader of LASER, STEVE, left LASER and then
began the short struggles to stay alive. After SHUZE had
given up on the challenge, LASER was officially dead. The
remaining members flocked to other groups, SHUZE remains a
member of ALPHA FLIGHT though, JP joined MAYHEM,
JUPITER joined POWERAGE, KHAN joined AVALON and RAZOR
RAMON joined BRONX. The rest of the members not mentioned
here remains groupless until further notice.

* The return of the notorious demo-group MEGASTYLE
PRODUCTIONS is still heard in echo's across the scene, and
the enjoyment of seeing them active appears to be just as
huge. An exciting addition was to be announced, as one of the
original members, the trader PRICE (formerly known as FRODE)
is said to return to the Norwegian side this summer. INZANE
and RAGE, currently serving in the army, is also said to return
this summer, so plenty of activities are in store.
Meanwhile SHOK RAY' (ex.SORCERER/TALENT) joined
MEGASTYLE PRODUCTIONS as a graphician. The updated
memberstatus therefore looks as follows: CYCLEBURNER,
SCROLL, PRICE, VENGEANCE, SPACE-ROY, SHOK RAY',
INZANE and RAY.

* According to RELAX MAGAZINE, OXYRON is far from dead.
The notorious German demo-group made the new and excellent
outfit for RELAX MAGAZINE, and is said to be working on a
brand new trackmo. With many of the OXYRON members looking
towards the PC for new adventures, the MUSICIAN P.R.I.
returned to the side to contribute in full power for the C64
section of OXYRON. The memberstatus is: ASMODIS, AXIS,
FUBEN, GRAHAM, PRI, RRR and TTS.
* The other major co-operation, SCS+TRC, appears to have
taken an early start on the summer-vacation (CBA at the
ROSKILDE FESTIVAL in Denmark). The SCS+TRC WHQ, THE
DUNGEON, is reported to be put back online after being
formatted for the thrid time. But no doubt the sysop of
THE DUNGEON, ALCHEMIST, will be hoping for a better future,
another formatting-attempt could put the board out of action
forever. Meanwhile, TITANIC decided to leave AGONY, in
order to become a full-blood member of the co-operation.
According to VANDALISM NEWS, SPLATTERHEAD is to become
the new editor of the soon coming VANDALISM NEWS version
released on paper. No doubt we will all be looking long and
hard toward that release.

* The number one cracking group in the world, AVANTGARDE,
was able to announce the legendary editor of CORRUPTION,
JACK DANIELS, has returned to the boards, and may become
another brick in the current rumour that AVANTGARDE is to
release the contriversial CORRAMBA (CORRUPTION and
MAMBA into one). Another positive event from the
AVANTGARDE side, was the return of the former CRAZY
cracker, WEASEL. He was also spotted on the boards, and is
said to be wanting to pick up his cracking activities again.

* As announced in the June edition, D'ARC from TOPAZ
BEERLINE has finally finished his army duties for the Finnish
army. He stated the desire to make TOPAZ BEERLINE active
again, maybe resulting in the release of PROBLEM CHILD 4.
* The legendary coder, UNIFIER, announced he had left the
demo-group SPIRIT. This could be a sign of lacking interest
in the scene, we have not been informed of this as of yet.

With those final words, this concludes the July edition of
NEWS JOURNAL. The news was gathered by CROSSFIRE and
DUKE, and as always edited by DUKE.

We are still looking for European Correspondents to assist
us in our news coverage around the world. If you have
ambitions to try out the C64 media, please contact us
through the addresses or numbers posted in PREFACE.

Signed, DUKE.

Satirica

+ SATIRICA - THE AUTOPSY OF THE SCENE +
     -------------------------------------
Welcome back to another package of Satiric stories, provided
to you by General Editor, DUKE. Since the last edition, a lot
of people have sent me letters and post-cards, as well as
notes throught the Internet. To those who took the time to
write, I would just like to say "The same to you". :)

You have entered the domains of SATIRICA, the place where
anything can happen - and do happen. This is where we have no
restraints, but a vivid imagination. This is satire that bites
hard, so feel warned. Please note, that SATIRICA is only done
in pure fun and laughter, and therefore should not be taken
personally offensive or serious.
- The infamous un-named king of the British isles, BOD of
TALENT, announced on 'The day of the homeless', a day of
which British people collect money for the homeless, how he
always wanted to help the homeless. BOD stated to the people
who met up at the celebrations "Oye, get off my back. I really
wanna help the homeless, but I don't know where to contact
them". After the celebrations, BOD told the press how he
remembered the advice his father gave him - "He told me,
never take candy from a stranger, unless he offers you a
ride". Apparently that was a clear enough hint for BOD, and
because of his unstabile home situation as a child, he feels
he must help the homeless. "But in my own way I help the
homeless, I really do. I am always looking for a girl who needs
a room" BOD stated.
- THE SATIRICA TOP 5 LIST -
------------------------
TOPIC : Five ways suggesting that being a scener can inhibit
you in your attempts to do well in the exams period.

5. Being an active scener, you forget about the exam, having
just the bus-ride to school to study the subject.

4. Instead of writing down the answers to the test, you begin
making notes for your contacts.

3. You leave the written exam after finishing only half the
test, because you want to down-load the latest edition of
THE PULSE (what?) on the schools computers.
2. You show up late to an oral-exam, with your voice broken
from being up all night on several conferences.

