yoho brothaz
yep this is the plaze where you'll find
the reaction from the scene about this
magazine.
i haven't recievd much from the scene
this time. what is happening?????
is everybody going to 'winter-sleep' or
what the hell is going on ...
i hope, and want to believe, that every-
body is preparing for the x-mas party,
and therefore 'hasn't got time' for
'normal' scenelife!!!
naive! well maybe, but i have to believe
in something right??

well anyway, let's take a look on the
reaction for this issue!!!

              go get it...

----------------------------------------

the 1st one is from an old c64 dude who
has returned from a trip to the (l)amiga
and realised he missed 'home'

----------------------------------------

hello biz kid of oxyron

you've probably never heard of me :
matthias carlson (calle).
well i'm a supporter of the c64 scene as
as you are. let's say i'm a user of prgs
made by other people. -no, not a real
lamer, i can code a little bit, and i
know how my 64 works; i'm getting better
-oh man, i've been looking for you guys.
i thought, i was the only one left in
the entire world using the best computer
that have ever excisted.
my newest demo is from '87, i thought
there would never be released new soft-
ware, so i started programming alone,
untill a month ago then i got stucked.
my brain said as well as you stops too,
no one can help you, no one programs any
more, you're dead. until yesterday, a
friend of mine, a swapper on amiga, got
a c64 disk he lend over to me. million
dollars couldn't have made me happier.

            skyhigh issue 13

a disk magazine, what a great idea; soft
ware is really being released, and the
c64 has a scene and it's living well.
surprices like hardwares, ram expansions
interlaced graphic, and the possibility
to make the processor work with 4mhz.
surprices i thought i would never get.
i've written to e.b.e.s. and told them
i'm interested in their hardware. but
there's no use for me having great stuff
without any software. the demos that was
made this summer, and this months power
pack how do i get these, and new demos
& diskmags, how can i support the scene,
coz i was one of the first on the c64,
and i'll be the last one to leave it!

so please biz kid write i'm in desperate
need of help and right now you are the
only one who can help me .

            -----------------

  yo, matthias!!

1st i would like to thank you for your
  very nice letter.
it's quite strange to know that just a
single issue of this mag, and your
eyes are opened again.. but it's cool
  to know...

obviously, you have been away from the
c64 scene for quite some time! you say
you newest demo is from '87. no wonder
you haven't heard of all the new stuff
  -a diskmagazine, whata great idea!!
yep, you are absolutely right, but
please don't give me or skyhigh the
credits for that. i/skyhigh is just
  another mag in the row...

you ask how do you get the demos and
stuff made this summer ! well that's
actually pretty easy! take a look in
the addy chapters!!! here you'll find
a lot of dudes who wants to help you
out. write 'em a note and mail 'em a
disk (maybe with this mag on...) and
simply ask them if they want to swap
  with you....

i'm not the only one who can help you!
i haven given you a hand, now it's up
to you (or swappers who see this) to
  do the rest.

good luck, and welcome back to the c64

                                BIZ KID

----------------------------------------

the next one is by fanta of plush/bass
with some answers for my questions!

----------------------------------------

here is a small reaction on the question
you asked in skyhigh #13.

has my style changed? > well, i don't
think so. you always have been a
friendly guy and that's another reason
why skyhigh has become so popular.

am i getting soft? > maybe a little bit.
but not much! you must at least not have
any fear of saying your opinion in the
future. and if you have to, then even in
a 'harder' way...

has skyhigh become "too friendly"? >
too friendly? of course not! skyhigh
isn't too friendly, but some other mags
are too unfriendly.

                       fanta/plush/bass

  yo alex!!

thanx for the answers. i appriciate
your words. i'm glad to hear that some
one think and feel the same way as i
  do.

once again thanx for beeing so honest.

                              stay cool

                                BIZ KID

----------------------------------------

yo biz kid.

great mag, text etc.. but please include
musicplaying in the menu.

yours, mr.perfect/abdominal

  you marc.

thanx for the short, but nice reaction
unfortunately i will not install music
in the menu... i have been asked that
exact question a few times now, but
  still i don't think it's a good idea!
but i know you survive anyway!!

                            take care

                              BIZ KID

ps. wcw+wwf is cool, but try check out
  the wrestling on euro-sport...
  it's a lot harder,and you see a lot of
the wrestlers which you don't see any-
  more. e.g. : road warrios/lod. further
more a lot of wrestlers like: vader,
123 - kid, tony halme (ludvig borga)
and much more are often shown here..

  enjoy.....

----------------------------------------

well as said, not a lot of feedback this
time. so i guess this is the end of the
chapter....

if you have got something on your mind;
please let me know!!!
it doesn't matter whether you write the
reaction on paper, in an upscroll editor
or any other kind of noter!! i'll do the
hard work and 'convert' it to skyhigh
format.

just send it to :
