after some serious thought and
brainstorming,i have come up with
some quite interesting idea.

WHAT I AM ABOUT TO WRITE,WILL GIVE
YOU THE POWER TO BUILD UP YOUR OWN
SCENE REPUTATION,AND ENRICH YOUR
KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE SCENE.

I HAVE BEEN IN THE SCENE FOR ABOUT
SIX YEARS NOW (OH SHIT!) ,AND HAVE
REALLY THOUGHT HARD ABOUT THE
SECRETS TO WHAT HAS MADE ME WELL
KNOWN THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.(WE ARE
DEALING WITH A MEGALOMANIAC! -ED2)


you see,my personal qualities have
developed to quite a large extent
over the years,as have my scene
qualities.

SCENE QUALITIES CAN BE DIVIDED UP
INTO FIVE SECTIONS.EACH SECTION,TO
A LARGE DEGREE,WILL HELP YOU
SUCCEED -TO A LARGE EXTENT IN THE
SCENE- AND TO MAKE YOU A WELLKNOWN
SCENER WITH NEWER PEOPLE LOOKING
UP TO YOU.



^ LEADERSHIP

everybody develops leadership
qualities if they stay in the
scene.diz also goes for organising
different releases through members
but you must first master to be
your own leader.(haa? -ed2)

^ SELF-MARKETING

in order to be successful in the
scene,you must market yourself
well.infact,you have to literally
'sell yourself' to elite guys,but
another quality tied in with this
should be...

^ FRIENDSHIP
                                  t, you
so to get famous,you have to bind
friendships with the famous elites
which will inturn help you market
yourself.just think about it...

would you rather be swapping with
mr.frog of dogs or nightshade of
success+trc ? and who would you
rather mention in your greets.

< CUNNINGNESS

this can work for you in a number
of ways.to be cunning,you must not
only do a bit of sucking up,but
also make sure these work.oh,and
of course,you need cunningness to
build your marketing qualities.
eg.. plenty of contacts is plenty
of dollars.so use your mind to
cheat stamps,phone calls,etc.

^ TALENT

yep,you must in todays scene be-
come talented at something which
you can market yourself on.whether
it is graphics or music,or your
attitude !? who knows ? but you
must become talented at something,
so that as soon as people see your
handle,they will react.what comes   meth
to your mind when i say names like
electric,drax,etc.(digahole? -ed2)


YOU MUST ALSO BE PATIENT IN THE
SCENE,AS ONLY THE VERY BEST CAN
GET THERE IN A SHORT TIME.THINK OF
YOUR SCENE LIFE AS YOUR GROUP.

YOU JOIN A GROUP AND START OFF
QUITE LAME,UNTILL YOU DEVELOP YOUR
SKILLS THRU TRAINING,OBSERVATION,
AND UNDERSTANDING.

slowly your skills attract others,
and you start progressing your way
up the ladder (either through your
handle becoming famous in da scene
or receiving a promotion at work.

< THE COMPANY LOOKS LIKE THIS:

owner,managing director,managers,
supervisors,and staff.

< THE SCENE LOOKS LIKE THIS:

group leader,c0-leader,the famous
guys,then talented guys,and then
lazy guys.

YOU SEE ? YOU'RE ALWAYS TRYING TO
IMPROVE YOURSELF IN THE SCENE,AND
YOU'LL KNOW WHEN YOU'VE SUCCEEDED.
TRUST ME,YOU WILL.. (NO WAY! -ED2)

but one tip -once you're known,and
you do not do anything silly,you
can really go far with friendships
as well.


SO WHAT IS A TALENTED SCENER THEN?

TAKE ME FOR INSTANCE.I CODE A BIT,
SWAP,AND DRAW SOME GRAPHICS,AND I
CAN COMPOSE A LITTLE AS WELL (GEE,
HE RULES THE CHARTS! -ED2) NOW ALL
THIS TALENT CAN BE DOWN THE DRAIN
IF I CAN'T MARKET MYSELF PROPERLY.

TAKE FOR INSTANCE A BULLETIN BOARD
OWNER WHO MIGHT BE IN DA STATES.HE
IS IN FACT A LAMER,BUT BECAUSE HE
HAS A BOARD,I'M SURE THAT HE WOULD
BE A LOT MORE MARKETABLE'N'FAMOUS
THAN ME(SUPRISE! -ED2)-EVEN THOUGH
HE MIGHT NOT EVEN KNOW WHO TRIAD
ARE !? BUT THIS GUY MIGHT HAVE THE
BEST IMAGE TO ALL ELITE GUYS B'COZ
HE IS A USEFUL RESOURCE.

you know,more and more people are
going legal nowadays (like myself)
as they realise how fine the mags
look.

ONCE,I THOUGHT -AND WROTE- ,"THERE
ARE TOO MANY MAGS AROUND... STOP
PRODUCING SO MANY."  BUT NOW THAT
I HAVE MATURED,I CAN LOOK BACK AND
REALISE HOW FOOLISH I WAS (YEAAH!)
MAGS ARE DA MOST ESSENTIAL PART OF
THIS SCENE.

TAKE FOR INSTANCE THE CHARTS.THEY
KEEP PEOPLE INTERESTED IN SCENE
DEVELOPMENTS AND WHERE THEIR GROUP
IS GOING,ETC.

these magazines are like the daily
newspapers,delivered right to the
front door of your house (well,in
fact to the mail box)and they tell
what is happening in yer community
and throughout the world.

but it really is just about your
community,as we have all these
groups,trying to beat each other,
which is reflected in the charts.
ah,talking about the scene gossip,
it's a good thing as communication     m
makes this world go around my
friend.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE WITH THE MAGS
IS THE CONTACTS SECTION.THIS GIVES
US THE CHANCE TO DEVELOPE FRIEND-
SHIPS BETWEEN OURSELVES.

SO THIS IS JUST ONE BIG COMMUNITY,
UNTIL YOU HAVE SOME GUYS BREAKING
THE SCENE'S UNWRITTEN LAWS SUCH AS
RECRACKING,ETC.THEN THE SCENE
POLICE (OFTEN THE MORE ELITE GUYS)
REMOVE THESE GUYS FROM THE SCENE.
YET JUSTICE IS NOT ALWAYS DONE,AS
PEOPLE ONLY SEE FRIENDSHIPS AND
REPUTATIONS,NOT THE FACTS.WELL,THE
GUYS CAN SOMETIMES BE INNOCENT.

in the community,and i wish you