1. Two words : C64 RULES!

- The father and husband of FAIRLIGHT, BACCHUS, released
a book featuring his thoughts about getting married and
starting a family. The book entitled "I should've said NO!" is
the current bestseller in Sweden, and also includes numorous
colorful situations he's had with his wife during the marriage.
BACCHUS stated to BEN DOVER, in a promotion interview for
the book in the latest edition of SHRIEK, how he felt his wife
was the worst cool in the world. "After I eat, I don't brush my
teath, I count them. My wife always tells me to finish the food
saying there are people starving in Africa. I told her, have
sex honey, there are people who are horny in jails". BACCHUS
explained marriage was not exactly what he had hoped it to be.
"Nah, it's tough to be married, you gotta be mature, you know.
Like my wife and I we have our own arrangements. One night a
week I go out with the boys, and one night a week she goes out
with the boys, Erhm!". BACCHUS is still glad he got married. He
recalls when he was single, he could never get a girl. "Once I
saw a girl at the bar, I said- Hey honey, you're a good looking
chick. How would you like for me to be the rooster? She told me
to go pluck myself" BACCHUS sighed. In the end of the talk,
BACCHUS burst out in laughter, remember the weeding "The
priest told me, you may kiss the pride. Hah, after what I had
already done to the bride, he told me I could kiss her!".
+ NATURES CORNER - WATCHING LEGEND UNDRESS +
  -------------------------------------------
Welcome dear readers, to another episode of Natures Corner,
with your favourite host, POWERPLANT of LEGEND.
(Scattered applause).

What a crowd, what a crowd. I am glad you all could make it
tonight, all three of you. I've got a message for the last guy
in the crowd- Hey, I'm broke. You can't pluck a balled chicken!

Oh well. I am alright now though, but last week I was in pretty
rough shape. Last week I saw my phyciatrist, I told him, Doc,
I keep thinking I'm ugly. He told me to lie in a coach face
down. What a let down, I tell you.
Are you kidding, I know I'm ugly. I stuck my head out the
window the other day, and got arrested for mooning. Life aint
easy I tell you. The downfall doesn't stop there. I'm getting
old working as a lawyer, It's tough being out there on your
own. When you get old you get a lot of things, I got autriatos.
You get stiff in every place, except the place you need it.
Life aint easy, I tell you that much. And it seems I just
graduated from law-school.

Nah, I tell you, I'm getting old, old. I got no sex life, are
you kidding. If I squeeze into a parking space I'm sexually
satisfied. Anyway, enough of me telling you all my problems,
I think I'll just go and shoot myself - so until next month,
I'm POWERPLANT, saying "Life's a bitch, and then you die!".
- The beloved Tasmanian devil, JAZZCAT of ONSLAUGHT,
explained on a conference how he had eaten the last remaining
dingo on his farm. JAZZCAT explained to the shocked people
on the conference, how he had a fight with the dingo, and his
girl-friend told him the dingo was right. "And she told me this
right infront of the dingo, now the dingo's got no respect for
me anymore" JAZZCAT said in an angry tone. JAZZCAT, who
is known for his eating of dingo's, and editing of DOMINATION,
is on the lookout for new dingo's, although they are hard to
find. "I'm still sure I did the right thing eating my last
dingo, the damn thing just had no respect. My girl-friend
threw a ball, and the dingo waited for me to bring it back" -
JAZZCAT cried.

- The huge and infamous German known for his overweight,
AIRWOLF, was on the CNN show LARRY SING LIVE last month,
explaining the diet problems he's had all through his life.
"Yeah, it was tough. When I was a kid and went to the local
pet store, the people kept asking how big I get" AIRWOLF said
in a nostalgic tone. "My doctor didn't help me loose weight
either, he told me to run 5 miles a day for two weeks. I called
him up, and I said - Hey Doc, I'm 70 miles from my house"
AIRWOLF continued. An embarrased LARRY SING said after
the show "I couldn't help laughing, the guy's hillarious - he
should join ANGRY!". AIRWOLF finally made the production
room make good use of the BEEP tone, when he gestured his
doctor. "I told my doctor, I broke my arm in two places. He
told me to keep out of those places" AIRWOLF shouted.
- The American movie "DUMB and DUMBER" has taken Europe
by storm, and is currently being visited by everyone at the
movies. The Amsterdam press caught DEFF and NTI at the
city's biggest Cinema, after watching the movie. DEFF stated
he enjoyed the movie a lot, claiming the title sounded familiar
to him! The famous couple, DEFF and NTI, is expected to leave
for JOLLYMOOD this summer to shoot a movie, they still have
no idea of what movie that would be. " I would like to tell all
our fans, that we still haven't given up on doing a re-make of
the old legendary movie, THE THREE STOODGES. But it will be
difficult, with PARSON out of the scene" NTI stated.

- Meanwhile at the house of ALPHA FLIGHT:
  "Co-op? We don't need no stinkin' co-op!".
- THE SCENE MOVIE CHARTS -
-------------------------
Welcome to the best of action released in the scene this
summer. As you all know, many of our colleagues in the scene
also have seperate careers, working as actors in the famous
JOLLYMOOD. This time we bring you a look at the top 5

5. OUTBREAK.
- Starring ENDURO/FAIRLIGHT.
"Damn, SHOUT is released into the general public. What am I
gonna do next?".

4. NATURAL DINGO KILLERS.
- Starring JAZZCAT/ONSLAUGHT.
"I have reached a second stage. Dingo's may look like sweet
animals to you, but to me they are scum. Burn baby burn, die,
fry, explode.. Aha, ahahahaha, hahahahhahaha. Cut!".

