As everybody should have realized by now, then
this particulary chapter was left out in the previous
issue. Why, well actually there were 2 reasons:

1, There only were 2 or 3 reactions (short ones), and
2, there wasn't enough disk space for the chapter.
This time there should be enough free space, so I
really can't find any excuse to exclude it.
No, seriously... I am proud to present, again, the re-
action chapter in Skyhigh. - This time my man Cupid
has got the privilige to answer aswell. So you should
expect a little of this, and a little of that, this time.

But why wasting more of this valuable diskspace with
craptalk. Time to get it of the road..

Lights..... camera.... aaaaaaaaand ACTION.

Yo Bizzie,

Here's Hornet(ex Viper)/Agony Design. Again I have
the opportunity to write a reaction to such an ama-
zing mag like Skyhigh (no asslicking!). Well, seven
month passed since I left the stupid polish army, and
seven months is enough to take a closer look at the
the scene and to chose one's own faves... But I have
other words to write. My reaction, that was publish-
ed in the last issue seemed a bit strange, even to me
although I wrote it. Now, I TRY to correct my views.
Generally, I do not have any problem with Skyhigh as
a bunch bits'n'bytes (I mean outfit). Everything looks
nice and works perfectly. The colours have been
choosen correctly, point 4 it! Only the musics irrita-
ted me a bit, they should be more catching to fit to
the rest of the mag. Also 3-4 tracks per issue are
too less, how about 8-10? That's been all about the
outfit, now let me express my feelings about the
texts. Perfection from BK and Mad, great work from
The Mistress (as always-I agree with her 100%), nice
article from Shuze, only the charts by Caprice De-
sign look suspicious to me, err,or let's say done in a
hurry. Of course, I am not going to tell you, that they
were cheated (or? joke!), but they were a real big
mess. For example are you 100% sure, that Astaroth
is in Asphyxia? Not in Agony? Wanna more? The charts
claimed, that Shaman of Taboo belongs to ASX (again)
and that's again a mistake! Owen left Triad ages ago,
he's also in Agony now. Next one: Compyx (roolz!) had
a go in FACES? Pleez, Caprice, I know that you call
yourself a god, but anyway, try to be more precise
and compare the info in your head with reality. That's
the one and only thing, that makes me sick, the rest
is great! The nostalgic part of my soul told me,that
Oldie-charts are needed in the Skyhigh. I am sure
that people start voting for Rob Hubbard, Matt Gray,
Manfred Trenz, Red, Sarge... if they only do have a
place on the sheet to write down their favourites
from the 80's... What do you think about this idea?
Enough about that... I'm a bit older than you write in
the Birthday chapter, my birthday is 23.08.1973 and
not in '75! Please, correct it next time!

Despite of the reaction, I want to tell the readers,
that I was surprised by Bizzie, who gave me a help-
ing hand in the last issue, even though he didn't
know me personally! The scene can't die with such
a person like Biz Kid/CML... That's all what I wanted
to say...
Miro (Hornet)

Hiho Hornet, as that pierced dude next to me allowed
me to give my share, too, I (Cupid) will tell something
about your reaction, also. Bizzie will tell you about
most of the stuff, I just wanted to say something a-
bout the oldie-charts thingy. I think it's quite a nice
idea,as a lot of people are really strange enough to
vote for the mentioned guys in real charts, and that
spoils a lot. But,the problem with it may be how to
define an oldie-scener? Should it be someone, who
officially left the scene,or just someone, who has
been inactive for aeons? Tricky, right? And a perso-
nal thing: Don't just say your english is lame, you do
have some nice metaphors in there, just keep track
of the language, and you could be a good writer in-
deed! Ah,cut it...
Yours,Cupid/Avt

Well thank you Cupid. Maybe I could have my go now?
Thank you...

