this time we have a dobble-made
interview with two guys from
ORIGO, named CLF and DESTINO !
let's go
well, first please give me your
real name.
C: ville pettri venalainen
D: petri kinkkonen
and your age is?
C: 16 years
D: 18 in two weeks from this
hallowed moment
what's your job in your group?
C: coding, design, gfx & ideas.
D: swapper, organization & ideas
how many groups have you guys
been in, and what's their names?
C: 1st a couple of unnameable
shits, 2nd ALBION which was a
'member' of byterapers inc &
lazer for a short period. 3rd
brains and at last origo.
D: 1st some unnamable shits and
then albion and now origo.
how many members are there in
origo and what's their names?
D: i guess 11: bx, clf, destino,
crony, zardax. these six are
the former ones. later rock,
scorpion, cruiser and our
german members: aa, judge and
gordon joined. also alistar
was our member for one day
here at hz'91 but he left. if
anyone else says he's in our
group, he's a fucking liar.
i heard that a lamer called
blade has written in as a
'member of origo'. i find it
so sad to get killed in the
age of 15.
who came up with the name of
origo?
C+D: mixer (tinnerihumalassa).
when did you buy your c64? have
you got any other computers?
C: in 1983 or 1984, i had a vic
20 as a first computer & now
i've also have an amiga.
D: in 1985 or in the beginning
of 1986, and i've also got a
amiga.
when did you become famous?
C+D: 07:31:58 am on 16.4 1990.
what's your future plans?
C+D: amiga and the 64.
who are your best pals in the
computer scene?
C: the members of origo, beyond
force(not hazor), ex-dmaze.
D: all in origo, most of beyond
force(not hazor), all my
contacts and other pals, to
name some of the best: sys of
afl, goldrush of crest, deff
of illusion, raze of x-ray,
deff of illusion, skater of
censor, scanner, elvin of the
sharks and many other long
letter writing coolies.
who is the best coder, musican
and graphicsmaker?
C: no comment
D: no comment, except: bot those
ones in the charts.
how many hours per day do you
spend infront of your computer?
C: 0-12 hours(mostly 0).
D: 0-6 hours, sometimes more.
what do you think about the
scene nowadays?
C: i'm not interested in the
scene overall.
D: too many lamemags(i don't
mean yours(in this interview
(joke!))). overall it's just
ok, not perfect but anyway.
what do you think about cracking
and about cracking groups?
C: just the same, till i make
a game (everybody's own
business,i wouldn't care that
much but if i make a game in
the future it possibly give
me some pain.
D: part of scene aswell as
everything else. half of the
basis: coding or cracking,
nothing more.
what do you think about c64 big
brother, the AMIGA?
C: unlimited possibilities, i
like it and will probably
make many demos on it too...
D: the form as many writes,
'(l)amiga' tells me it would
not be wise to say anything
positive about it, right?
anyway, there's a big scene &
when i get enough of the c64
scene, i know it won't be at
least better there. but i
won't leave 64 totally before
it's final death.
are your group going to do a
magazine?
C: never!
D: always, what? nooo!
in your opinion, which is the
best disc magazine?
C: there's none CLEARLY above
others(sorry...).
D: what's your mag? hotshot!
seriously, there are some 5
to 10 mags that are ok for me
and the rest are diseases.
what do you think about our mag,
hotshot then?
C: 'one of the best'. clishe?
where?
D: look in the previous question
who is the biggest asshole in
the scene?
C: blade 'of origo', if things
we've heard are true.
D: tnt, the developer of anal-
scanner, the king of all big
assholes... and this was a
friendly praising, i hate
wars and shit like that.
please describe a lamer.
C: get a picture of blade and
check yourself.
D: acneface, slimy hair, biiiig
nose... no seriously, i think
most of those 'lamers' should
more likely be called as
beginners, true lamers also
exist. i think dudes that
cause others harm (especially
to get more fame themselves)
are the most lame beings i
can imagine.
do you guys often go to these
fame copy-parties?
C: once a year.
D: to all big parties which aint
too far away from finland.
hz rules!
do you have any idols in the
computer scene?
D: we appreciate the former
dudes of the 64-scene & also
all the cool demogroups ever.
but any special 'idols' we
don't have, we are what we
are and we've don't want to
be adored because that could
endanger our individualism,
we don't want to plaqiate
anybody.
do you want to change something
in the scene?
C: i find crusader's idea of
utopiaworld where we could
sell our demos lot impressive
but...
D: of course, but it's kinda all
right and it's impossible to
make things perfect anyway.
what are you doing in your
sparetime?
C: i don't have too much spare
time, most of the time i'll
use sleeping.
D: interesting: if i split some
hairs, sparetime is time when
i do absolutley nothing. i
guess i split some hairs.
do you have a girlfriend?
C: i don't have, or do i?
D: not permanent one.
what's your favourite:
(only clf's answer)
food: pizza
movie: bad taste
country: finland
computermag: zine
'real': donald duck
game: virus
music group: vibrants
'real': tangerine dream
sport: tae kwon do
animal: homo sapiens
what makes you happy/angry?
C: sorry but i'm too tired to
think about emotions right
now at the moment.
D: HAPPY: parties without any
shower (others stink?)
ANGRY: parties without any
shower (i stink!)
you have been offered a trip to
moon. you got a bag which only
can take 3 things. what would
that be?
C: nuclearpower plant, plenty of
uranium and a computer.
D: a civilization, technology &
a working agriculturesolution
(boat? what boat?)
and as a last thing, would you
like to say something to the
rest of the guys out there?
C: karjala takaisin! do you know
that there's a smurftown in
stockholm?
D: terveisia aidille. ELVIS is
alive!