3. ONSLAUGHT+HARDCORE's LIST.
- Starring 50% of the scene.

                                       THE END

  know what is going on.

2. The demo-scene is terrible at working with the media.

3. The mags are to blame for not printing demo-scene news.

4. This is a tricky question. I do not know.
- OPINION POLL NUMBER 3 -
-----------------------
What is your opinion of the competition that goes on between
the available magazines in the scene today?

1. I think it can get pretty tough.

2. What competition?

3. The mags are good at coming up with new things constantly.

4. They should not compete this much, it does help anyone.

5. I do not know, and do not care.
+ SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT - MEDIA OR TABLOID +
    ----------------------------------------
The media in today's scene has profound power to be a
positive influence. But is the media aware of its strenght,
and what does it do with it? That is this months topic, as
SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT takes you behind the curtains of the
notorious C64 media - the magazines.

No doubt, the C64 is able to provide the best of magazines
comparing with other systems currently leading the sales
charts. But we have years of experience to draw from, the PC
does not. A friend told me months back, that he predicted
there would never be such an organised underground media
as the one on the C64 - and that may be true.
But what is it that makes the C64 scene so different and
special from others? The people!

Looking back to the late 80's, the magazines were at a peak
where its importance for the scene was concerned. But it was
never the biggest and most important factor - as it is today,
some might debate. The magazines back then carried a larger
more personal touch than those of today. Today's demanding
readers might have found them dull and short, considering how
large the scene was then. But understand the scene was not
aware of the infinite possibilities doing a magazine had - it
created order, eliminating the underground kaos problem.
Stars were born, and carried into the spotlight. Contacts were
made, and the charts opened new doors for better products
through newfound competition.

The magazines of the 80's were short of a lot of things, that
we often take for granted these days. They had very little
scene analysis, focusing on the facts instead of the reasons
that led to them. The news were short and insufficient, picked
up from the last disk notes mailed to the editor. The charts
were also lacking, especially the ever so important analysis -
but things were very confusing. In an age of extreme
popularity of the C64, things changed constantly. New groups
popped up from nowhere, claiming the title as the best in their
fields. Wars got nasty at a period, and honour was the most
important thing a scener had - class seperated beauty from
the beast. The magazines had a part of starting all this,
being the source and destination for every scener. Returning
to 1995, we still see some of the old characteristics in
ourselves - and in the scene. We are still loyal to our groups,
although some have taken a fancy to being in more at a time,
looking towards the media to keeping us informed about the
scene occourances (who died?).

True, the scene is old and grey, but who says you can't
function just because you get old? Sure, the scene functions.
But old things need extra care and attention, something the
modern scener has forgotten. If you stop watering your plants
they will surely die - the scene works the exact same way.
This is why the media should take the first step towards
giving the scene a good physical, fixing the rough edges,
making it young, fresh and back in the state we all loved and
cherished. I think a small group of people who were active back
when the scene was one big unknown territory, can't help
sticking around - in hope of seeing the scene as it was when
they started out. Ah, wishful thinking will seldom amount to
anything - which is why we should take action.

Today the media has found a good and steady balance of news
and entertainment, bringing the subjects the modern scener
of today prefers. We have undoubtedly become better at doing
magazines, years of experience and a more intense involvement
from the sceners has resulted in that. But we have yet to find
the few elements that looks towards the future, debating
things to better the scene. With an everchanging world of
computers, we should strenghen ourselves, to ensure the
scene's existance. No doubt none of us would enjoy turning on
a different computer, finding but only kaos and dispair.
There will never be another scene, this is the last one - so
let's protect and nurture it.

- THE MONTHLY TIMELINE -
-----------------------
What year did the following events occour?

- The infamous demo-group, BONZAI, was formed. SONNY,
LUXOR, LOTUS and TRAP were among the founders.

- PULSAR is the # 1 cracking-group in the charts.
SHADOWS is the # 1 demo-group in the charts.

- The cracking-group UNICESS was formed, comprising of
members from LIBERTY, DANECREW and COLDCUT.