Yep, your last letter was a bit strange, so that is
even greater to recieve another letter from you. 1st
of all: the scene will not die with a person like me...
Well I think it is quite exaggerated, but sure it was a
nice gesture from you. All I did was to bring your let
ter.. This is what Skyhigh is all about. Just take a
closer look at the new started chapter by Cupid and
see that he cares just as much. Being realistic we
know that the C64 scene will have to live on, via the
newcommers and the fanatics..

Ok back to your letter. You mention the tunes, or
rather the amount of tunes, once again. Lately there
has been quite an discussion going concerning the a-
mount of tunes in Skyhigh. People have moaned about
3 (or actually 4!!) is too less. Well I say : BULLSHIT.
4 tunes is an okay amount to me; and untill I see a
very good, and convincing, reason you shouldn't ex-
pect any changes.Sorry, but I am very stubborn when
it comes to that!!
About the charts. Hmm, yeah we have had some com-
plaints about this before. I myself am very bad in
this area too, so I can't do it better. But another of
my coeditors probably can. So I have taken the con-
sequence and replaced Caprice Design with Shuze. So
in the future all the work will be done in England. All
I can say is, wait and see my friend.

About your addy; ooops my mistake.. But it'll be taken
care of.

Ok my friend, I hope that this answer is satisfactory
for you. If not, then don't hesitate to write another
letter to me. -Ok, best of luck to you in the future.

Another one from the man, who's handle is somehow
familiar to me :)

Skyhigh #18 was great. A real huge amount of text,
and, fortunately it's closer and closer to the old
times. I mean, the mood, and the way of editing this
great mag. I've read Skyhigh since the 5th issue, and
the first was the best, it was funny, friendly, and
really interesting. From the 10th or 11th issue on,it
started being "not-that-interesting-it's-like-other-
mags",you know... There were only a few chapters to
read, "only" interviews, news, addies,etc... I sensed
a decline of quality, that fortunately (or due to
your hard work) stopped and SH is the best again.
Maybe Revealed is a competitor. Skyhigh is like a
drug for me, I am waiting for the next issue...

Hmm,nice words from you,but I disagree,that Reveal-
ed is a true competitor, as you cannot compare it to
one of those "normal" mags like Skyhigh,as it deals
with totally different subjects, despite the fact, that
it's not been released for ages, and a new issue is
not in sight :(... Whatever, over to the danish cookie...

Cupid

Yeah, I agree 100% with Cupid. Revealed is not, and
never has been an competitor to this magazine. The
magazine by Kring has written it's own orbituary by
stuffing it with cyber-shit!! Yep, I am being direct now
but it hurts to see how Kring destroyed Revealed
like that. It started out very good. Nice objective
chapters, great interviews with very known, and fa-
mous people. But then something happended. But hey
why do we discuss Revealed here???? Skip that!
I know you Gabor since a loong time!! I know you have
been following me and Skyhigh for quite some time
now. so it makes me happy to know that you say that
the magazine is on its way back on the right tracks.
Whether Skyhigh had a decline in quality or not, I
don't know. But I do know that inspiration has kicked
back big time. So I can promise you a real kicker in
the future. So keep on following me and my mag..
Respect...

As always, Skyhigh kixx, so it's impossible to write
a cool reaction. Keep on fighting,Biz...

Druid/Agony/Avt

He will, and he does not fight alone :) -Cupid

Yes I really feel the unity blowing around, between
me and my co-editors now.. You too deserve a piece
of the cake. You certainly reached out a helping
hand with your killer intro; and promises of more.. So
I think that all there is to say about it is, thank you,
and nice to have you on our side. Stay cool my friend!

Other comments:

-If you reenter the same chapter again by pressing
the * the $ sign will appear in the info line, why?
-Why is it still a camelot mag?

Greatrix,15.07.95
Reaction: Really organized.

