Charts - part 2 And welcome back to the charts, hosted by Shuze of Alphaflight. Enjoy! MAGAZINE IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE MAGAZINE IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE Pos. Vandalism is starting to really dominate the charts, and Nitro is trying to stay with it, but it's slipping. Then there is a big gap before The Relax and The Pulse (which really dived up the charts this time, maybe it will go higher again next time?) I hate to use the term, but it does really seem we were dredging the bottom of the barrel to find enough magazines to fill the 30 places, with some truly dreadful magazines down there. However, Internal may rise higher over the next few issues. Skyhigh actualy gained place 6 (!!!!) with 269 points, and Revealed got 22nd with 45 points. The only mag that missed the chart was Outdoor/Excess with only one point..... MAGAZINE NOT IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE MAGAZINE NOT IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE Pos. Dream/??? 3 Hmm, sadly I have no idea WHATSOEVER who most of those mags are run by, simply because I don't get them at all, if some kind Polish guys could see fit to tell me them, I would be eternally grateful! We all recognise Vitality, mainly because even though it is in Polish, it still usually challenges the English mags, and is easily Poland's favourite. There are no last places, as there is no point, with this being a new charts. Is it just me, or do most of those names sound like sexually transmitted diseases?!?!? CRACKING GROUP CRACKING GROUP Pos. (*) Xenon 14 There really is no doubt in the minds of the voters who is number one, but the next 4 places, as ever, are undecided. Alphaflight do well to hold off F4CG considering that (when these charts are being written) they have no real Polish section. Again, I think Chromance will be dissappointed with their position, as will Onslaught. Notice that the reason why there are so few votes for lesser known groups is that the Skyhigh sheet only has 5 places for cracking groups, and the 5 most popular groups are usually the only ones to gain the places (and they did this time). Hitmen have another disasterous performance, being way down the table, with only 4 points! Just missing the 15 place cut were: Citadel - Hardcore - Amnesia - Jabole - Dytec SINGLE CRACKER SINGLE CRACKER Pos. Last Cracker Name Points --------------------------------------------- 1. As with the cracking group charts, there is no doubt who the ruling cracker is. Hain should fall due to his inactivity quite soon. Didi is still progressing up the charts, and may soon overtake the non-cracking Derbyshire Ram. Why Bacchus has risen is beyond me, but it is good to see both Dodger and Jaydee making a move towards the top. (*) Bren/P.I.P. 15 I decided to limit this chart to 10 places, as to go as far as 20th place would actually have resulted in having about 30 people in the charts, as after place 12 there were only people with 1 vote. Again Electric rules the pencils, but Astaroth really is looking like he will make a challenge for the top! I think this chart brings some credibility to the other Artist's charts, as it shows that Cruise is not just being voted number 1 because he is Polish, but instead, as I thought, because he is so talented (this chart shows that by him not being on number 1 here, or so I think, anyway!). Well done to them. I make a policy of entering all votes in this category, no matter how bizarre they may be. HOWEVER, even I was not quite ready to read a vote for YOGI BEAR! Maybe you sheet fillers have not quite grasped the idea of voting yet? I won't say the name of the guy who did it, as it would be humiliating. However, I guess it is probably more humiliating for Austria to be beaten by a cartoon character!!!!! SWAPPER SWAPPER Pos. Last Scener Name Points --------------------------------------------- 1. (18) Tiatmat/Galicya 9 (14) 2GE/React 9 OK, Intruder holds onto the top spot yet again, but Spermbird is still in contention. However, those two just dropped a lot of contacts, so they may not maintain their positions. Derby Ram is constant as ever, and Calypso shows his first fall from grace, but he will probably stay inside the top ten. Rap makes a massive entry, so well done to him (and thanks a lot, too, as you have very clear writing on votesheets!!!!!). I fall a bit as well. El Banditos, Violator, and Macx are the 3 guys to watch in the charts from now on, so watch them FLY!!! Just missing the chart were: Blaze - Coda - Zan - Almighty God - Chaotic - Didi And that's it for the charts for this month. I hope they made some interesting reading, and you all saw what you wanted to see! Shuze/Afl'70