The answers can be found later in SCENE ILLUSTRATED.
SOCIALISM - Just a dirty word, or..?
            ---------------------------
             Written by Crossfire/MOTIV 8
             ----------------------
YES..! ..after reading the last issue of THE PULSE MAGAZINE,
I finally found my mission in life. DUKE wrote very elegantly
about the old scene and how things used to be, and compared it
to this day in age. I previously wrote another article in a muc
earlier issue of PULSE about socialism in the scene, which was
not very well received - In FACT, some boneheads called me a
NAZI just cause I had my own opinions - I resent that, but
obviously that is the scene of today. Anti-nazi slogans every-
where, which is just FINE - I am NOT a NAZI - BUT I don't see,
why these "brave" fighters against rascism in the scene
doesn't get the hell OUT of here and start fighting the thing
from it's grind - Your neighborhood is just as good a place as
any to start. Hell, I hate rascism as much as the next guy, but
you don't see me putting anti-nazi pictures in front of what we
put out, do you? It is really ridicolous, when you stop to look
at it - It's not gonna help one bit, and in the end, it has all
been figured out by someone who wanted a bit of commercial.
Sure, now go on and say "Fuck you Crossfire, you don't know
what you're talking about!" - But see, that is where you are so
wrong! Never before have we had a scene like this one, and I
got to admit that I actually prefer the old one that he had 4-5
years ago - It's not that I'm dealing in beans, cause I have
learned to thrive on it, but think of it - The reason why the
scene was so much alive back then, was, yes - SOME is NOT..
..gonna like what I'm about to say here! - Because the ELITE-
fraise was indeed VERY much alive back then. Sure, now I am
arrogant saying this (I know the drill by now), but I think any
one from back then would agree with me. People really should
guard their own mouth from accusations, but then again, we've
the right to speak freely, right? SURE! What a crock! I am not
self-demanding in any way nor am I ignorant or arrogant, but I
think I deserve a LITTLE respect from the newcommers. Any-
one knows about my little escapade with a certain Dr.Zzap of
X-RATED last year. This was a case which got TOO far - I ask
him to follow the rules on DOMINIC, which isn't too much to ask
considerating the fact, that 30 other users could without pro-
blems and he attacks me, I rag him to his grind, and he starts
a lot of lame shit, which I won't start to comment here.
Since then, others have acted up. To begin with, I didn't wanna
draw in names as examples, and I'm not gonna do it either. In
the example I'm about to drag out,I won't need to anyway. Any-
one calling our danish board "Mount Olympus" the last couple
of months will know whom the following addresses: WARNING! -
PARADENTIAL ADVISORY - EXPLICIT LYRICS (take it as a
joke, if you may!). I am FED up with a couple of dickheads who
have been acting smart against me over the last months. They
are SUPPOSIVELY in an elite-group, although they are only in
to PAY for CARDS, but I'm sick of their big mouths. Two of the
three danes was kicked out of MOTIV 8 a year ago whilst still
being on probation - just as far as they ever got in EPIC as-
well. These jerks have never made it really far in the scene,
to say the LEAST, but because they THINK they know a lot..
..of self-invented crap about me, they think they got the right
to be on my neck. All these three numnuts are newbee's in the
scene, and no matter if I had kicked them from MOTIV 8 before
I still think they should show some respect towards...ANY...old
scene personality. It's not that I don't get any attention in m
hometown or anything like that - God knows I got so many other
things to do side ways with the scene, but I think that the tim
I do have for the scene should damn well be appriciated some-
how. Therefore, take this to your hearts if you entered the
scene in 1991 or later - Anyone of this catagory IS considered
newcommers, so show some damn respect!!! It is just an advice,
cause talking to the great mass I've been in touch with most
recently, the scene IS about to turn, some people are about to
burn their fingers VERY badly, and the only way to be in this..
..scene in the future, IS actually to start showing a bit of
that damn well deserved respect the elite-groups deserve. In
case you claim there IS no elite, it is easy to disprove RIGHT
here - Look it up in a dictionary, and it'll say that the ELITE
term means the best within an area, so claiming it doesn't exis
would be equally stupid as painting one half of your body red
and go cockalidoo like a chicken (Hi Rainier!:) ). I'm not gonn
list ANY groups right here - Look in the first-release charts,
and you pretty much got the list of the biggest elite-groups
of today - with few exceptions, but take those who always pops
up every month and you got it. Demo elite is just as easy, just
check the demo charts.. See, THAT is not very hard, now is it?
Just always remember, that respect is NOT something you just
GET or BUY, it's something you gotta work HARD to EARN !!!
Finally, I'd like to end this article getting something very
clear. Lately, I was attacked by a polish guy on the IRC, and
talking a bit back and forth, it turns out, that he was pissed
with my group, MOTIV 8, because of the very harsh reviews,
that our ex, SUN DANCER, used to write in this magazine, and
I'd like to get it straight in anyone's minds, that the opinion
of Sun Dancer is NOT necessarily identical to ours, therefore
do NOT judge a whole group by one of it's members statements,
ok?! I believe this is why Duke has inserted that small block i
"Preface" as well, but I just wanted to get that out of the way!
The guy I talked to, whose name we won't mention, was IN FACT
the one who wrote that much talked about anonymous anti-note
that also involved ME some time ago. The writer thought, that
Sun Dancer's views was alike with the rest of the..
..groups, but this is WRONG! Why we accepted Sun Dancer into
MOTIV 8 after he was kicked from REGINA is a topic which will
NOT be digged into, but we DID not, nor DO we share, his views.
Therefore - People, THINK, will you? THINK!!! WE are able to
think for ourselves, which is why we are able to draw our own
conclusions. I'm very sorry that writing something like this ha
to be necessary, but to me it seems that the entire IQ of the
scene dropped a couple of hundred points the last 5 years.
Sorry, I know it sounds rude, but think of it! Anyway, PULSE
MAGAZINE would love to receive your reactions, but use your
heads before you sit down and start writing, ok? People is also
welcome to e-mail personal reactions to me, if they should want
to. E-mail address on internet is: C01-DEC5102.AARHUES.DK
THE PULSE MAGAZINE is widely known for having its open..
..discussions, and this probably is the best topic to take up a
all, so if you felt offended by this article, don't go behind
our backs calling us "NAZI PULSE", any idiot can do that, and
HAVE, so make a difference, speak and sign your OWN NAME,
which is a thing newcommers apparently is not very good at, at
this time in age.

We were all newcommers once, but there is a remarkable diffe-
rence in the ways, that us different people in the scene today
gained our fame. Some of us worked HARD for it, others just
got it served on a silver-plate.