Well,you surely were right,noone coded it :(,that's
why it was dropped (the vision chapter, that is). I
hope, that you'll be satisfied with the addie chapter
now,as it was a fucking hard work to take out all
crappy addies. Well,I also hope, that you'll keep in
mind,that "Useless" is a real subjective thing,and
could be "Fucking important" for the next scener!
About that dollar sign, why do you do such things
like reentering the same chapter? To be fair,we told
this nasty sign not to appear where it's not suppo-
sed to a 100 times,but it won't hear,maybe it just
feels "useless" anywhere else?
Cupid

Damn you found that hidden bug. SHIT!!! Well you can't
hide anything these days can you? Ok, I think we will
have to reward you for bringing the answer to the
yet not released competition in Skyhigh :

FIND THE DOLLAR BUG
FIND THE DOLLAR BUG

Oh shit, I forgot. We have skipped that competition,
because it was useless he he!!
About your other things; well some of the things
have been, or will be, changed. So why not wait a mi-
nute and see for yourself. Later on it would be great
to get another reaction from you. - And finally, why
is Skyhigh still a Camelot mag? Hmm, it could be that
the reason is that I am still in Camelot?? Ok l8r

Now,nice, that there are still people, who do not wa-
ste any more ink,than needed:

MAG IS OK.
KSIN/???

Thanx. Cupid

Thanx from me too..

Biz kid

What to say? As always good quality of texts,inter-
esting chapters and regularily releases. So,Skyhigh
is the #1 in the scene. What about more exclusively
tunes and more chapters about commercial scene,
for example charts and news!

That's all McValach/React

Err,it surely won't be a big thing to bring commer-
cial news, but how to do charts? Best gameproducing
crew? Best clone? Biggest rip-off? Tricky...

Cupid

Very nice mag, great tunes, gfx and chapters. May the
charts be with you! I love the extras chapter...

Phobos/Dle/Pwa

...And may my thanks reach you... Cupid

Yo,Jesper!

Here I am, Rap, with a little reaction. Number 18 was
an issue with resembles funny&sunny beaches all
over the world, most of the articles started with
descriptions of the current weather, cool! I hope,
that the weather won't hae too much influence on
the quality of the text (we all know, winter comes
soon!). What do I virtually want to say? Number 18
was too short! I read it in only 1.5 hours (without any
adresses and so on...). But anyway, the nice "summer"
chapters by you, Shuze and Cupid (Covers don't,
sorry CHAOTIC) let me forget about my troubles. Nice
work guys!
I'd like to see some more and updated articles by
MAD! Do you think about adding some more tunes in
in the future? You should! That's all, Rave in Peace,
yours,
RAP/Jabole

Well,yes,winter is approaching,but I guess,we do
have enough booze at home,so that we still will be
able to type in some lines without freezing to death,
maybe this will have a slight effect on the quality,
but there's a bit of loss in everything, right? No,se-
riously, I bet you won't be complaining about THIS
issue being too short, will you? I'll hand the mic to
the Bizman once again...
Cupid

Reaction from THRONE/Panic:

Hi Dudes, and Congratulations for your ruling mag!
The text quality is very good and so is the outfit! I
didn't like the new logo,though... The extras are a
fine addition to the text chapters. The old demos
come in handy for the newcomers (maybe). Anyway,
keep it up (Of course you will)!

Hiho, Janne,of course, we will continue, how about
premonition?
Cupid

Yeah, thanx for the nice words from you up north. It
is always nice to get a pad on the shoulder. Enjoy
this issue as well, and tell me if you still like it!

Biz Kid

Ok there we go for this time. A lot of nice reactions
from you out there. As mentioned then I hope to get
tons of feedback from you on this issue. A lot of
changes has taken place, and it is quite large. This is
most definetely a thing some people will nag about,
I am sure. But hey, before killing me for using too
much disk space, then better remember that it is only
a one-timer. So come on, don't rate this too hard. I
would rather like to know what you think of the im-
provements, that being menu, text, gfx or whatever
you can think of. Send me whatever you feel like, con
cerning Skyhigh issue #20.

I would prefer if you would write your reaction in an
40 chars upscroll editor or in a facenoter. But if you
would rather like to send me your reaction on paper
then it is fine with me (as long as I can read it!!!!!)
And the addy:

Ok, I am outta here, PEACE!!!
