before i'll print the letter i have
  recieved i want to say that this is
  the writer's opinion and i can't say i
  totaly agree with him though he has
  got some points...

you might wonder why i don't tell you my
  name but after you've read my lines
  i think you can understand...
  okay,it all started when i read
  MAMBA 21 and SHOCK 5. with both mags
  i got the feeling i was reading a
  stupid AMERICAN magazine as more than
  50% of the text was about the US and
  all those boring BOARDS...
  the only thing in mamba which were
  worth to read were the interviews and
  the comic! in shock there was so less
  text that i finished reading it in
  15 minutes...
  i used to think americans were cool,
  elite,people but almost all of them
  are only active as sysops or importers
  with their stupid modems...
  i also have a modem and i called the
  us as i thought it was cool. but after
  seeing those ugly basic-caracter text
  outputs with boring+ugly graphix i
  thought "is this soo cool?"...
  i think it's a waste of time and money
  to call boards as it's much faster by
  just talking normaly then typing all
  text on a keyboard...
  also the lines are sometimes soo bad
  that you get about 10 messed caracters
  between 2 letters you set yourself.
  and if you want to up/download some
  wares there almost always appear BAD
  BLOCKS so your ul/dl doesn't work!!
  just great! all that time wasted!
  but what are americans good for?!?
  completely nothing i think!!
  the only thing they do is to fix (?)
  cracks so they work in the us. (stupid
  voltage differences!) and sometimes
  they even crack a game.(not too often)
  okay,they fix the 'FIRST RELEASES'.
  but what's so special about that. why
  is a game cracked by TRC+TBI(jai alai)
  and released as first by mail not a
  real first-release? because it wasn't
  imported to the states? what a bull!!!
  they cracked and released it as first
  but due to lack of modem they didn't
  get a first-release although they were
  the first to release it!?
  i think this 'rule' was just invented
  by those elite (?) groups who were
  afraid that someone else would release
  a game before they did and so they
  made this 'rule' to lower competition!
  but this 'rule' seems to be outsmarted
  as more and more groups buy modems so
  they can 'first-release' their cracks
  too!! now the elite (?) got a new idea
  by slagging on those groups by saying
  it are only BUDGET games etc...
  but let me tell you that a game is a
  game and the lamest game can be hard
  to crack!!
  but now to get back to the US.
  if you live overthere and you got the
  money to buy a lot of hardware you
  just have to set up a board with 100
  drives,memory expansions etc... and
  you'll be elite (?) very soon!!!
  well,this looks kinda extreme but it's
  true!!  just look at EMPIRE. they are
  seen as elite by many guys just
  because they import so fast... it has
  nothing to do with hard work at all.
  as a sysop you just check the wares,
  write some messages.
  okay,some of you overthere also FIX
  games,but why? we in europe don't have
  any problems with games as they all
  work fine! you just fix them so they
  work in the us. fine with me,but why
  do you send those fixed games back to
  europe? waste of time i think!
  some of you also train games... also
  fine with me,but isn't that the job of
  the cracker himself?!?
  i think the 'first-release' business
  has also to do something with you.
  if you don't have to 'fix' them before
  the crack is a first-release then
  nobody would bother calling you and
  then you would have nothing to do!
  smart,smart,smart!!!
  the only thing worth mentioning about
  the US are the DEMO-GROUPS.
  ARSON is very nice compared to the
  european standart. too bad you don't
  fix the DEMOS instead of the CRACKS so
  we can see how they really look like!
  but then it's probably too hard to fix
  a demopart with all that timing!!

 but to come to an end now i always say

    "UNITED STATES,WHO NEEDS THEM?!"