As CROSSFIRE had the chance to, others also will - let your
opinions be heard in SCENE ILLUSTRATED. I would also like
to point out, that THE PULSE believes very highly in the
liberal point of view freedom of speech. But we do not want
to be judged on the contents or language mailed to us by
independent sources. Use your option, and let your voice be
heard through THE PULSE no later than July 28th.

..another month has passed, and your humble servants return
to your monitors, being honoured having the privilige of enter-
ing your room and your mind..!

..yeah.......RIGHT! ..and if you believe THAT.. ;)

Anyway, finishing off the light side, it is time to get serious
if that is even possible in the heat of the danish summer..

We, the staff, has decided, that the european boards doesn't
really get the attention that they deserve, which is why we
will review a bunch of the very best of them in the next issues
We started last month with what many people call the best in
Scandinavia and what others call THE best in Europe. This
month we move a little down the map, towards Germany, where we
find a system named THE SANITARIUM..

If you wish to get in touch with us, you should either leave me
e-mail on the internet on my address which goes like this:

             C01-DEC5102.AARHUES.DK
             --------------------
..or you can call MOUNT OLYMPUS at +45/7591-0920 and leave
e-mail to me (user # 2!), OR finally, you can just try to catch
me on channel # c-64 on the IRC... .. .
                                       Turn the page!
Well, let's hit it off..

This time the spotlight fell upon a board located in Germany,
by the name of SANITARIUM. We asked the sysop of the board,
HOLY MOSES of EXCESS, for details, and before we could
blink we got what we bargained for..

SANITARIUM is a C64-ONLY board, that in NO way supports
other systems. It runs a NEARLY backdoor-free version of
the much used Cyborg Modded C-Base v3.1. It is online 24 hrs
each day and support all between 300 and 2400 baud connects.
This may however change soon, as the sysop might install new
software that allows the board to run as much as up to 19.200
baud (the C64 is TOO slow for that, but it's possible to fix!).
Graphics on the board is drawn by the sysop himself, Holy
Moses/EXCESS, with help from Xenox/ALPHA FLIGHT and EB.

In the past, the board used a FD4000 with 3.2 megs to store
wares, but it changed into a HD40, which the system also runs
on, for the one and only purpose to prevent errors and even-
tual flaws that tends to appear with C-Base (..cause let's face
it, C-Base is FAR from perfect!).. :) That means, no additional
1541's, 1571's, FD's or anything, just PLAIN harddisk-driven..
Finally, the board is running with an original Supra 2400 modem
connected with a Rex RS232.

             + THE PULSE MAGAZINE! +
          ..You'll love it...You'll tell a friend..
The partitions for the subs and e-mail is well around the 2000
blocks, to ensure that there will always be enough to read..

Subboards, of which there are 8, looks like the following:
-----------------------------------------
     1. Pay your duty
     2. Uploads
     3. News for Nitro
     4. Requests
     5. Deutschlaender
     6. C-Base altar
     7. Other Cyberlands
     8. Private
Not much of a trick, all speaks for itself!
As for the U/D-section, it looks like:
---------------------------
     1. New wares
     2. Demo's/Mags
     3. C-Base
     4. Lores/Medres
     5. Ories
     6. Request
     7. Tools 1
     8. Tools 2
     9. Tools 3
     10. Oldies
     11. Private
Again, no tricks! Everything is concise!
The board has about 60 users, and Moses were shocked when
he realized how many were fakes, and as he puts it very appro-
priately himself, a board is not a nursery-school (although
that impression is sometimes easy to get, especially if you
check the warsubs on merely all boards! .ed), so they were ALL
waxed the minute he realized which were fake-users and which
was REAL users. Fake users is hardly needed...Now, ARE they?

The story of SANITARIUM tells, that it was first put online in
late 1990/early 1991 running freelance. Later it got to run
under the TRINOMIC-label, also supporting the magazine by
this group, GENETIC DREAMS. In those days, though, it was
not called SANITARIUM, but PUBLIC EXECUTION..
                                      Change page!
Later, it got to run under the TRANCE-label and then changed
its name into SANITARIUM. Holy Moses left TRANCE, he closed
the board and joined the Amiga-scene. In November 1994 he
decided to put the board back online and that is how things are
now - running under the EXCESS-flag, supporting their maga-
zine, NITRO.. Since it was put back online, it's been running
perfect with NO problems, except for the occasional lamers,
trying to format the system, but which system with respect for
itself haven't been experiencing that at one time or another..

                  THE SANITARIUM

Meet the press

         + M E E T T H E P R E S S +
       -----------------------------------
"The media in the scene has profound power to be a positive
influence". Those were the opening words in an article about
the media written for this edition of SCENE ILLUSTRATED,
make sure to read this article after MEET THE PRESS!

MEET THE PRESS is the official reaction chapter for this
magazine, therefore we would like to urge everyone to send
us their opinions about THE PULSE MAGAZINE, using the
addresses and numbers posted in PREFACE.

This month we have reactions, as well as magazine reviews of
RELAX and PROPAGANDA. Your host as always, DUKE.
- REACTION FROM JAZZCAT/[O+H] -
------------------------------
Firstly, great to see this mag back in business again. I will
not even make comments on why the old outfit was used and
other things like the release chart absence, as this is
completely understandable, on what must have been, a hard
road back.

