  y0 dudes!

as i announced in the last issue,
the hits and flops look a bit
different now compared to the last
  issues !
from now on i will list up all the
  first-releases made by european and
american groups. for that i simply
look on the boards which version is
first, of course this way isn't 100%
sure, as some games can't be released
in the states due to fixing or
  language problems. another point is
  that a us-group sometimes doesn't put

a game out as first, although the
european group cracked it first !
(e.g. time soldier, first cracked by
i+t or dominators, but put out about
2 weeks later by genesis and xds !)

anyway, i will try to do this job as
fair as possible, but i take no
guarantee that i am always right !

  no lame shit-games allowed!
  +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
  (e.g. kfi and dic games!)

nevertheless i will keep on testing
  some games !

the games aren't listed in a
  chronological order !

i don't list the best versions as i
  don't get them all!

  here it goes...

  atomix /legend/nei
  killing machine /dom/xds
  adidas football /dom/xds
  beach volley /dom/xds

  vendetta /extasy/inc
  dominion /dom
                                    (+)

  raster runner /illusion/atc
  blockout /nec

  strike aces /atc
  blood money /htl/xds
  radramp race /dom/xds

  centauri alliance /nec
  worldcup foot.manag. /lru
  streedrod /nec
  elite squad /c+lt/xds

  robots /lru
  silver blades /atc/nec
  galaxy force ii /i+t/(xds)
  manchester united /action/fan
  domination /afl+p/xds
  turrican /c+lt/tcom

you see, it was a good month for
games, nearly 30 games has been
  released. i hope i didn't make any
  big mistake !

ok, now enjoy the following game-
  tests...

                                    (+)

    international 3d-tennis - palace

this 3d-tennis simulation is the best
i have seen on the c64 so far.
firstly there are many options like
  1-2 player, tournament, training etc.
  secondly the gameplay is very
interesting as you can switch beteen
9 different surveys on the playing-
field. the players are looking very
funny and the 3d-effect is good
converted. if you select an advanced
option you can play the game only by
  yourself. for beginners, the computer
makes most of the movements of your
  player. valuation : 89

         turrican - rainbow arts

turrican is a great hit made by
  manfred trenz working for rainbow
arts. the game consists of 13 levels
and every level is composed of
  different graphics and gameplay.
mt made nice graphics and the coding
is very well done, the scrolling for
  instance is very smoothly. every
level contains new ideas, so you
never get boring on playing this
game. the music and the digi in the
beginning sound pretty good to me.
  to invest your money significant
simply buy this game. valuation: 92

      raster runner - mastertronic

another proof that also budget games
can be a real hit. raster runner
  consists of the tron-gameplay, but
its convertation was very well done!
music by the german music group, the
  sidbusters, and graphics are really
  good. valuation : 80

       blockout - electric dreams

this game is a kind of 3d-tetris, you
look at the stones from the top.
  the gameplay arises much fun,although
there are nearly no graphics. v : 73
