       yappa dappa merry christmas

                    &

            a happy new year

finally another issue of skyhigh is out
again. many days have passed since issue
13 was released, and now issue #14 is
comming to you.

in last issue i told you all about what
a hard time i had collecting all the
text for the mag. this time it was much
worse....
beside problems with my love, there also
was another thing which caused this huge
delay... my group pal didn't send much
(besides rrr - which again did some cool
chapters for you!!!) for this issue.
lots of phone calls and letters have
been made for the involved members, but
nothing happened!!!

something was going on. but what ???

well maybe i should have known it after
the laziness for issue #13...
but now it's clear to me : oxyron is
dying!!!! yep that's right!!! tts and
axis both left the c64 scene. scrapper
has left as co-editor, so i had to do a
lot of work in the last few days!!
i haven't heard from pri for ages, so i
can't inform you whether he's still on
the c64 or not. but i have heard that he
has started composing on another system.

so oxyron c64 devision is more or less

               d e a d

with a bit of luck they will bring a
small demo at parties or whenever they
feel like!

i have just in this minute talked to rrr
of oxyron. he will continue his work for
skyhigh - cool!!! we talked about diffe-
rent things, including getting skyhigh
back to the regular release periodes. so
you should expect to get skyhigh every
6 weeks from now on!!!
we will do what we can!!!

so eventhough the future of oxyron looks
rather dark now, then don't worry about
this magazine. nothing will change,
except the delays! he he! be sure to get
it in the future aswell..

    - -- --- -------- --- -- -

as a result of scrapper leaving as co-
editor i myself will do the charts again
so please send the votesheets directly
to me from now on..

talking about votesheets :

i could use someone to spread votesheets
for me...
i expect you to have at least 80 contax
and to return the sheets rather fast.
i can provide you with the sheets, so
don't think about copying them yourself.
if you have the possibility of copying
them yourself it would be great! if not
then let me know and i'll mail you 100-
200 copies!!!

if you are interested then let me know!

send a letter/disk to :

well what have i got for you this time!

ofcoz there's the usually chapters,
which i won't comment now. furthermore
i have a text written by my good friend
nightshade of scs*trc. he has a responce
on the chapter by crossfire of motiv8
brought in the last issue of this mag.

more facts has seen the daylight concern
ing the x-fire case. read for yourself
and make up your opinion. a very good,
and well-written chapter.

this time i also did a kind of magazine
review. not a really review but check it
out yourself. you might get some hints
or tricks you could use in the future.

charts of '94... hmmm, what could that
be??? yes, ofcoz.... it's a compilation
of the charts brought in skyhigh through
out 1994. see who was the rulers of this
year! who's the best..

and then i, again, proudly can present
3 new exclusive tune in this issue.

this time these 3 cool composers gave me
their contribution for skyhigh. :

           -- ------------ --

               'disclosed'

   by zyron/antic/swemix/the remembers

           -- ------------ --

                 'viby'

              by echo/bass

           -- ------------ --

               'skyhigh 1'

      by decoy/excess/natural beat

           -- ------------ --

a big yoho must go to all of you.. you
are the ones who help me staying skyhigh

if other composers wants to help me out
with an exclusive tune then feel more
than welcome to send a tune (or more!!!)
to me. my addy is shown somewhere in diz
chapter, or in the first addy chapter!

i would love to see contributions from
everybody. (what about a tune from you
mitch????) yo jeff/cml/csp also the pro-
mised tune from you is awaited!!!

all you have to, is to follow the usual
simple rules :

      location : $1000 - $1fff
      init: $1000
      play: $1003

        ----------- - -----------

last but not least!! in the previous
issue of this magazine i promised you
the first 'issue' of tunehigh!!! as you
should know by now then tunehigh is a
new idea by me. i have collected all the
exclusive tunes used in skyhigh during
the time, and made a music collection
out of it!

i guess this is the first of its kind!!

only tunes made exclusively for this mag
are used. cool eh!! in this way i will
give all the composers the deserved
credits for their work.

...so biz kid does it again...

the outfit for tunehigh is coded by my
coola friend in camelot : slammer!!
yep the coder of the already legendary
demo 'tower power'.
but all you have to do, is to check out
the chapter under extras!!!

enjoy it!

----------------------------------------

well time is running and i have a lot of
things to do. so i guess i better end
for now. enjoy this issue and enjoy the
x-mas holliday.

         biz kid is fading away