The text, as usual was of high quality standard, perhaps the
news department was slightly lacking in quantity. The only
thing THE PULSE really needs is a larger amount of chapters
covering all areas, I think the Internet and legal game
industry updates should be included.

A great comeback issue, and I am 100% positive that
THE PULSE MAGAZINE over future issues will return to its
former high quality, standard and also give my own magazine
some more competition! :) Great stuff!

- COMMENTS FROM THE EDITOR -
---------------------------
Well, thanks a lot for the encouragement DAVE, it's nice to
know you are still paying attention, heh. I appreciate the
criticism as well, although I have an excuse to most of what
you described correctly as negative compared to the "old"
version of THE PULSE. It is true that a lot of people have
wondered why I decided to use an old outfit of THE PULSE,
it kind of took me by surprise as well. No, the reason was
quite simple. I did not want to use our previous FULL-PAGE
outfit anymore, because it was difficult to read according to
many - and when the text, as I have always said, is the most
important in a magazine, then I had to find an alternative to
that outfit. Not having an active programmer by my side at
the time, there was no new alternative, therefore I brought
back an old outfit - one I still find okay, dispite the few
bugs. SYNDROM is actually working on a new outfit as we
speak, but it will probably not be released until the September
edition. Which means you will all have to do with this one till
then, but it is better than waiting for the new outfit and not
release (like some do). I think we can all agree on that. The
fact that we should have had a difficult start is not really
true. We had sort of a lazy beginning. We wanted a new outfit,
and waited around for that. When it did not come, I just said -
"To hell with it", and we started releasing. We are still short
of a few staff-members, but they will come around in the next
couple of months. We are not searching for just anybody, but
the right people who can supply the magazine with great stuff
on a monthly basis.

This is the exact same problem we are having in the Internet
and game department. Although we have solved our problems in
regards to finding someone to do an internet chapter, we still
need someone qualified to do the MONTHLY RELEASES. We are
known for being one of the best sources for the most accurate
release-chart, therefore we will wait with patience till the
right person comes along. Anyway, to conclude my comments,
I think atleast this edition proves that our demo-section is as
strong as our previous one. And with me and CROSSFIRE back
in full gear (some may debate this though) we are close to
former strenght - and reign in the scene :) ..

- VANDALISM NEWS APPLAUD THE PULSE -
----------------------------------
The latest edition of VANDALISM NEWS, edition 22, praised
THE PULSE MAGAZINE, in ways I think it has not been before
by any of its competitors (except for receiving a total of 2
awards in PROPAGANDA). We bring you parts of the article,
written by VENGEANCE/[O+H].

THE MAGAZINE REVIEWS - COMING UP SOON!
THE PULSE provided the eternal SPARK that set me back into
SCENE MADNESS! Yes, that's right, the rival magazine. I was
as you would have seen printed in PROPAGANDA, losing
interest. Anyway, back to the subject of THE PULSE, the
spark that burned inside of me was started again. THE PULSE
returns, and causes a lot of chat on the boards, while many
say "it is not up to standard". I for one disagree with that
logic, DUKE is the best god damn editor I have ever had the
pleasure of noticing, and its surely an enjoyment to see a
magazine that is still up with the old rules and facts about
the scene. Read the whole magazine properly, and you will see
what I mean. ELITENESS is a special quality that comes along
once in a while, and finds certain individuals. DUKE has, and
will always be a strong believer in this, and I agree with him
totally about the changing of the scene. For example, I have
been criticized over and over for the way I edit VANDALISM
NEWS. Sure this is okay, everyone is welcome to comment
about the magazine and the way I write it, but did anyone ever
stop to realise that when I edited the magazine in the same
way back when it first started, no one complained? Did anyone
ever complain at ANTICHRIST for the way he has edited?
No way! Why start on the way I edit or for example the way
DUKE edits, its completely ridiculous. We only edit to the
style that we have come to learn from when we began. Most
newer mags use FRIENDSHIP as a quality. A style which in
my opinion was picked up from my good friend and ex.scener
REMIX/CLIQUE. To tell us off for the way we edit is stupid.
A magazine is a point of view, and a focal point for the scene.
Don't run anyone into the group because they are "arrogant".
The scene operates in different cultures, and in different
ways. As time goes on, things change just like with fashion,
music, etc. If a magazine can stand for the same belief's for
its whole scene existance, I stand up and give credit where it
is due. But if it is forced to make opinions just to gain
support and game, it is nothing but a FALSEHOOD and a bunch
of lies. THE PULSE in my opinion has stuck with its guns since
it came along and never in my opinion has it been judged on
FRIENDLY TEXTS, or how large the mag was. It has always
shown a great deal of style and for that the SCENE should
be grateful.

- COMMENTS FROM THE EDITOR -
---------------------------
Well, what can I say. The best compliments you can receive, is
that of your competitor, and my thanks go out to you MATT. I
appreciate the fact that honesty also works as a high
priority at VANDALISM NEWS, honesty that acts upon events
in their true nature - right and wrong. I agree with the fact,
that a large part of the scene media is afraid of offending
parts of its audience, therefore leaving out the most
important job - the media reaction. This means the votes have
become the media's true goal - not the responsibility of
maintaining the true colour of the scene.

+ THE MAGAZINE REVIEWS - WORLD OF MAGAZINES +
 -------------------------------------------
Welcome to the Magazine Review section of MEET THE PRESS.
This month I have taken on two excellent magazine, RELAX
MAGAZINE (June edition) and PROPAGANDA (17th edition)
both of which I had high hopes before reading. But first an
explanation of the point-system used to rate the magazines.

