Megacharts - part1 Welcome one and all to the REAL review of 1995, hosted by the local idiot who will offer to do anything, yup, you guessed it, Shuze. This chapter has the megacharts, which is the total scores that were awarded to people in the Skyhigh charts to people during 1995, from issues 15 to 19. By looking here, you will know just who really was the best in 1995. The actual votes were all counted up originally by Caprice Design and Biz Kid (issues 15-19), and we thank all our sheet spreaders during that year. The votecounter used during the year was, I assume, ULTRAVOTER 2.0 by Doxx/Noice. Biz Kid then added up the five scores that all groups people and productions got, then wrote them all in a (seemingly) random order for me to put in order, to write this chapter, and also to try and work out which groups people are in. What fun. I have used Excel 5.0 by Microsoft to sort the votes into order. Just thought I shoul credit that. Unlight 24 Well, it comes out as many people would have predicted, with Oxyron on top in 1995! Great efforts from Graham on his demos, and also from Fuben on other projects seems to be what secured this great place for a great group. A good score for Censor also, but not so shiny for MEGASTYLE, who maybe should be higher, just on the general happiness that was going around with their comeback, even if the first demo was a major dissapointment. Notice that Camelot is included, even though Skyhigh is a Camelot magazine. All Camels will be included in these charts. Just missing the top 40 were Exile, Caution, Visual Reality, and Chaos. Dissapointing scores for Chromance, f4CG and AFL did not really damage their positions due to all scores being poor. A very bad score for both Onslaught and Hardcore is due to them being in co-op and I do not think those points were counted. Although 400 points behind, that is a great score for the excellent MMS. Next year, when some other idiot does these charts, watch out for Fuben/Oxyron. He is most definitely this years most active cracker, so deserves his place. Ignorance should be in the top 5. A great score for the very talented Moonchild/Fairlight, whilst Ream suffers a ttalibre. Didi should also be much higher, after a lot of real quality cracking. Just missing from the charts are the talented Donar, Marc, Riddler, Masako, and Intruder (??). With 1900 points, Cruise still only managed to fend off Electric by 6 (!!) points, and Creeper holds onto the top 3. Then, 300 points go by, and there's Joe, then 250 until Ogami! Its amazing that the guys in first second and third places have more than double the points of Carrion in place 7! A very good score for Cupid, although he will rise higher, as will Astaroth next year. Just missing the non-stop top 40 were WHW Design, Alias Medron, Jetan (!!), and Felidae. Time has come..
