this month we have an interview
with zodiac's game partner and
LOGIC's graphixer, REDSTAR.

please tell us your real name?
- my name is SIMON LEIJNSE.

...and your age is?
- 20 years old.

what's your job in LOGIC?
- well, i'm the graphic-creator
  and i also do some swapping
  and coding.

in how many groups have you've
been in, and what's their name?
- i started in '86 and joined a
  group called MLC. i nov'86
  i released a christmas demo
  with a self-made picture and a
  RIPPED spritescroll (the usual
  scroller all MCL member used).
  i left in the beginning of '87
  and created some demos of my
  own. the autumn of '87 i
  joined SECTOR 90, created
  about 15 logos and then i left
  again. alone againuntil feb'89
  when i joined ASIA just becoz
  my friends in TEC happend to
  be there. three months and one
  demo later, TEC and I left
  ASIA to built LOGIC and here
  we are since then...

how many members are there in
LOGIC?
- four! ME, TEC, DNA & DASTARD.

who found the name, LOGIC?
- me and TEC.

when did you got your lovely
commodore 64?
- i got it for christmas present
  back in 1985.

whats your plans for the future?
- finish my and zodiacs game, do
  some graphics for other games
  and paint for our next, SOON
  COMING DEMO.

which guys is your absolutley
best friends in the scene?
- first of all, the members of
  LOGIC, and guys like:
  BAGDER of HORIZON
  ZODIAC of FLASH INC
  SCRAP  of GENESIS
  WALTER KONRAD of 2D
  GRYZOR'n STATUS of VISION
  HANNES SOMMER of COSMOS
  YUP & BURP of WOT
  ....and the others....

which is the best GRAPHIXER,
CODER and MUSICAN?
- best graphixers are BOB
  STEVENSON, HEIN DESIGN and
  X-AMPLE.
  the best coder is hard to say,
  but some that i like are KJER,
  TEC & HANNES SOMMER.
  about musicans i don't know.
  i don't like computermusic.

how many hours/day do you spend
infront of your computer?
- it depends. some days i can
  sit for FOUR-FIVE hours and
  other days i'm not using it
  at all.

what do you think about the
scene these days?
- the last two-three months has
  been boring, exept when i see
  myself on the lists, and it's
  TOO MANY discs magazines
  around. waste your time doing
  demos instead.

what do you think about cracks?
- i never cared that much. nice
  to play games sometimes, but..
  and don't you dare to CRACK
  my games in the future!
  ....eh, shit the same! (?)

what do you think about the
AMIGA then?
- boring demos and to easy to do
  nice graphics on (it's strange
  that there is very boring
  graphics for the moment when
  u thing about the capabilities

do LOGIC have a magazine?
- well, we've done two issues
  of FAIR CHARTS in a coop with
  VISION.

in your opinion, which is the
BEST disc magazine around?
- S'N C (please change the
  charts again omg. they are
  boring, really.)

so what do you think about our
mag, HOTSHOT then?
- nice outfit and quite
  interesting (FATHER ZODIAC is
  watching me!(just kidding)).

who is the biggest ASSHOLE in
the scene?
- i'll keep that for myself.

please describe a lamer?
- SHOUTING and CRITIZISING other
  guys work when he can't do
  better himself.

do you often goes to copypartys?
- no, not so often as i've been
  OUT OF MONEY mostly. i'm only
  been to the three HZ-pardies
  and the HEXAGON pardey in
  DENMARK.

do you have any IDOLS in the
scene?
- no, not really, but i respect
  some serious working guys.

would you like to change some-
thing in the scene?
- MORE DEMOS, clean up the
  jungle of discmagazines and
  stop these silly "federation
  against ......."

what are you doing in your
spare-time?
- besides computing i visit my
  friend, have a BEER, listen to
  music and reads.

do you have a GIRLFRIEND?
- please don't talk about girls
  for the moment.

what is your favourite:

what makes you ANGRY/HAPPY?
ANGRY: foolish politics, me
       reading newspapers.
HAPPY: being with friends,
       HULTFREDSFESTIVALS, see
       me on the lists getting a
       good critizism for my
       graphics.

do you have any enemies?
- don't know. i hope not.

name three things you would like
to bring with you on a DEZERT
island?
- a plane that will take me home
  again because i would got
  RESTLESS in no time.

as a last thing, do you wan't to