*          : Aweful
**         : Bad
***        : Acceptable
****       : Good
*****      : Great
******     : Excellent
SUBJECT    : RELAX MAGAZINE, JUNE EDITION.
LABEL      : BAD BYTES ENTERTAINMENT SOFTWARE.

This is the first time we have taken the opportunity of looking
at one of today's most promising magazine, RELAX MAGAZINE.
Although they have reached the 10th edition, you have to
consider, that most of those were put out 10 years ago, while
only 3 have been released since November last year.

With the splendid new outfit provided by OXYRON, they have a
great starting point for a future success. I especially like
the fantastic whole screen proportional up-scroll text-area,
and the great conversion of the old FRANKIE GOES TO HW
soundtrack "RELAX" performed by P.R.I. - Great stuff!
The editorial, mainly consisting of MARC and MAX of ALPHA
FLIGHT, along with RRR/OXYRON, does an excellent job in
my point of view when it comes to giving RELAX MAGAZINE the
journalistic edge. Especially RRR must be complimented on a
job well done, he is in my opinion one of the most talented
editors out there. I look forward to following his work in the
near future, atleast he is welcome to join THE PULSE at any
time. There is always work for talented people! :)

The RELAX program consists of the EDITORIAL, containing
more solid text than the average magazine - debate, news and
other interesting details can be found here. Their news
section, GLOBAL NEWS, is also peformed with excellence by
RRR - I cannot hide how much I enjoy his style. The RELAX
release chart is done by MAX/AFL and DEFF/AVT, which
seems to be no surprise, considering DEFF does most of the
release charts in the scene these days. No problem, he is by
far capable of doing that job, I just find it a bit sad that
every magazine does not have their own editors - no sense in
having the same release charts (there should be room for
second opinions you know). The Release chart however seems
to be done in a fast and somewhat slovenly manor, I really hate
when the points are not written directly situated under each
other. Sad to see they haven't followed up on RRR's excellent
style. The major question with Release charts is, should they
be comprised on 1 months release - or simply the releases put
out since the LAST edition of the magazine. The problem with
the last alternative, is that no one can call themselves the
best in a certain month - but in a certain magazine period.
That's not so cool, what do you think?

Moving on to the remaining parts of the magazine, they have a
good balance of chapters - the Board and Mail charts, the
interview section, the demo-reviews and the advertisements.
A cool chapter not to be missed, is the chapter called BACK
TO THE ROOTS, containing stories from old scene events.
This one about the contriversial meeting between OMG and
SYS (I am sure we all remember that encounter). The chapter,
written by MAX, takes the side of SYS putting OMG out to be
the bad guy. I cannot argue with that fact, but nor can I
support the fact that SYS wanted to fight. Violence has no
place, and to me is an act of defeat itself. It is for certain
not the acts of an intelligent man. Therefore I think both guys
were stupid to provoke this fight, which I am sure most of the
scene does anyway.

There can be no doubt, RELAX is a fine addition to the world
of magazines. I praise it because I feel they are here to stay,
and I seriously hope they will not wait another 3-XX months
before releasing another edition. In the hope that they will
follow-up on this excellent edition, I will give them the
following rating.

JUDGEMENT : *****

SUBJECT  : PROPAGANDA, 17TH EDITION.
LABEL    : INDEPENDENT.

"The show must go on" stated the General Editor, NEWSCOPY,
in reference to the tragic death of the graphician SCOPE,
which had understandably taken its toll on the PROPAGANDA
editorial. But back they were, and so it became the 17th
edition of PROPAGANDA.

Another happening, a positive one though, is the fact, that
the General Editor, NEWSCOPY, has now done more editions of
PROPAGANDA than ANTICHRIST - thereby meaning NEWSCOPY
can be considered the rightful editor and publisher of the
all-time great PROPAGANDA.
As always, NEWSCOPY does a fine job presenting his magazine
in a professional and elegant style, spiced with his excellent
English skills and symphatic personality. The co-editor, DEFF,
did an equally fine job with the release-chart.

Though PROPAGANDA had many of the things a great magazine
tends to have, it kind of appeared senseless and meaningless.
Reading the sentimental chapter OUR OWN WORDS, a tribute
to SCOPE written by various people who were friends of him,
made PROPAGANDA raise above us all - giving a good friend a
tribute, one fit for kings. I never had the privelidge of
meeting SCOPE, atleast I do not remember him if I did. But it
may not have been the death of a close friend, even an
acquaintance, but one of a fellow-scener. This is therefore an
occasion that should be mourned by us all, and PROPAGANDA
succeeded in pulling everyone together doing just that. I find
that remarkable, and looking at it professionally, it was one
of the best chapters ever written for a magazine I have seen.
A big compliment for NEWSCOPY, for the idea that had true
meaning and soul.

Returning to the magazine, although it may appear rather
pointless compared to what PROPAGANDA had gone through, I
would like to compliment a job well done. It appears
PROPAGANDA is back on a steady road after problems with
delayed editions and staff difficulties. I think the solution
has worked out fine, and with the work and dedication put
into it by NEWSCOPY, it seems PROPAGANDA has been
re-born. Leaving out the demo-scene will hurt its possibilities
for becoming a true number one in the scene, and definitely
hurt its judgement from us. But having done a spectacular job
this edition - and a perfect and inspirational tribute to
SCOPE, I will make an exception. It may also help to add, that
NEWSCOPY has grown to be the editor I respect the most,
not only for this edition's achievements, but overall.

NEWSCOPY has finally succeeded in making PROPAGANDA what
it is, not what it used to be. An achievement which can only
be rewarded in its true manor.

BEST DEMOGROUPS - JUNE 1995 [Remarks]
---------------------------------------------
* BYTERAPERS and CAMELOT in a close race for the 2nd
place. But, I'm very certain that if this chart was compiled
from other magazines than SKYHIGH, CAMELOT would be
higher than the guys in (B).

* FAIRLIGHT made a little move from 6th place to 3rd place,
although we don't see an awful lot of activity from FLT. Als
FOCUS made a little move, they're namely out of this chart,
I think it's quite strange, as they've just signed on JEROEN
TEL and before him, a bunch of other dudes. The keyword is
ofcourse to release something which isn't just another demo!

* THE MASQUE, not the film - the demo, is without doubt the
reason for GRAHAM/OXYRON's jump from number 10 to 6. It's
entirely coded by him, so I guess he deserves it.

* MR. SEX/BYTERAPERS still going strong and moving up the
charts, while SLAMMER/CAMELOT and BOB/CENSOR seems
to be going down. Speaking of CENSOR, I'm afraid they've
had their time in the scene, atleast judging by their latest
attempt to CENSOR that they haven't done jack shit lately.
I'm speaking of BLA BLA, from The Party 4 which looked just
like an old STARION demo... Just added some samples to it!!!

---------------------------------------------
* DANE/TRIAD seems to suffer from the Gfx-redraw-thing, so
he had to leave this chart. But, I would still say he's an
exellent graphician, just look at the latest DOMINATION! By
the way, at the time when I first saw his redrawn picture of
that scanning of a girl, I knew ofcourse what he did and I
also liked what he had done to the original picture. But, I
would never see it as a 'crime' what he has done! In fact, I
think he just did what a good graphician ought to do! I woul
also like to defend JOE/WRATH as he seems to suffer from a
similar SCANdal. You should know how much work there really
is making a scanned picture look good! By the way, I feel sa
to read that EXTEND is dead... May you rest in peace...

* Remarkable: JEROEN TEL/FOCUS received a 6 positions
better place than last issue! FANTA/PLUSH, a rather new
talent in the world of audial arts hits the charts starting
out with a 6th place! Seems very active by the way...

---------------------------------------------
* AVANTGARDE managed to get infront of the SUCCESS+TRC
co-op as they scored the highest grade on all of the
   cracking group charts this month.

* ATLANTIS was finally recognized by the voters and that
payed off giving them a 10th place. Also the HC+ONSLAUGHT
co-op received a few votes, but only in the very latest
magazines, therefore not giving enough points to enter the
chart! But, let's see next month!

* By the way, did you manage to find HOLGER? Hint: [ ] = who?

BEST CRACKERS - JUNE 1995 [Remarks]
---------------------------------------------
* The legendary POWERPLANT is still a major asset to
LEGEND, this time mysteriously moving 1 spot up the chart!
The same goes for HAIN/F4CG, BACCHUS/FAIRLIGHT and
MR. WAX/CHROMANCE who also moved 1 spot up!

* CBA/SCS+TRC, CROSSFIRE/MOTIV 8 and MOONCHILD/FLT
have been spotted on this chart before, so I would say that
this chart could use some new faces once in a while. Anyway,
how hard can it be to vote for someone else than the usual
mob of gangstas? Personally, I wouldn't vote for anyone
who writes 'cracked by' in their intros, when the original
was just a copy they got from someone else!

BEST MAGAZINES - JUNE 1995 [Remarks]
---------------------------------------------
* SPLASH finally convinced us all that they're back for good.
But, nevertheless they went out of the chart this time. Also
THE PULSE here, was wiped out... I guess that the votes for
both of these magazines were quite old. The new season's
votes should then start coming in sometime during the next
months I think. Then we'll see who's the real number one!!!

* ONSLAUGHT starting to gain control over the magazinechart
with the usual VANDALISM NEWS and now also DOMINATION,
eventhough DOMINATION is released by JAZZCAT and not
   under the ONSLAUGHT label.
recent sheets, exposes it as a soon to be no.1 mag though!

BEST SWAPPERS - JUNE 1995 [Remarks]
---------------------------------------------
* CALYPSO/AFL/AMNESIA kept his wellearned 1st position,
although he was voted some positions lower in some mags.
But, by the looks of it, INTRUDER/AVANTGARDE will soon
be taking over CALYPSO's position, looking at the fact that
INTRUDER jumped from position 8 to position 2!

* LEMMING walked over the edge as LEMMINGS are supposed
to do, so he has vanished from the chart. In addition to tha
I checked the latest AFL memberstatus where he didn't
figure as a member of the flight. Do I see a connection here
Anyway, the swapper chart is probably the one which is most
different from time to time, as you can see.

OVERALL CHART - JUNE 1995 [Remarks]
---------------------------------------------
* The strength of TABOO seems overwhelming, showing off the
one production after the other. Their latest moves gave
them a jump from the 10th to 6th place with only 4 points up
   to SCS+TRC on 5th place.

* EXCESS and CAMELOT seems to be loosing popularity and
   fell down 3 places.
